Breakfast was good, but bacon was underdone. Would be helpful to know if omelettes available. Room was spacious but sound insulation poor, doors banging and flooring creaking, much noise bridging and transference. Was not clear if lifts were available, needs to be made more clear.

The noise from doors banging. The ventilation system needs working on to get the balance right. Little jobs outstanding, like the shower screen hinge not fully fastened, board concealing pipe work not affixed, could fall on someone’s foot. The small o e percenters that have a big impact but low cost. After reception with great greeting and enthusiasm, the remaining staff hospitality is inconsistent, need to work on your staff culture and values as there is an inconsistent message of people not wanting to work there.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. Asked for an upgrade as first room was two flights of stairs down and window was facing a wall. Had a lovely meal in the restaurant on the last night which was excellent. Only had breakfast the last morning which was nice with a good variety.

Not mentioned on the website, but two flights of stairs making it difficult for people with disabilities.

Great hotel, undergoing a refurbishment when we visited. Once the refurbishment is complete we would definitely stay again! Our room was tricky to get to, due to building work obstructing the normal route, better signage would have been helpful! Comfy bed, good breakfast and all staff super helpful and friendly. The room was clean, but tired (especially the bathroom) which will doubtless be addressed in the refurb. The room was very hot for our October stay (air con due as part of the refurb). The adjoining 'Clocktower' pub restaurant is good value for a meal, (just don't expect any salad options!) The option of using the hotel pool whilst staying was a bonus!

This was an excellent place to stay. The staff were really friendly and all facilities exceeded our expectations. The bedroom was clean and comfortable. We had a dog with us and there was plenty of room to put his crate for the night. Also, the staff went out of their way to say we could have breakfast upstairs in the bar area with our dog. Upon arrival we had cookies given to us! A real treat! Our overall impression is that this is a happy place for staff to work as they were all so courteous, friendly and went out of their way to look after their customers. A big thank you for this.

It was all excellent. There was nothing not to like!

We came to stay on Thursday 21st November for our son's Graduation the next day at Cheltenham Racecourse. The hotel was lovely and the best part was that we had an additional bed in our room for our son which made it such a lovely time together to celebrate the end of his university time. We enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant as it was freezing cold and we did not want to venture into town as it was so cold. We are glad we did because the meal was excellent.

We would have preferred not to have machines for the tea and coffee. Other than that, everything was excellent.

Check in and out times are very good, midday is very good compared to many hotels. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated that there were black out curtains in the room. There were a variety of lighting options. On arrival I was offered a hot choc chip cookie which was lovely. The tea and coffee tray had nice Taylor's coffee bags and quality teas...the room was a king, and spacious... There was a comfy arm chair... The toiletries in the bathroom were nice quality and stylish dispensers. Everything was very nice and clean. The decor was stylish. The receptionists on both check in and out were really personable people, made me feel welcomed. I didn't get to use the spa but it looked good. The location is also very good, being in a nice part of Cheltenham. Not too central so nice and quiet but very Accessible.

I wanted to stay and extra night but they were booked up.

The room was spacious, king size bed for myself. The shower was at just the right temperature. The Spa was quite relaxing. The breakfast was good and complete with many variety of food to choose from. There were Lidl and sainsbury close by. It was a nice short vacation for myself. A couple days away from the hazzle and buzzle of rat race of London helps to give a sense of normality back again.

I still have to get a taxi from Cheltham spa (Cheltham spa railway station) to the hotel and when i have to return to London. I visited the town centre next day and took me 51 minutes as it is about 3.5 miles away from the hotel. I could have booked a scooter which I could hired as I saw it after walking past sainsbury supermarket 15 minutes down the road.

Breakfast was buffet style and tasted lovely, although rather chaotic at the counters. Beautiful grounds and room. Made use of the pool facilities, which included jacuzzi, steam room and sauna. The trunks drying machine in the changing rooms was a novel touch!

I was a little disappointed with the restaurant offerings at dinner. Whilst my wife enjoyed her fish and chips, I felt that my lamb cutlets were overpriced for what I received - the meat was pretty well done as well. Overall the restaurant was a bit too expensive. Better value and decent food next door in the non-affiliated Clock Tower pub.

Reception staff were excellent and very welcoming.- cookies were very tasty, too! Swimming Pool was fine and easy to access. Room was a good size and the bed was very comfy, too! Location was handy for Cheltenham and Gloucester and being not too far from the A40 was helpful. Handy to have the Clock Tower pub next door, which was very acceptable and had an interesting layout.

Area near room looked in need of a refurb fairly soon - paint and carpet need refreshing. Room paintwork was in need of attention and the plumbing in that area of the building needs to be renovated - bathroom sink gurgled for a long while after use and Shower suddenly started pouring when a nearby room's shower was used. No working extractor fan in bathroom, either. Sadly, the Restaurant menu had very few items suitable for my wife and her food issues, so we had to celebrate our first wedding anniversary dinner in the pub next door! Not quite as we had envisaged our celebrations to be, but there you go!

Lovely friendly welcoming staff room size very spacious great they also had a pub just across the way parking great felt comfortable leaving car there bus stop just down the road so great when getting into town we visited broughton on the water so pretty beautiful just a 20 minute drive away so great location 😊

Felt breakfast was a little light on Continental not enough choice plus we didn’t get asked if we would like full breakfast or just continental we had to specifically say so we’re not given option price depending pillows in room could of been a little firmer but that’s down to the individual I guess 😊
