Lovely views from the bedroom window, especially with a cup of tea first thing! Comfortable room and bed. Good facilities in the bathroom with a good shower and choice of bath too. Enjoyed the breakfasts which were cooked by Brad very well with a good selection of choices. Both Brad and Philippa were very helpful and friendly and a had good range of information about where to eat and what to do. We really enjoyed our stay and liked Barmouth and the surrounding walks very much.

Nothing really. If being really picky maybe a choice of a brighter light by the sink if needed as bathroom was quite dark by design.

Breakfast was great, a really good varied selection and freshly prepared. Some rooms have the option for you to have breakfast delivered to your room. The property location is just perfect for views, and being a short way from the main town to be quiet, yet close enough to wonder into town for food (there are some amazing places to eat and drink) or for a bit of shopping. The hosts were, welcoming and friendly, very knowledgable about the local area, nothing was to much trouble. Really liked the communication via WhatsApp with the hosts, which worked really well for us. We couldn't have had a better stay at No6 - Thank you Brad and Phillipa.

We were unfortunate enough to have encounter some 'extreme' weather, (hurricane force winds and rain!!) however this didn't deter us from venturing out and enjoying our stay - it added to the 'fun'!

Our stay at No. 6 was perfect! Our hosts were outstanding and so helpful, providing a beautiful, tastefully decorated and comfortable room with great facilities and views across the estuary. Our breakfasts were absolutely outstanding, obviously home cooked with great care and several good choices all served beautifully, we chose to eat in our room as we had such great views but the breakfast room was also decorated beautifully and had good views of Barmouth Bridge. Thank you for such a fabulous stay - we hope to return.

I can't think of anything that I would have changed, however it is worth noting that parking is not available on site (except if you are lucky and find on-street parking).

The location was perfect for us - only a short way from the town centre with amazing views of the estuary and bridge. Our room was very well/tastefully decorated and the bathroom was huge! The chocolate brownies and sweets that were in our room were a really delicious treat. Brad and Phillipa were excellent hosts and the breakfasts (which we had in our room) were outstanding!

The weather! We were lucky on the first day but the rain hit on day 2 but the view from the room was ever changing so that was a bonus! Could have done with some shower gel or bubble bath though in an ideal world.

The location was perfect overlooking Barmouth Bridge, the Estuary and the sea. Close enough to walk into the town and we found parking opposite the accommodation which was a bonus. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything needed for a really relaxing stay. Bed was so comfortable after a long day of walking and complimentary tea and coffee was most welcome .. as were the gorgeous treats in the room. Liked that it is child and dog free which suited us and the guest room downstairs was a lovely addition with an honesty tab for drinks.

Everything. Our stay was amazing. Great location. Fantastic friendly owners . Breakfast was cooked to perfection. Our room was very clean & tidy, decor was of a high standard, room with a view was an understatement! Tea & Coffee in room also, Bathroom had an amazing bath tub with a shower and was lovely and spacious. The bed was also so comfortable ( I didn't want to get out of it ) 😊. Our stay at No6 was incredible & may I add we definitely will be returning. Many Thanks indeed to Phillipa & Brad for our stay .

This is a fabulous bed and breakfast in every sense. A beautiful and spacious bedroom, with a large en suite featuring a great shower plus separate bath. Amazing breakfasts, fresh ingredients cooked to perfection. The views from the bedroom and the front terrace area were stunning - looking out over the estuary, the iconic bridge, and to the mountains beyond. Philippa and Brad were perfect hosts, friendly, helpful and attentive.

A fantastic location - directly opposite the estuary and a 5 minute walk into the town The house and room were lovely - clean, spacious, stylish and comfortable. We were welcomed with cakes, sweets and bottled water. The brownies were amazing!! The view from the room was second to none - mountains, woods, sea and river estuary. We felt relaxed straight away. Philippa and Brad were very accommodating and friendly. They suggested places to eat and visit which was really helpful. A trip to Fanny Talbot’s is highly recommended. The breakfast was made to order and filled us up for the whole day - all lovely! Thank you for a great visit - we’ll be back.

From the moment we arrived, when we were met by Brad the host we felt welcome and that care would be taken to make us comfortable. This proved fully to be the case.. Nothing was too much trouble to that end. A deliberate decision to concentrate on a small number of guests means that they can have the best and individual attention. The breakfast was delicious, our room, with a delightful view over the estuary was large and comfortable and we had a really lovely stay. We would thoroughly recommend No.6 as somewhere to spend a few nights to explore Barmouth and the beautiful surrounding area.

I rarely take the time to review stuff, but in this case I have to make an exception. This B&B was hands down one of the best places we‘ve ever stayed in. Brad and Philippa are so welcoming and master the balance between being helpful and always up for a chat - and never being intrusive at the same time. Rooms are big and tasteful, the ocean view is stunning, the town is just around the corner and breakfast is fresh and delicious. All for an extremely fair price. Highly recommended!

Parking is along the street and official Spots can be hard to find. It was fine in the end though as there are always solutions.
