Fantastic location great to watch the wildlife in the back garden or via a live feed to the tv in your bedroom. Met by David who, with Charlotte had provided an excellent Visitors Pack prior to our visit. Lovely building, our bedroom was big enough for our stay given that we were on a walking trip. Clean and tidy with fridge, tea, coffee etc. Breakfast arrived on a trolley each morning and we were able to eat at the table in the room looking through the windows into the garden. It was fresh and plentiful.
Didn't realise that the bathroom was separate to the room. It was for just our use and fortunately for other guests no-one saw us nipping to the loo in our pants. Too much information?

Lovely, peaceful 2 night stay at quirky, characterful B&B. David was very friendly and interesting. The big room and private bathroom were clean. Even though bathroom was across corridor, it was no problem - providing dressing gowns was a good thought though. The bed was really comfortable and the quality bedding and towels were lovely. We really enjoyed sitting at the dining table, in the room, eating our lovely breakfast, brought by David at our chosen time. Great start to the day! Try getting the ferry from Bawdsey Quay to Felixstowe Ferry, having a walk, then lovely lunch at The Ferry Boat Inn, before getting ferry back:) Would recommend Bawdsey Hall, especially if you are in to wildlife.

The room was lovely and comfortable. The wildlife experience was fabulous. Host was friendly and knowledgeable. Building and location were beautiful.
The wrong breakfast was brought to us. It was sorted out swiftly and cheerfully but unfortunately it (including the pot of tea) was barely warm. There is also No way of contacting the staff with an immediate problem ie the breakfast. Ringing and leaving a message is unhelpful in that situation.

It is remote, and beautiful. View into the garden to watch the badgers at night and hear the owls - wonderful. We never saw the owners, which suited us perfectly, it felt like being at home. Easy system to access the room. Space for parking. Big table in the room for breakfast delivered to door and it was very good breakfast. Huge room, so much space. Big windows into the garden. Bathroom across the hall also huge, yes you need to exit your room but it is 4 steps away. This place is special and we will definitely stay here again when next in the area.
Very little to say here. It was a little tricky to find although not all that bad but would have been worse in the dark. The front door is a bit tricky to open and heavy. It is a drive to the nearest place to eat so keep that in mind. This place is magical.

Loved being able to see badgers, owls, polecats & muntjacks from the bedroom window. Loved the quality and comfort of the furnishings in the room. Loved the peaceful location. The breakfast was first class. The owner was very welcoming, helpful, knowledgeable & let us enjoy our stay in peace. I am confident that had there been anything we needed to speak about during our stay they would have been available. The guidebooks were useful - we went to the Ramsholt Arms and had a really nice meal there.

It was different. We had a large bedroom overlooking the garden. It was close to Bawdsey Quay where we needed to be the next day
I would prefer to have an en-suite bathroom. Also I felt that the breakfast choices were very limited

A very nice location opportunity to go and see the wildlife close up with a expert for a additional cost live webcam on the TV and a super quiet location you can’t go wrong
Nothing all good as far as I am concerned

Beautiful location, very comfortable room, excellent view from our window of the garden, delicious English breakfast delivered by trolley in the morning which was a nice touch so that we could enjoy the garden (and in particular the squirrels playing), nice shower too. Unfortunately only stayed one night but staying longer you would be able to make more use of the great walking guide provided.
Used to having an ensuite bathroom but was actually fine crossing the hall and gowns provided too.

The wildlife on site is something else and there was a constant stream of different wildlife. Either viewed from our window or the wildlife camera streamed to our room. Lots of lovely walks in the area too.
Cooked breakfast was lovely but got cold quick.
