Everything!! I loved this property, it was one of the nicest places I’d ever stayed in. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back!!

was really quiet and peaceful. the place was absolutely stunning. wish we could of stayed longer. we really enjoyed our stay and are already looking for suitable dates to visit again!

the nest temperature keep dropping down very low and we where a little cold.

This was our second time staying at squirrel cottage we loved it so much the first time we had to go back. It’s cosy and heats up fast. It was raining when we went but we just held the umbrella over the hot tub and still got in until the rain stopped. The cottage itself is very spacious and has been spotless both times we went, there’s also a booklets of restaurants and takeaways nearby and a bit about the cottage in it. We especially love the photo album of the construction of the cottage!

What didn't we like! From the squirrel knocker, to.the.open shower, the hot tub, the bed and even a little glass of milk in the fridge. The toilet roll was scented. Just every little.detail was thought off! My partner proposed to me at this venue so it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Absolutely nothing

Loved the hot tub unfortunately due to rain didn't get to use it as much as we wanted I suggest a cover to be erected to help guests use hot tub more. A large outdoor umbrella would even work. The hot tub area was very private and I know our weather can be hit and miss and not the owners fault but I think if we had a cover we would have enjoyed the hit tub more. We loved the cottage as a whole great bathroom and bedroom plus massive TV wished we had booked it for another night.

We didn't like that the hot tub was not covered to enable us to use it in all weather conditions as our stay we had alot of rain which is not the owners fault but feel a covered area or large outdoor umbrella provided for guests would have helped.

Honestly one of the most beautiful places i have ever stayed in. Stayed just before Christmas and there was a little Christmas tree in the bedroom 🥺. great facilities, tv, hot tub, huge bed! Full kitchen. Milk left in the fridge was a great touch. Will 100% stay again.

Lovely peaceful location with fantastic views.

Whilst the property was lovely, it was very cold. We did visit in December though and the weather was awful. The radiators were small and did not fully warm the rooms. The bed was also a bit uncomfy as it sagged down in the middle. It did not spoil our stay though.

Absolutely amazing. I was blown away with how beautiful this little cottage is. The decor is beautiful and you can tell a lot of time went into every detail. I could have spent hours in the bath, the only reason I didn’t is because I wanted to make use of the hot tub. We have been looking for a local getaway and I think we have found it. We will definitely be returning on a regular basis.

The standard of renovations is unreal everything is done up to highest standard. Absolutely loved the big copper bath and shower, Facilities were good there is everything you would ever need.
