The room was very comfortable and clean. The room had its own front door on the ground floor - very accessible for our needs and it had its own little veranda with table. The room seemed to be quite well insulated from noise outside. Comfortable bed and table-space inside as well as outside. Good tea and coffee-making equipment. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Answered the phone immediately when we rang to say we would be arriving a bit late. We didn't use the other facilities (e.g. breakfast) since we arrived quite late and left early, so we can't comment on those other facilities. There seemed to be plenty of car-parking space (we didn't arrive by car, so we can't comment further). Faversham is nearby and very pretty - good location for people travelling between London and Canterbury/Dover. We will probably stay there again if we are in the area or travelling through.
Everything was fine.

My stay represented excellent value for money for me. I really enjoyed the small private outdoor space that came with my room. Beautiful outlook across open countryside. I was a solo female traveller and the staff were all exceptionally courteous and accommodating. Dinner was delicious and breakfast exceptional. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would recommend to others, and in particular solo travellers who will be very well looked after at Judd's Folly.
Bedside lamps could have been brighter for reading lamps, but I am a reader and others may not be so bothered. Recharge outlets were next to bedside though: really convenient.

-Dog arrival kit, lovely touch -Helpful staff -Nice on site bar -Parking close to accommodation -Quiet site, close to nice visiting spots -Overall good value for money
The first accommodation we were put in was behind the hotel, down a dark non-lit path, and smelt like a poorly ventilated nursing home. However, after we raised our concerns the staff offered us a a different room which was better. We paid for a superior double room because of having our dog. The accommodation was not as expected from the pictures and description on booking.com. This needs to be updated!

The breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. I think they’ve spent quite a lot of money on this place as it’s nicer than it used to be. Good location just outside the village which has a nice pub.
It’s not clear on bookings . Com what rooms you can take a dog to. So naturally I booked the cheapest room. You can’t take dogs to the cheap rooms only to the more expensive ones. Which means you have to change the booking , just more faffing about. They should write on the rooms when you select them whether it’s pet friendly. So the expensive room is a bit more money, taking the dog a bit more money again, add breakfast a bit more money again. Before you know it a £50ish room is £100ish room. I don’t mind these extra payments I’d just like them clear before I book, not after.

As requested, I had a very quiet bungalow around the back of the hotel. Food was good, breakfast excellent, and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at a charity event in the ballroom.
Noisy minibar, which was easy to switch off; clicking noises from the radiator, which I didn't realise had been switched on. The clicking stopped shortly after I turned it off. Breakfast finished at 10.00 even on Sundays, although the hotel allowed us to remain in the breakfast room afterwards.

The staff go above and beyond in their care for guests. You will receive the warmest welcome and nothing is too much trouble; they are very accommodating and incredibly generous. The staff are upbeat and have a great sense of fun; everyone was wearing bunny ears on Easter Sunday! I had my dog and they gave us a lovely gift bag for her and I received an Easter egg. The grounds are stunning and fabulous for walkers. The breakfast choice is excellent and beautifully presented.
The decor is dated in places.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Bedroom and bathroom super. Had everything I needed. Fan, kettle etc
Not sure whether it was me being stupid but I could not control the hot water in the shower. And at 7 am a very hectic gym lesson next door started with loud music and an instructor shouting her instructions which ruined a late sleep in. I did inform reception who said they would deal with both the shower and the gym

The breakfast was exceptional both in quantity, quality and presentation. The chap that was attending (Sorry but did not note his name) to the breakfast service was really outstanding. He was very attentive, without being overpowering, and kept everything in first class order. A true ambassador for the Hotel in every respect.
There was nothing that we found to dislike. When we are in the area again we will stay at 'Judds Folly'

Friendly staff, very accommodating and helpful. Room, ideal, had access to a little terrace. Breakfast was a good choice of fruits, cereals and toast, juices, coffee & teas & a cooked breakfast which was fresh, delicious sausages & perfectly cooked eggs. Our only negative is that the bed was made up of two singles. One was comfortable, the other was lumpy and has had its day. Set back from A2, ideal location. We would stay again.
The bed, a decent king-size, is much better than 2 singles.

The welcome pack for the puppy was a lovely touch. The information regarding when and where we were allowed with the dog and the fact that we could eat with him too was lovely. We were sat away from the other diners, which worked to our benefit as the pup was calm and we didn't have to worry about him jumping on others while we ate. We were also given a room (room 1) which was facing the grounds, on the ground floor and had the parking space right in front - these were all a god send as it meant a quick walk before bed time was within easy access; when we needed to nip to the car because of a forgotten treat bag - it was right there. There was also a little seating area right outside the room. Honestly was such a lovely set up and very welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly too. Everything in the room was compact but well thought out. The fact that there was a little cupboard which housed the tea/coffee things so they weren't out was great as our dog loves to explore. The towels being in the wardrobe worked wonders too. Everything was clean and tidy and hidden. Again we were so thankful as it meant the dog couldn't get to it. The hotel itself was 30mins walk from Faversham village. It was such a good location- we were able to get a dog walk in before getting into town so going to pubs with a tired pup was perfect! Another bonus was the cow shed pub which was half way from the hotel to the village. Great food and dog friendly once again.
Unfortunately the bed was springy and too soft for me so I had a bad night's sleep - however my husband was fine as he doesn't mind soft beds or springs. I would also suggest possibly having closed bins in the room and bathroom due to the dog friendly nature. The hotel as a whole did need some upgrading, the facade was a little disregarded, but given that it's an event venue, I'm guessing it's never the right time to close in order to upgrade.
