Our room was furnished very modern. It was very clean, big tv, air conditioning , comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities. All the staff members are extremely friendly and helpful. It was ok to leave our bags in the hotel after check out because we were only leaving Dubai in the evening, very much appreciated.

It is not a real dislike of the hotel but more a warning concerning the location. Read up on the location of this hotel and see if it is suitable for you. The area is not glamorous as some parts of Dubai. I was aware and kind of enjoyed to see this other side of the city but it probably is not for everybody.

Overall acceptable hotel and families can use it too. Lot of restaurants and shops nearby. Bus station is near, metro is not near but can also be reached on foot.

price is a little higher for this type of property. If you get a room near lifts then noise of people and staff is ver ydisturbing. But they did change my room and it was quite peaceful.

The hotel was really clean and amazing. The receptionist(Deborah) , the chef (Thomas), and the security(Godwin) all of them were veryyyy sweet and humble. Whenever we needed something, it was done within minutes. The food (morning buffet) was exceptional. There was soooo much variety everyday. Chef Thomas prepared different items everyday and all of them were really tasty. There was rice ,noodles ,salad , chicken sausages, gravy and also chappathi, poori and some more indian items. Everything was exceptional. I stayed in Garden city hotel for 7 days and it was amazing. Will definitely go back. Thank you all for everything.

It’s affordable and located near to downtown city and near to gold souq, local restaurants are available nearby. Government parking is free from 10pm to 8am. Need to pay 4 AED per hour for parking provided by government, private parking 10 AED per hour and hotel provides paid parking advance booking, only 2 spots available. I chose government parking, need little search for parking spots.

Breakfast was continental type, Indian breakfast not available and rooms are little small but ok. Inside room they provide mini bar, need to pay for eating anything from it. No free parking. Only shower in bathroom, no hand spray in bath shower room.

The staff were exceptional and extremely kind.The housekeeper was a very nice chap and ensured he did his job 110%. The location was great too, very old style Dubai with lots of exploring and buses and train within walking distance. Had breakfast across each days, very delicious and allowed us to have what we want and as much as we desire. A security guard on main door for that extra comfort and safety although crime is almost non-existent in Deira, Dubai. Room had air con, uses a laundry service at reasonable price, has a gym top floor I believe, a reasonable sized fridge to store your groceries, a wardrobe and a safe to store your personal belogings safely. Plenty of shops nearby too. If you are thinking about this hotel, as a Brit, it's a very great location and a fantastic hotel. Its an absolute bargain for what you get. Nothing to dislike. It was just that good!

The best part of the Garden City Hotel is the staff. Very friendly and willing to help you. The room was quite acceptable. They were cracks and ants here and there, but nothing to worry about. The breakfast was quite good and had Western and Eastern parts to it, according to your need. And in a hot climate, a refrigerator is very welcome to store your drinks. There is a bus nearby which will take you (slowly--about 35-40 minutes) towards the Burj Khalifa directly.

The location was in a part of town that dealt with smalll machine part stores. Not more retail options. Those parts are maybe 15 minutes walk away. I walked to the nearest Metro station to connect with everything. That takes about 20-25 minutes. It's real-life non-mall like Dubai. I kind of enjoyed that. But it's not for everyone and quite far in the heat.

The Garden City Hotel is an incredible hotel. If you want to stay in Deira, this is the BEST one to choose! The staff at this facility were incredible. Everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome from the security guards all the way to housekeeping. Special thanks to: -Thomas, the hotel chef. Every morning you made sure my family and I were comfortable and for always checking in on us in case we needed anything. The breakfast was also different, creative, and delicious every single day!!! -Azam and Godwin, the wonderful security guards who always made sure we didn’t get lost by giving the best directions, helping us get a taxi and even just taking the time to speak to us about our day! -Fazele, Parwez and other front desk staff were great! Every time we stepped out of the elevator they greeted us with their smiles. They were always so happy and cheerful. If we needed anything they happily and quickly arranged it for us. -Suraj, the gentleman in charge of maintenance was also very kind and helpful. When we bought something for our child and did not have a way to open and add batteries, he quickly brought a screwdriver and opened it for us and tested the item. -Lastly, the entire housekeeping staff. From the moment we arrived at 3am, they helped us settle into our rooms and brought our bags. Every morning they made sure we had everything we needed (fresh towels and water or anything else we may need). Overall we were so impressed with our stay and will definitely come back and stay here! In fact this might be the only place we stay at from now on, mainly for their amazing hospitality! Thank you everyone at The Garden City Hotel for making our stay an absolutely wonderful experience! The property is located in prime location in old Dubai, safe locality, close to Union metro. Restaurants and shops nearby. The room we booked was a triple bedroom with extra large king bed, which was enough for three people, my family. We were also upgraded to a higher story balcony room. Very modern facilities, clean, good breakfast and a total value for the money. Room cleaning was daily with toiletries resupplied. Mini bar is well stocked. Big, airy rooms on the upper floors. Great for budget travel with family. The main thing I would like to emphasise is the hospitality of the staff. They were there to assist us 24x7. From the floor staff who gave us water, snacks even in the middle of the night. We struck a very friendly spot with the chef of the kitchen, Mr. Thomas who would personally check on us every morning during breakfast. His warm greeting would light up many a day. Also, to Deborah, Melani at the reception, Azam the security man who assisted us with our luggage, they all made us feel at home. Staff really went out of their limits to make our stay memorable. Would coma back anytime.

All hotel staff, from security, to reception, cleaning and kitchen is very hospitable, polite and willing to have a best stay for their guests! Good and diverse breakfast prepared by chef Thomas, good connections with Dubai Airport (bus C1 for Terminal 1, bus 43 for Terminal 2, Baniyas metro station at 15 min. walk, bus 8 for all coastline attractions ; nol card is mandatory to be used, as tickets cannot be purchased in the bus), good quality/price ratio, clean room and bathroom, water, tea, coffee, kettle for free in the room. In conclusion, I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel and I will come again with pleasure!

Although Deira and old Dubai might not be the most touristic areas, location is not the hotel's fault.

Hello, I spent two weeks in the Garden City hotel, was received by a wonderful Mr Bobby, 👍& very welco smiling, very friendly with his co-worker Deborah🫶, this is a very professional angel, a always available, read! anything. to make those customers happy. In addition when I was hungry, the charming Melani😘 takes care of like a very respectful King and her smile encourages y eat again and again. My security was ensured by Godwin🫡 %a very nice guy, he did me a lot of service respect 1 you dear brother. In general my stay was very pleasan hotel is in a good location.

there is just a problem with the cleaning of the rooms, the rooms are not very well cleaned it is a 3 star hotel guys it must be seen especially in terms of cleanliness. the with hair or hair, there is humidity in the room from which the paint is stripped the tablets are not properly wiped puff.
