Blanch House was lovely, some really great touches, well thought through. Check in was quick and easy, the room well decorated and lovely. The homemade biscuits were a lovely extra. Close to the centre to walk so very convenient. Good shower in the morning. Room was compact but had everything and price reflected this.

The parking was stressful as we couldn't find anywhere initially but we eventually did along the seafront and in the end it worked out well as we could pay online for or hour in the morning. The room we had backed on to a pub garden which was a little noisy. Thankfully it didn't stay open really late.

The rooms(we had 4 booked) were beautifully decorated,very comfortable and refreshingly very different.The breakfast was delicious, catering for all our dietary requirements perfectly and the lady preparing and serving it was lovely(Valentina).The location was perfect, a stones throw from the beach and a short walk to the centre of the town.However the highlight of our stay was the hospitality of two members of staff,Janet and Lydia who really made our stay very special.Nothing was too much trouble for them,we were looked after so well, they were brilliant hosts

Did not have breakfast as there was no English breakfast available Location excellent Bed not that comfortable, had bad back ack for the 2 night stay Room was very dark to dark for the size and felt dirty but was clean I think due to not alot of light it looked dirty and old Very clean , friendly staff Cleaner have me belongings that I had left was ever so greatful shelf in bathroom kept falling down , one day it will smash needs replacing Shower head was dirty with lime scale , the shower would be alot powerful if you applied a new head for the shower. Thank you

Having time alone in a quite room with a great location for relaxing . worth going to the hotel just stay in the macaroon room way to dark

Friendly communication on booking and a warm welcome on arrival and throughout stay. All staff were helpful and courteous. Room was compact, clean and well equipped. Bed was large and comfortable (Harlequin room). Fan/AC provided in room and was effective. Bathroom was small but shower worked well, good water pressure. Shampoo (no conditioner) and shower gel provided. Tea/coffee/milk restocked promptly upon request. Breakfast was fresh, tasty and plentiful. Great location, an easy 20-minute walk from the railway station, very close to the seafront and to the main Pier (£1 entry fee), plenty of cafés, restaurants, shops, within walking distance. Would happily stay again.

Would be convenient to have a dedicated plug socket or extension lead to reach the tea/coffee tray. The view was the back of neighbouring buildings. A sheer/lightweight curtain (in addition to the usual heavier curtains) would add more privacy. Would advise bringing earplugs if bothered by the sound of seagulls, as they wake early. We came prepared! [Not at the property itself, but unfortunately, there was some noisy building work in progress at a neighbouring house. It finished at 4pm and started at 8am so was bearable]. Overall we had a lovely stay and none of the above would deter us from booking again in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and large enough for two adults to navigate. The quirky themes (eg: Snowstorm with the snow cones) were quaint given the traditional sea side setting. The location was excellent for Brighton Pier and the beach. The continental breakfast was very good and the staff member serving was excellent. Would highly recommend.

It was quite a walk into the main centre of Brighton, with many steep inclines along the way. That said, there were buses available along the main promenade.

Stylish but relaxing vibe. Extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming team. Great location. Much quieter than expected (didn't hear the main road at all). Simple but tasty choices at breakfast. And a very comfy bed and good nights sleep! Will definitely stay again.

Just occasionally, style took preference over practicality. Drink making tray in the cupboard. Bin no where near the tea making. Hair dryer cable too short to see in mirror. Bathroom shelf too small for wash bag. Kettle not easy to fill from sink. - But these are minor niggles, and common issues with most places I've stayed. Absolutely wouldn't stop me staying again. Had a lovely visit!!!

Stunning rooms, staff were very attentive, professional yet welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was continental, basic but great value in all for the room and breakfast.

I don’t think there was anything I disliked, the water pressure in the shower wasn’t fantastic but it wasn’t in no way terrible. We had an iron but we didn’t have an ironing board but I should imagined if we asked for one no doubt they would’ve bought one up so this wasn’t an issue,

The staff were exceptional.the small detail like walking us to our room. Going through all the details in the room. The reception area had a nice bar in it. The decor was very welcoming and cosy. Loved the little details in the room, having a robe, ironing board, iron in the room. The bed was so comfy.. I think k it should be a 4 star, not 3 star. Excellent location, very close to the beach.

There was only 2 things that are a slight negative. The first is the room we stayed in the Orchid was a tad on the small size. It was adequate and certainly did the job. We just would have liked an extra food around the bed. But it wouldn't stop us staying there. The second thing was the Breakfast was only continental. Which again was more than adequate. But when we go away we just prefer a cooked breakfast.

Great location, lovely staff and the rooms were clean with a well thought out welcome (staff show you to the room and nice fresh baked biscuits). Liked the themed rooms too. Really enjoyed the breakfast, even though it's basic (cereal or bread items) it's more than enough to fill you up to start the day and the fresh baked croissants and pan au chocolat are a great addition.

My room (Alice), backed onto the beer garden of a local pub, so the noise went on reasonably late but seemed to calm down before midnight. I was there during the week so probably less people, not sure what it would be like on the weekend or if the hotel has an agreement with the pub to ask people to move inside at a reasonable hour. Bring earplugs! Worked ok for me using those.

a really quirky little bold-hole, snuggled close to the beach but away from the busy part of town, the staff were very friendly and helpful, very comfortable beds and lovely shower gel and shampoo, the homemade biscuits are a special finishing touch.

was only let down by the poor breakfast, little choice and and quality we lower than expected after enjoying the homemade biscuits which were free in the room, with a little more thought on quality and range of choice at breakfast this little hotel would go down as one of my favourite costal getaways
