Easy check in with a lovely member of staff. Room was great with toiletries, tea, coffee, water & biscuits. Bed was really comfortable too. Fantastic location.

Water wouldn’t drain in the shower so you could only shower for a couple of minutes or it would have overflowed. Annoying especially as previous people have reported this issue already in visitors book & on these reviews. Room 3 was also above kitchen so fans could be heard up to 10pm - not a major issue for us though. The other main problem was the church bells ringing every hour throughout the night. By 6am with 6 dings I gave up with trying to sleep! If I had known about this I would have willingly paid more for a different room.

Excellent location with the view out the window of the church. Plenty of space in the room. Modern decoration and facilities. Rooms located above a lovely cosy pub. No sound could be heard in the rooms from the pub. Excellent food available too.

Only issue would be no parking on site, but depending on time of year for availability, it’s close to the main town car park with 24 hour parking and out of summer season, free 24 hour parking is available on the quayside in the town.

Excellent location, good size room and bathroom, very comfortable bed. Very helpful staff (especially the chef when we checked out). Enjoyed a drink in the bar - great local beers on offer.

Our room was directly above the kitchen and the noise from the extractor system was very intrusive while the kitchen was open, but it had shut by the time we went to bed. This might make us think twice about returning.

Stayed at the seven Stars 4 times and it is still one of my favourite places ,staff are wonderful , food in the great and large portions , bed in room 6 where we normally stay is super comfy the Pub is located in the middle of the town so is a perfect location , next to the church so you will hear the bells

Seagulls - but as we are visitors , think they have the upper hand on our first 2 stays there was always a small breakfast basket , cereals and yogurts which was a lovely touch but this has stopped now , there is still fresh milk in the mini fridge which is great and accompanies the well stocked tea and coffee tray

The room, comfy bed, milk in the fridge and the pub itself were all very good and the evening meal we had their was also great. They didn't offer breakfast, however there were some good cafes nearby that did, so all very good

The paid for parking was relatively close, but the explanation of what it was called could have been more specific. Did give me a map, but had to phone to confirm I was in the right place. Slightly beeter instructions would have solved.

The pub itself is cosy and inviting. We stayed in room 5, the room was very large, lovely decor, and clean. The en-suite was lovely with a great shower and heated towel rail. Some reviewers mention the church bells disturbing their sleep but we didn’t find this a problem at all.

There was a small fridge in the room which smelt very musty. There are lots of narrow stairs up to the room and lots of heavy fire doors to open. It was very expensive considering there was no breakfast.

Location was excellent. Facilities in room were good but a couple of chairs would have been good. Excellent shower.

Car Parking. We were offered parking by Pub at £15 a day which was too expensive. We ended up playing Shuffle between Car Park and overnight on street parking which was annoying but saved almost £20 for 2 days? £10 a day would have been reasonable.

great central location soft towels and good pillows friendly complimentary water and range of teas

an extra dining chair would have been helpful and enough room for it in No 3 the fact that there is NO breakfast at all that there is not yet a system where by you can ask to REUSE towels - such a waste of water a heated towel rail which work independently would be useful

The location is perfect and the pub is nice and cozy. We really enjoyed being able to have a couple of pints and then just walk upstairs.

Unfortunately one of the bartenders was being rather neglectful to most of the patrons. He (long hair) was constantly talking with his friend (Pink hair) who was sitting at the bar. I watched one couple walk out after being ignored, and other guests needed to yell to get his attention. Very unprofessional. The other bartender was amazing.

Location was great, in the centre of town. Food was very good although they don’t provide breakfast. Newly refurbished bathroom with decent shower.

Stairs were narrow which was difficult with cases, but understandable considering age of property. Parking is provided but a 10 min walk from the property. However, we know that parking is a premium in Dartmouth so didn’t bother us.
