I was a little worried about staying at this hotel after seeing the reviews. we got there at 3:30 and they had about 5 people at front desk. They were all friendly and helpful getting our rooms with friends on same floor. Our room was nice and clean. We did see security around and did not see homeless people hanging around or in the parking garage.

The hotels parking garage does look a little scary but we did not have any problems. They have a club in the hotel and only 1 elevator that goes to parking and rooms so in the evening it did take a while to get to the room.

10 minute straight walk to the convention center. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. They have usb plug ins. Have stayed here several times with no major issues.

No free breakfast or microwave in the rooms (which was I knew beforehand). The ice machine on our floor and at least one other was broken. The room is kinda dark even with the lamps on.

Breakfast was great although we thought it was complimentary it ended up be a buffet style breakfast for $13.95 each person!!

I couldn’t find a Ice maker that worked

The night hostess was amazing!! I don’t know her name but she went above and beyond. We had a big crow with us. We went to see Hamilton and wanted to get together afterwards to visit but the couldn’t find anything open that late to accommodate us so we went back to the hotel. She opened a room for us so we could visit. It was very much appreciated and made our stay that much more special. She didn’t have to do this so Thank you very much!!

The bathtub drained very very slow.

My husband lost his wallet- actually left it in the room. We called about an hour after we had checked out and they had us hold the line while they sent someone to check the room. They found the wallet and I was so impressed when he picked it up, they actually studied his drivers license picture very well and asked him his home address etc to verify he was the correct owner. Thank you all for your help!!!

The staff was extremely nice and helpful. The beds were comfy, and the setup was very convenient for my friends and I. The parking system was efficient and the location was great for our event.

The sink didn’t drain in our room and there were some lights that didn’t work in my friend’s room. Dallas has a bad homeless problem which isn’t the hotel’s fault but there were some unwanted interactions leaving or arriving at the hotel.

The location

The lighting in the room, but it wasn’t the real issue. My issue was there was no mirror in the room. The other issue was how the hotel was booked and it took half an hour to get downstairs due to only two elevators working. Also, only one front desk person working to check everyone in, but he handled it and never lost his cool. Other than that the hotel was great.

The location was great for our visit. Across street from WestEnd DART tram and busses. Was able to walk to the downtown area for restaurants but also used transit to get to museums, American airline arena, and Love Airport. The price for the room was a deal compared to surrounding hotels. The breakfast buffet was what one might expect for $15-coffees, pastries, eggs, cereals, fruits, hash browns, sausage, bacon, pancakes, waffles, etc. The bar was pricey for what we got in a solo cup. Front desk nice and helpful.

The area was a little scary to walk at night due to a heavy homeless presence asking for money or just yelling at us. We got stuck in the elevator, but when I called the front desk from my cell phone, they fixed it immediately. The bathroom was really small, with the shower and toilet being very crowded with not much room to turn around. The bedroom area was comfortable. I felt this property was not the normal level of what I've experienced at other Crowne Plaza hotels, but considering the price, we were happy with staying here..

It was a comfortable quiet clean room, nice hotel. Fairly close to the arts district and the AT&T Performing Arts Center but a little far to walk.The downtown area has some beautiful fountains and places to go but has really become a dirty place with a huge homeless population. The city needs to do something about that. This area has some really classy places but the homeless druggies make it a rough neighborhood that doesn't feel safe.

Way too many homeless people everywhere in the area. I was very glad the hotel had security.

I love this location. We stay here for multiple concert venues in Dallas, TX. The hotel has convenient access to the highway to get back home. And they have King Balcony Rooms.

The parking garage is a mess if you drive a truck. We scrape the top of the truck every time. We stayed in room 1035. This is a king balcony room. There were 2 chairs on the balcony but no table. For some reason this room didn't have a refrigerator. It had the spot for it but no actual fridge. The alarm clock had the wrong time but we don't use it so didn't mess with it. TWICE during the night the radio turned on at max volume! I can see if it was set for an alarm but TWICE, hours apart? My boyfriend uses an insulin pump and between these alarm clock incidences somehow his insulin pump was set to not deliver insulin. If you have a pump, this is lots of button pushing to achieve this. When we were getting ready to leave the phone rang one time.
