The breakfast was excellent, the room very nice and very clean. The location was stunning. The staff extremely helpful and friendly.

Sadly the hotel was empty, very few guests. Consequently we come back 9.30pm one night hoping for a drink on the beautiful veranda, but the bar had already been shut up.

Tranquil and attractive location with pleasant views across rolling landscape to distant sea. Comfortable distance from Falmouth to be adequately close but surrounded by quiet green countryside. Minimal unwanted awareness of other guests. Pleasant well kept facilities within our accommodation, and the main building, and exterior. Plenty of onsite parking.

On arrival there was a significant aroma of rancid grey-water - (maybe a problem with wastepipes from handbasin or shower - my guess). The team made an effort to rectify this but there was an ongoing slight awareness of it. It is hoped the cause and solution will soon be found and applied to avoid inconvenience to future guests.

On arrival the car park and gardens looked uncared for and could do with a bit of attention but once inside the staff were lovely, the property clean and we had everything that you would expect with a hotel stay

The grounds needed attention as first impressions stick. The car park and garden area looked uncared for. This was at odds with the inside which had a unique feel about it.

Fabulous view from the front of the house with a lovely decking area. Large grounds in which to have a walk. Relaxing and great for dog owners as the dog is allowed in all areas. Neil was really attentive and made us so welcome. The king size bed was very comfortable and the room spacious and spotless with a lovely new shower room. We had an excellent evening meal and the breakfast was good.

Not much, it was just perfect for us. To be really picky, the atmosphere at breakfast was a bit bleak with the distant radio coming from the kitchen. On the first morning there was no fruit or yoghurt. The cooked breakfast was good though.

It is set in a beautiful location with views down to the sea and beach. It is quiet at all times of the day and night. The staff were very friendly and attentive and nothing was too much for them. Loved having gin and tonics on the deck overlooking the gardens and the sea view.

The bed was a little too small. There was an outside light that shone through to our room and caused me some problems sleeping. The shower was a little bit basic.

I stayed in one of hotel's cottages. It was well equipped and provided a great base to visit Falmouth and surrounding area

Would be helpful to have a plastic or glass bowl for microwave - a minor point though

This is a beautiful hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the staff welcoming and friendly and the food delicious. The views from the garden are delightful looking across the countryside to the sea. We would love to stay with you again.

Everything was great, 'the stables' was clean tidy, comfortable, warm and spacious for our family of 4. A pieceful, quite location with some lovely views and walks.

Not much really. If I was nit picking the WiFi signal could be stronger in 'the stables', but as we don't use the Internet much it didn't really matter. Lastly, again a very small improvement, a large saucepan with lid in the kitchen would make cooking easier. That said there was enough kit to prepare and cook 3 simple meals.

The hotel went out of its way to organise interesting gluten free options for our stay and the meals were excellent. The opportunity to order a daily newspaper was a lovely addition to the holiday. The hotel has some delightful paintings by a renown local artist which add greatly to the ambience of the hotel. Staff were very knowledgeable about the local area and provided advice regarding good locations, parking etc.

Nothing! Everything was delightful, well organised and the staff go out of their way to ensure visitor satisfaction. at Penmorvah Manor.

Very tasty breakfast,, All staff very friendly and professional. The Reception staff were lovely and very helpful and could not do enough for you.
