The breakfast was excellent. A* quality fruit and ingredients used throughout. A mix of fresh bread and other hot items such as blueberry pancakes cooked daily. The hoists couldn't do enough for us. Sam came out at night to meet us when Google Maps directed us down a farm track off the postcode (we were approaching from the north so if anyone finds themself being directed this way just drive a little further on the main road until you see the sign to the guest house otherwise you could find yourself coming to a dead-end and forced into a long reverse). They were excellent hoists. The gardens were a delight and a pleasure to look out on whilst having breakfast.

There wasn't anything to dislike.

Patricia and Sam are the most welcoming and warmest hosts. They immediately made us feel at home and took every step to make our stay comfortable and unforgettable. From booking dinner at a restaurant nearby to providing icy water in our room every day and more, they took care of every detail. They truly love hosting people. The property is absolutely stunning, inside and out. The breakfast was phenomenal, a taste sensation! We could easily reach all major sites and enjoy the beautiful countryside and coastal views. We will definitely be back as we loved every moment of it!

Everything was perfect!

Sam and Pat offered an inviting and warm home from which to explore the countryside from. They looked after all our needs and then some. Their attention to details is extraordinary! The beautiful home and manicured grounds are in perfect harmony, all set by the River Rhee. A varied breakfast is carefully prepared and served in a peaceful setting and is delicious.

I should have booked a longer stay here

Scrumptious Breakfast, then relaxing & watching the local Birds + Crows in the fields & their lovely gardens & sitting by the babbling brook. Proximity to a large variety of places like Portrush, Port Stewart, Giant's Causeway & Antrim Coast etc; Note: You must have transport to benefit from location.

Nothing really...Sam & Pat are your consumate hosts

Exceptionally clean, wonderful variety of extremely delicious food for breakfast, comfortable bed, beautiful decor, use of the lounge for fun board games, friendly and welcoming hosts Sam and Pat. They had a table booked for us at a nearby inn in case we hadn’t had dinner, which was so thoughtful. We loved the countryside location.

Nothing to dislike.

Everything! Pat & Sam (and Daisy!) are wonderful hosts and owners of a sumptuous property in the heart of Northern Ireland. They make you feel very comfortable, are very welcoming, kind and friendly. We enjoyed our wee chats and afternoon tea breaks. The house is stunning and sits in a marvellous outside scenery. It is superbly looked after. The breakfast was also amazing and entirely homemade! Best Irish breakfast we ever had!

is there anything to not like about this property?! I’m still searching…

My sister and I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful B&B mid September. Our hosts Pat and Sam were absolutely the best. They made sure we had everything we needed and the breakfast was by far was the best. The setting was beautiful and landscaping around the property was a home run.

Nothing.

What a wonderful B&B! We were over for a wedding, so was a very short trip, arriving late on the Friday and leaving Sunday morning. Unfortunately, our flight was delayed meaning we didn't arrive at until 12.30am, but Sam stayed up to welcome us in and had provided us with fresh milk and iced water in the room in case we wanted a tea or drink after our trip. This kindness and attentiveness was a theme throughout our stay. Beds were super comfy; the selection at breakfast was wonderful; and the sound of the river and aesthetically pleasing view topped it all off. If you want a quiet stay that is close to all the wonders of the north coast without the hefty prices, I would highly recommend staying at Crowfield Country House.

There is nothing that we didn't like about this stay. The only thing I would recommend is hiring a car if you are to stay here. Taxis are available, but on a weekend they would need to be booked in advance really and can cause a little bit of uncertainty around getting about.

We stayed 4 nights with Sam and Pat and without exaggeration this was far and away the best B&B experience we have enjoyed. The house and gardens are immaculate and as soon as we arrived after a day of travel tea and home baked cake served in the lounge made us feel at home. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of choices to suit all taste and the little sweet treats left in our room each day made it special. Attention to detail is the secret here and that along with excellent tips about travel, sights and eateries made our stay. We will recommend Crowfield to all our friends, English and Irish alike.

The breakfast was spectacular. Varied, abundant, well-presented and very tasty. We cannot say enough about the food, the quiet location and in, particular, our exceptional hosts, Sam and Pat. We were grateful for the opportunity to met them and learn about their past experiences as hoteliers and chefs. The passion for what they do shows in the way they present themselves, their property and the way they treat their guests. We would have easily given 11 out of 10 stars!!
