I stayed for three nights for a short relaxing break. The accommodation was superb and far exceeded my expectations. The beautiful room I was given was spotlessly clean and well-heated. There were tea and coffee-making facilities in the room and the shower was pristine. It had incredible views of Dundrum Bay and was near all local amenities. The staff were lightning fast to respond to any of my queries. This is a lovely, peaceful place to stay for any nature lover. The local town is very friendly and welcoming. This has honestly been one of the nicest breaks I have had in years. I would thoroughly recommend Rooms@Mourne. Thank you for such a lovely stay! -Roisin

I wouldn't change a thing!

Easy check-in process, staff were very responsive for when we needed anything, room was comfortable and wifi was great. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in. Location was a convenient drive to nearby Ballynahinch for coffee, and Newcastle for dinner and icecream. Eqsy drive to Belfast.

Things that could have made the stay more comfortable: hooks for towels (there was nowhere to hang our towel to dry, we had to improvise)and an armchair or two would have been nice when relaxing in the room (in addition to chair at desk). We stayed four nights, 1st was nice, 2nd there were other guests on our floor who we could hear word for word (it was evident they were just very loud, owners had a talk to them and then they were quiet (from 1:30am), and other nights we didn’t hear other guests who were staying on the same floor), and nights 3 and 4 were very pleasant.

Very central, clean comfortable, good facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Check in a little Chaotic. Booking.com sent the wrong access numbers. Staff in restaurant had to help but obviously they had to sort own work in restaurant first. Maybe if an envelope with keys and instructions were left in restaurant just to be collected maybe a better system

We had two windows wide open with a glimpse of the sea, quiet at the back of the building. It was a last minute room booking after climbing Slieve Donard. Hot and sweaty from the mountain this was the perfect rest stop for a shower, relaxing night and sleep. We didn’t eat in the Mourne seafood bar (fully booked) but their excellent takeaway across the road was perfect after our day on the mountain, we didn’t want a big feed or to get dressed up. The shared kitchen was convenient! Spar next door has a very good range of groceries. It would be a good base for a few days exploring the area.

This is a large property in centre of town.It has clearly been recently renovated and redecorated to a high standard.. The rooms are all large with high ceilings and are freshly decorated and spotlessly clean, with ensuite and tea / coffee making facilities. Super comfortable modern bed. There is an excellent shared lounge with a very large modern TV with Network access. There is also an excellently equipped shared kitchen. I booked within hours before arriving (having been let down with another booking) which made timely communication a bit difficult for both sides. But staff on site sorted me out and Chris and Aiden updated me as necessary. I was staying the night before a Triathlon race at nearby Castlewellan - the accommodation more than met all my needs. I will happily stay there again if I am in the area / doing a similar event and I am very happy to recommend.

Nothing - everything to my satisfaction

Good location in the town near Dundrum Castle.. Lovely old Georgian house.Self check in, so don't meet staff really but can gain access when required. Parking fine. Communal kitchen and tv room great. Check out until 12 noon very handy. It's pet friendly, which is a super option for us and others.

Had to ask another guest for WiFi code. They said it was in the TV room. Convenient if it was easier to find, like in each bedroom.

On the Main Road in Dundrum with convenient parking immediately behind in a rear lane, I parked a long wheelbase minibus there without any problems.

Unfortunately the village is dead on a Tuesday with all the restaurants closed! The nearest place to eat was probably Maghera however we went to Newcastle. The house is showing signs of neglect with a number of the original Georgian windows rotted and secondary flimsy glazing internally. Unfortunately the planners have a high say in preserving original features which are uniquely expensive and the owner's simply can't afford to replace rotted window frames.

Location was good for our short stay for the Irish Open. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Scenery in this area is fabulous. Big plus was the Mourne Seafood restaurant next door - fabulous food.

This was bed only accommodation with access to kitchen/dining/living room. Standard was good if paying around €150 p/n for the room. I paid €300 per night which was way too much for this standard of accommodation.

Very good location. Lovely old building but has been refurbished well. Room was comfortable and the staff member we spoke to was very welcoming. Kitchen facilities were good as well. Would rebook if we ever return to Dundrum.

Call the pub before arriving to check they are serving food - or you may have to just use the Spar and self cater. Fish and chips were good though:-)
