Me and my wife booked the Boston West Hotel to visit family in Lincolnshire over the Xmas period, we have stayed in several local hotels over many years and have always found it difficult to find somewhere which was clean with modern facilities - although this was a few miles further from my relatives (obviously our choice) we were extremely impressed with the Boston West. We booked an upstairs room with a balcony and the room was clean and large with a good bed and bathroom/shower, the Wifi was free and seemed very fast. The restaurant on site was closed while we were there, however this aside we had a very comfortable stay - we'll definitely be using the BWH next time we visit.

The room was nicely located and easily accessible with good facilities. Once the room got warm it was comfortable. Food in the golf course bar was exceptional (the mushroom pasta was incredible) Staff were very friendly and accommodating (especially when ordering a cocktail not on the menu) Reception welcome was very informative and we were even offered an umbrella on the last night to get back to the room due to weather.

Bed was a little hard and there were a small number or cobwebs in the corner of the room. Room did cool quickly when heater was not on.

The superior kingsize room with a balcony was lovely, clean and comfortable. It overlooked the golf course which in the summer would be lovely to sit out in the evening with a glass of wine. I liked the fact there were plug sockets and a mirror above the dressing table and the easy chair was a delight. The bathroom was clean and as a bigger person I was impressed that the bath towel was big enough to go around my body. The food in the bar/restaurant in the evening was great quality and value and the staff were courteous and helpful

As we stayed in the week there was no breakfast facilities - I assume this is because we are now out of season. This is the only reason I gave a 9 and not a 10.

Room was clean and the condiments were very good. Towels and soap are a nice addition. Limescale in kettle required several flushes to clear. I required the use of the toilet about 1.30 am only to find all power off and no lights available. The power itself did not come back on until early morning ,by which time too late for early morning cuppa, We went slightly early to the restaurant only to find no one around as service was supposed to start at 9. we left at 9.05 without breakfast as no one-looked to be making an effort and explain what the procedure would be.

Explanation of how door card works and how its use to provide lights and bathroom /TV services. Notice of where to assemble in emergency . (oh there is a safety aspect too ,if power is cut during the night to save electricty

Great little hotel located in a nice countryside setting. The room was very clean and well presented. Staff were very accommodating and were very friendly

The room refresh lacked a little, would have been nice to get back to the bed all made up, but very minor. The bingo felt lacking. £3 a strip with well over 100 strips sold but the prizes were a few £1 Easter eggs for a line, and an Easter hamper with a rough value of £30 for a full house. I would have liked to seen a better prize. The game was also too fast and so overall, not pleasurable.

The room was absolutely delightful and lived up to our expectations. The views from our window were wonderful and it was great that we could sit out on our balcony, watching the golfers tee off. The bed was huge. It was lovely that a fan was provided in the room as it was quite warm when we stayed. The staff were friendly and helpful. We used the restaurant on both evenings of our stay and the food was tasty and well priced.

The heat hit you as you walked into the hotel, fortunately this was only in the corridor area and not in the room. Our bed was rather hard and the pillows were not very soft either.

The room itself was larger than expected and the beds were so comfy and also bigger than expected. The staff were all lovely and welcoming and even when we had an issue when we first arrived it was quickly dealt with and fixed. We had a lovely family walk in the evening, the surrounding grounds are gorgeous and you feel completely out of the way and wouldn't think you were near a main road at all. It was great to see the wildlife roaming freely and happily. Breakfast was amazing and the onsite facilities were great. We will definitely be back again!

The only issue we had was the key card electric port thing wasn't working when we first arrived so we had no lights but after a phonecall this was quickly fixed and corrected and we couldn't fault the staff members at all!

The staff were a great help! I spoke to Tracey on the phone about travelling late and she reassured us we would still be able to check in and that she had let the security team know our rought ETA. We arrived really late in the night (3am) and had a really helpful staff member who helped us check in smoothly which we were grateful for as we were so tired. He was friendly and kind but we didn't catch his name! The room was large and the bed was enormous and comfy! We had to be up early to get ready for a wedding and having such a large room was helpful as I'm 8 months pregnant and not great with small spaces at the moment...!

The room was quite stuffy and hot but we may have been able to change that ourselves but couldn't find the temp settings.

room was fresh & bright, the bed comfortable too. the shower was nice with lots of hot water. The best bit was the cooked breakfast I had the vegan option & it was Delicious I said to the girl to tell the person who made it to thank them.

id ordered food using the app, which was very easy to use. however when I kept using the link to check the progress it never updated to say it was ready. In the end I walked over to the restaurant & it was ready & waiting for me. No big deal but going forward I think this needs to be checked.

Check in at the Golf Club was quick, friendly and efficient. Evening meal in the bar was freshly cooked and tasty. Room was large, well-furnished and clean with a large comfortable bed.

It is a slightly quirky set up with the hotel set on a holiday park and the hotel itself is not that attractive! However, the rooms are fantastic, but not what you expect from the outside! The bathroom was slightly dated and in need of a refresh like the bedroom had received!
