The bed was very comfortable. Best I have ever slept in.Tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Room was serviced every day at a good time. Location was central for everywhere. Very quiet in room air conditioning.

We arrived early but our room wasn't ready which was fine. We were able to leave our cases in a locked room. When we returned at 3pm the room still wasn't ready so we were given another. I don't know if it was any different to the one we should have had. It was smaller than I expected. The view from the room was ugly looking out over 19 air conditioning units, one which was particularly noisy. The roof top bar and restaurant wasn't open. We used the bar on the ground floor. Service was a bit slow and we could never work out if it was table service or bar service, but that's the same all over Gibraltar.

The Elliot is a smart hotel in a good central location. The room was clean and very comfortable whilst not being luxurious, it was of higher quality than a hotel with a lower star rating.

there were raw oats available at breakfast but when I asked they were not able to cook porridge with it... this meant for me some rather stodgy breakfasts. Otherwise all was well.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff couldn't do enough, with excellent facilities. Photos on Bookig.com are a very fair representation of what you get and very comfortable massive king-sized beds, ...basically two small double beds put together. Could probably get a family of 4 in them and still have your own space.

Much like Gibraltar, neither the hotel or the location seem really about tourism staying in Gibraltar as location for a holiday. Both come across as a place you pass through as a place to visit, either for business or tourism on the way to somewhere else. Nightlife is poor, and literally everything closes 11pm except on Friday. Gibraltar is not like it used to be when the military were there, then it was a party town until 3 or 4 am. Once you've done the sights, it's a bit boring, to be honest. But the people are lovely. Only negative about the hotel was that the room cleaning was good, but not brilliant, especially if like us one morning you were late up and missed your cleaning slot, then it looked rushed, had to ask for it to be done and then things were missed.

The rooms were big with very comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. The bartenders and front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel was centrally located. I thought it was a little pricey for what we got but it was a nice accommodation.

I asked for a view. The hotel was full when we got there so there were no rooms left with one, but I feel like we booked so early with that request, we should have gotten one especially since we booked 2 rooms and it was pricey. We booked a family room with a pullout and another with 2 twins. There was no bedding for the pullout. I called and it didn't come. I called again and they only brought the mattress pad. Then I went to the front desk, and they finally brought the bedding and extra towel. We were comfortable at the hotel, so it wasn't a deal breaker, but just annoying. I would stay here again.

Everything was as described. The staff were all incredibly helpful and service in the restaurant was very efficient. We enjoyed being able to spend time beside the pool to relax in the afternoons after a morning walking around Gibraltar. There is plenty of choice for drinking and eating around the hotel if you want to explore further but the food and drink at The Eliot was very good. The views at breakfast at the top of the hotel are amazing. The hotel is well positioned for shopping and sightseeing.

The water in the pool itself was a little chilly but you could soon get used to that. However, if you go later in the afternoon when the sun has been shining on the water then it is extremely pleasant.

Location great - very central but still quiet. The hotel is very efficiently run. Rooms are clean and comfortable - beds in particular. We came with two children and were able to have adjoining rooms. This made things really easy and added to the enjoyment of our visit. We found our stay here more relaxing than at the other very well known hotel we have usually stayed in. I'm sure we will be back. We always enjoy taking the cable car and then walking through the nature reserve back to town. A boat ride to watch the dolphins was enjoyable and something we haven't previously done.

There was nothing we disliked but I think the restaurant menu could be a little more sophisticated and varied - also the wine list.

The hotel was in a perfect location for the centre of Gibraltar and the room was quiet and very very comfortable and everything was only a few steps away. The staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was all that you required and being a light eater you are able to just take what you require.

Their was nothing about the Hotel that that you could dislike. One comment i would like it took me a while to find the location of where breakfast was being served on my first day as i expected it to on the ground floor.

Staying at the Eliott hotel exceeded our expectations and we are so pleased to have chosen this hotel for our visit to Gibraltar. The location was excellent, making it easy to get to all the main sights. We particularly enjoyed relaxing by the pool after long sightseeing days.

A minor point, but sometimes it was difficult to get the drinks of our choice in the bar on an evening (particularly the cocktails). This was a supply issue rather that a service issue.

Staff are always so welcoming, helpful & friendly. Room is clean. The hotel smells lovely when you walk in & the location is perfect for easy access to everywhere in Gibraltar. Afternoon tea was very well received by my mother & her friend.

There were inconsistencies between the rooms. Not all rooms, 2 out 4, received complimentary Prosecco & truffles. One room did not have a coffee machine. On the 2nd night the neighbouring room was very noisy which led to a poor nights sleep. The first night was excellent.

Great location to explore The Rock. The executive room with Balcony and Seaview was lovely and Hotel had provided a surprise bottle of bubbly as it was our Honeymoon. All the hotel staff were very friendly from cleaners to reception. We had prepaid for breakfast which provides you very a good selection of Full English and Continental. I had advised in advance of our stay that I would require a Gluten Free option which they said was no problem.

My own personal issue was that after day 2 they had run out of gluten free bread in the mornings and told they were unable to get any from the supplier.....we walked to Morrison and purchased some ourselves.
