I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Saratoga Hotel in Istanbul twice—both before and after my seaside retreat—and it genuinely exceeded my expectations. The hotel is impeccably clean, with every detail thoughtfully attended to. The staff are exceptionally helpful, consistently going above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Their warmth and dedication truly enhanced our experience. The breakfast is superb, offering a delightful start to each day with a wide variety of delicious options. The location is outstanding, placing us right in the heart of the city and making it effortless to explore Istanbul's rich history and vibrant culture. In short, the Saratoga Hotel is the perfect place to stay, and the fantastic management ensures a seamless and memorable visit. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a remarkable stay in Istanbul.

From the whole trip to Istanbul, our hotel was by far the best choice. Just 5 minutes away from Hagia Sophia, Top Kapi, and Blue Mosque. Very safe, very clean, nice decoration, warm room, very good breakfast till 10:30 and on top of all these? the people here are some of the nicest and kindest people we met. They were truly helpful with everything we asked for. We recommend it to everyone, and we will definitely come again when we visit Istanbul!! Thank you!!!

The most wunderful staff imaginable. Savas and Emir and their crew are the most thoughtful, attentive, kind and well mannered staff I encountered - and I travel much. When I had to get up early, before breakfast time, they improvised a breakfast, When I could not leave my room, they arranged a meal from one of the nearby restaurants to be delivered to my room. The staff is young, well-educated, they obviously LOVE their city (and Istanbul indeed is beautiful) and no service asked is to big or to small to them. Above all: one instantly feels at home int Saratoga, almost among friends. The fact that the beautiful SultanAhmet mosque is only 150 meters away (one sees the six minarets from the room), the Hagia Sophia 400 meters, and the Hippodrome just around the corner (less than a minute walking) of course is also a great plus. Highly recommended. I will certainly return.

Everything was perfect - except the November weather.

The best hotel staff I've ever met, all staff members starting from reception to the staff serving breakfast went beyond all expectations, lovely people, lovely attitude, I think that's how they show their hospitality, amazing. The room was very comfy, very very clean, the breakfast was just perfect, the location is unbeatable, just in the heart of historical center of Istanbul. Loved my stay very much, thank you very much, I had a pleasant stay

Absolutely nothing to mention

we booked this for our 4 year wedding anniversary and stayed for 9 nights, service has been EXCEPTIONAL. the location is 10/10, a few min walk away from all major landmarks. everyone there has been so lovely. they even decorated our bed with rose petals and a bouquet was sent to our room on the night of our anniversary. thankyou to all the staff working there for making our time so pleasant and easy. the housekeeping has been immaculate, fresh linen and towels every single day and all our belongings stayed safe. i accidentally left my macbook out of my luggage on the second day and even though we went out and had our sheets changed, it was still there. then i knew i could trust them with anything, the entirety of the trip in our room and i could keep my macbook out in the room without any worries of theft or security problems, i love the lady who did that for us i can trust her with my life. thankyou to mehmet for keeping us laughing during the night, having funny conversations with us when we would come home from a long day out. thankyou to the kind beautiful girl with the red hair, i had accidentally taken the wrong medication and was suffering from side effects during our holiday and she called an ambulance for me and translated and stayed by me the whole time, i love her and i owe her everything. i’m missing out so many more lovely people, the 3 other guys were also friendly, polite and caring. everyone has been so wonderful and we have recommended this to our family and friends. this will not be our last trip to istanbul and when we are back we will be staying here again 💖

If you're looking to stay in this area, I would definitely recommend Saratoga. The room was quiet, modern, and comfortable. The staff were incredibly nice. There was an elevator, which some people will really like (since a lot of hotels in the area do not have one). Wifi worked well enough for us to do some work, including a video call. And if you are there on a Wednesday, check out the wonderful farmer's market across the street! I would not hesitate to book.

When you turn on the room electricity with the room key, there is a small surge that can happen. We had a phone charger plugged into the wall when this happened and it burnt out our phone charger. Luckily staff at the hotel let us borrow theirs for the rest of our stay. I would still definitely stay at this hotel, just make sure not to leave anything plugged in when you leave.

Location: The hotel is 2 minutes walk from the big blue Mosque, and 5min from Sultanahmet avenue with the big bazaar and all the restaurants, trams etc. Hotel: The room was very clean every day, very modern bathroom, access to YouTube and Netflix if you have an account with the TV in the room. The breakfast is very varied and delicious and homemade. The staff were very respectful and available if we needed them without being too intrusive. I felt comfortable and safe! Don't hesitate for a second. Honestly, I'd come back for sure!

1. The ventilation and air conditioning noise resembles the sound of a water tank filling up. 2. If you prefer to sleep with an open window, be aware of outside noise from the heater on the terrace where breakfast is served (for rooms with a terrace view) and the sound of passing cars from the street (for rooms with a view of the historic wall). 3. The mattresses are soft.

A cozy, family-friendly hotel just a 3-minute walk from the Blue Mosque, with a fantastic location in the heart of the old town. Most of the major historical landmarks are within walking distance. The hotel is exceptionally clean, with comfortable and pleasant rooms. Its cleanliness is outstanding. The staff are incredibly helpful, kind, and reliable. They promptly addressed all our requests. The Wi-Fi works perfectly. The breakfast offers homemade, delicious food. We are very satisfied and grateful for everything—thank you!
