Excellent location and very friendly staff

I recently reserved a room at Santa Rio Taxim Hotel in Istanbul for my sister, and she had a wonderful experience. First, I want to give special thanks to Ms. Asiyeh at the reception desk for her exceptional service and assistance during her stay. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. A big thank you as well to John for his helpfulness and attentive service. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to Taksim Square, Istiklal Street, and many shopping centers. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to explore the city while staying in a vibrant area. The hotel itself is clean, well-maintained, and offers great facilities. The high-speed internet worked flawlessly, which was great for staying connected. The air conditioning was also excellent, providing a comfortable atmosphere. Overall, a highly recommended hotel for anyone visiting Istanbul!

the new building has not the same quality as the older one

My double room was big, nicely furnished, very clean. There is a sitting area with a table and chairs. I liked very much the variety of lighting - on the ceiling, near the bed, covering different sections of the room. Hotel staff are simply the best. Ms Salma (speaks good EN and FR), Ali, Baran, and all other guys were very welcoming and helpful. Very good location a couple of minutes from the Taksim square (metro, buses, IST and SAW airport buses). IST airport can be reached in around 1 h by metro. Lots of eateries and small shops around. Good stable WiFi. I would definitely recommend Santa Rio

The room was spacious, clean, quiet and matched the photos. The bed was very comfortable and bathroom had enough toiletries for daily use. The sink and coffee supplies were an added bonus. Ali and lady working the lobby were friendly, informative and made me feel comfortable, at ease and were there when I returned from touring which made me feel safe. The area is busy but not loud nor unsafe. Less than a block from Taksim Square with restaurants, markets, stores, vendors and plenty of taxis, metro, buses and plenty of sites within walking distance and make sure to walk Istiklal Street. Istanbul is an energetic city and like the Santa Rio Taxim hotel it is very inviting. I would suggest, if you're visiting Istanbul, try to book a room there, you won't regret it. I will return but only if I can stay there.

That I couldn't stay longer.....

The hotel was located perfectly near the Taksim Square, literally 5 minutes walk and not on a steep hill which was a really big bonus. The rooms although a bit small were very comfortable. The hotel was close to all amenities and about 4 minutes from the metro. The staff were also so helpful and seemed like they would go out of their way to help. Also want to say the girl who works in the morning, never got her name was really nice and want to thank her for the tea she offered me every morning when waiting for my parents to come down from their room.

Nothing not to like

I recently stayed at (Santa Rio taxim hotel), and it was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. The Room was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch, with helpful and friendly staff. The location is great it's very close to Taksim and it's in a safe area. I would definitely stay here again in the future. And i highly recommend this hotel.

Everything was perfect and amazing

Another highlight is the hotel's proximity to Taksim Square, a hub of cultural and social activity. Guests are just a short stroll away from experiencing the vibrant heart of Istanbul, with its array of shops, cafes, and historical landmarks. Yet, once inside the hotel, the hustle and bustle of the city feels worlds away, ensuring a peaceful and relaxing environment. The culinary experience at the hotel is also worth noting. The breakfast spread is varied and delicious, featuring a mix of local and international cuisine that caters to all tastes. The dining area, like the rest of the hotel, is spotless and well-appointed, making every meal a pleasant experience.

nothing all it's Good

Santa rio was great. Clean, unique location, great staffs and really affordable. I booked a family room,5 beds, 2 bedroom, and 1 bathroom. Every time of day you can find drinking water, hot tea, turkish coffee and a smiling staff who tries his best to help you. The location is exactly in taksim area, just 2 minute walk to Istiklal Street , Metro station and Istanbul Tunel .

I cannot mention it as a negative point but you should aware that staff's English language is not good. During your stay they communicate you well thanks to Google Translate, but making phone communications with staffs is a little bit hard.

It was a very pleasant stay, every thing from location, room, service was great. We reached early and they accommodated us in another room until our room was being prepared. The hotel location was excellent, near to metro and bus service. Definitely coming again to stay. Special Thanks to Ms. Salma for being nice host.

Kitchen with little moee utencils would be good. Stove is not available so cooking is not an option. However there are lot restaurant in nearby area.

NO BREAKFAST LOCATION WAS NEARER TO TRANSPORTATION ,SHOPS,ATM,IT WAS GOOD

CHANGE OF ROOM CARPETS,THEY NEED CLEANING,THY IS A BIT OF SMELL,MY ROOM SMELLED CIGARETTES,THEY DONT SPEAK ENGLISH,THEY WAS NO SAFE IN MY ROOM,BACK VIEW WAS HORRIBLE, MY CHECK IN WAS 2PM ,I ARRIVED AT 7AM, THY REFUSED EARLY CHECK IN AND I BOOKED NEXT DOOR, AT 2PM MY ROOM WAS STILL NOT READY ,I HAD TO LEAV MY LUGGAGE UNDER THEIR CARE TO GO FOR LUNCH
