Good location near downtown center of Troy. Very clean. Breakfast was standard bland hotel food, but warm and a lot of variety and options whatever your food needs (veg. Etc…) I didn’t interact with the staff a lot- but when I did they were polite and friendly.

Noticeably older looking than photos display. It seemed that there might have been an renovation/update to part of the facilities but not all- that’s just my impression. I didn’t appreciate being put into a room with an adjoining room as a solo female traveler especially on night two when the adjoining guest tried to open the door between the rooms.

I liked the location only 10 minutes away from family. Breakfast was good. The staff at check in upgraded our room with a shower instead of a tub because the last Holiday Inn we stayed at in Virginia the night before had a tub/shower combo that was not flat and we both almost fell because it was slippery and bowed at the bottom very narrow.

The heat was very dry so we had to keep the temperature down to be comfortable. Also the TV would quit randomly while watching at night. The shower could use a bar to grab because the floor was slippery so you had to be careful. We are both 70 so a bar to grab inside would have been helpful because grabbing the door handle only made the door open so no stability.

The breakfast was one of the best I've ever had at a hotel. Good Greek yogurt with fresh fruit toppings, GOOD scrambled eggs (well seasoned, made from fresh eggs), bacon, hash browns, and an assortment of other items. Not a huge selection but everything was very good. The staff was very helpful. We were a group of cyclers the provided a place for bicycles. Everything about our stay was first rate.

I liked the ease of access, even on the 3rd floor. The pharmacopia products were so good! The fresh look and the music in the lobby - gay vibes. We appreciated the lower cost on this trip. We had looked previously and saw $300-$400 a room mid-summer. Smh.

The grey walls. Not all greys are equal. Sherwin Williams- Agreeable Grey may have been a better choice, it’s softer, warmer, and inviting. The hot food, at breakfast, wasn’t hot. The mattress was okay, but very springy, it could have been more comfy.

The hotel appears to be newly renovated The atmosphere was very pleasant The rooms were clean I will definitely return to this location

I feel the front desk staff could of been a little more helpful/pleasant - Staff didn’t greet patrons as they came & went We stopped at the front desk twice & the staff did the bare minimum -certainly no above & beyond here - on one occasion- the staff appeared to be texting- she did not respond to a question we asked- never looked up & walked away without a response at all ?! It’s too bad b/c it is a beautiful hotel I’ve stayed at hotels in the past that cost a lot less than Troy BW - were not updated or remodeled- but the staff was amazing- I’d almost rather stay there & deal w pleasant/friendly staff

Breakfast was great. The Hotel staff was very helpful. We came to enjoy the National Orchestra of Ukraine at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall, which is only 5 blocks away. Little did we know that the full orchestra was staying there, and we had breakfast with the First Violin, and the Maestro! We will be back and recommend this Hotel to anyone who is travelling to Troy.

Amazing breakfast. Changed food everyday, the eggs were really good. Comfortable room. Walking distance from downtown where we went to a delicious morocan place

The citrus smell in all bathroom product was too strong, especially for someone like me that doesn't like citrus. Troy is kinda sketchy and rundown.

Staff really went above and beyond to help us. We had to extend our stay unexpectedly, and the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. We really appreciate it!

Breakfast was average, and the complete lack of hooks for hanging up towels in the bathroom was surprising.

It would have been nice if they would have called me a taxi. I do, though, thank them for giving me a number to call myself. This may be a fine point, but I come from another country and this meant a double long distance call for me.

location was central. staff was accommodating. Parking for disabled was convenient. Staff was excellent. One man went to additional length to help us, obtaining fresh eggs and cooking them for us.

Breakfast lacked fresh fruit, cereal was sugared from a packet, options for anyone with health issues were slim.However as I said above, staff were exceptional in helping us. We loved the pictures of historic Troy on the walls.
