Lovely new hotel. Good sleep quality due to comfy beds & no hotel noise. Good quality toiletries. Room size was larger than most. Location 5min walk from Central pier. Multistorey carpark (Talbot Rd) directly opposite hotel.

More expensive than most. Provided with a twin room & not the double I requested. Reception team member (Samantha) said she couldn't swap due none being available. She presented as being indifferent & completely disinterested, not even taking the time to check her computer. I was accepting of her response until I later spoke to a fellow traveller who said she had requested a twin room & had been allocated a double.

Everything from checking in bar staff housekeeping was bang on stunning building inside & out well run hotel well organised. Well looked after everything you want in a room peaceful & quite which is very relaxing atmosphere. The drinks in the bar were nicely served lovely seating area with live music DJ Saturday night live singer on Sunday Excellent all round

We didn't just like it we LOVED our stay..we was welcomed on arrival by a warm welcome and a mulled wine and mince pie the smell has you enter the hotel is divine ... our room was absolutely stunning the view out our window was of the tower the room was well equipped and spotlessly clean .. Christmas morning we found a stocking hung on our door with dominoes an orange and chocolate coins lovely thought...even santa had left his footprints in the hallway and in the entrance such a lovely touch... the breakfast was lovely lots of choice the hosts was very polite and welcoming....the car park is just over the road and is discounted which is a bonus ...this is our new go to hotel from now on very central and close to everything

Location. Modern rooms. Quality breakfast. Attentive staff in reception. Young lad in restaurant was great.

Room was too hot, air con only drops to 19 degrees with windows not been able to open. Marco’s restaurant lost our booking for New Year’s Eve which was made two days prior, with the guy in charge of the restaurant being dismissive and rude. Rude barman knowingly giving flat Prosecco and didn’t seem to care. That being said, we now know to ask for a fan for the room, and keep clear of disappointing areas such as bar and restaurant.

Hôtel was well situated if traveling by train, next to the station. Electric trams are located outside of the hotel. The hotel was new and very clean and well equipped. The breakfast offered an excellent choice of a buffet style hot and cold, the hot breakfast was hot and not tepid as in other hotels. The breakfast team were very pleasant and smiley, which made us feel very welcome

No parking, which for us wasn't a problem because between the end of November and before Easter it is possible to park for free within a 5min walk or a secure carpark opposite the hotel. When we arrived, the receptionist made us wait till 3pm, although the room would of been ready and she never told us times or where to go for breakfast.

Clean, fresh, quiet and everything worked as you’d expect.

Talbot st car park situation - the entrance is narrow I’d bet you’d struggle to get a big car through the shutter, also something it doesn’t state in the car park on any signs (that I saw) once you’ve put your yellow chipcoin in the machine and paid, it comes back out of the machine, you need it to put n at the exit barrier, I walked off after payment without it and realised at the exit I was meant to keep hold of it, several intercom calls later they let me out, lost coins is a £30 fee, I’d already paid my £12 but luckily my card payment was verified and I didn’t have to pay the loss fee.

I like the fitness room.. The Staff were great.11 am checkout. WiFi was easy. The room was very nice. No noise problems. Location great. Shower was easy to use. TV was good. Good easy to use safe. Liked the view over the station and Sainsbury's.

Bit annoyed that only one running machine. New hotel but carpets etc beginning to get a bit dirty. Kettle was posh but a bit plasticity. Was a room on second floor equipped for disabled, but had been a fire alarm a few days earlier. Not sure that there is a ramp so wheelchair users would have to go to rescue area in the stair wells. TV didn't have the news channels I like to watch, but could watch them via internet.

Quality and size of the room - (superior king)it was suberbly arranged with every facility thought of and provided. 5* Also staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was excellent for us.

We dined in the restaurant one evening (Marco Pierre White) we were very disappointed 😞 The portion size was ridiculously tiny - my chicken breast was the size of a pigeon! With any additional accompaniments being charged as extras - it was definitely not value for money for the amount it cost, in fact my partner who is a small eater, actually went across to the supermarket opposite to get a sandwich to eat after we left the restaurant!! Also the breakfast was chaotic in the restaurant area. More breakfast tables are needed and the ‘flow’ of the self service area needs a rethink as it is dangerous!

I loooove the rooms, they are spacious and they make you feel so relaxed. I love that they provided hot cocoa sachets in the tea counter. The mini fridge also has crisps and candy for you along with water, which also I found really sweet. The rooms are comfy, the table and chair was perfect for me since I was attending online classes. The staff is very friendly and helpful too. The Sainsbury's being across the street was a whole blessing on its own!

I think the wifi strength definitely changes from room to room, my first stay the wifi was top notch but the second time around the wifi was very unstable. I could deal with it on my laptop to some extent but on my phone it was too choppy. Ah well, you win some you lose some

I was able to check in half an hour early, which was greatly appreciated. I loved the modern feel to the room. It was also nice and light and airy. With plenty of storage space. And a fab sofa to sit on. The staff are always very nice too. They acknowledged that I was a member. Which was nice. The bathroom extraction fan is brilliant. It keeps the bathroom steam free. Ideal when ur doing your makeup after your shower. The shower was also lovely and roomy with great water pressure.

The mattress protector in room 302 had a stain on it. It made me a little bit uncomfortable as u don't know what the stain is. Hopefully just water.
