I unfortunately booked through Booking.com, therefore did not get the breakfast included. I was unaware that if I booked direct It would be cheaper and include breakfast. Lesson learned. The owners are very welcoming, the food looked and smelled really good. :( I would definitely book again, but direct next time.

Room was very comfy, except for the lack of control over the room heating. The heating is very efficient as it is underfloor heating. For me this was a fraction too warm. But this is not a negative for the owner or accommodation, just a personal issue.

Vale Farm is nicely just off the busy roads in a country lane just outside Higham on The Hill near Nuneaton but still literally only a few minutes from the A5. Ethel was the perfect host and the breakfast was superb with a reasonable choice of options. Although a single traveller myself I had a double room and it was spotless with an extremely comfortable bed. Shower in the wet room was hot and powerful and tea/coffee making facilities provided for a quick cuppa before breakfast, Ethel even asked if I needed anything else.

There’s nothing to dislike to be honest just beware this is a working farm, I didn’t have any disturbance at all from the farm it was very quiet during my stay just don’t be surprised if you’re befriended by the very friendly farm dogs if you’re walking about outside your room, they were extremely happy critters and rather curious. In truth not much reason to be near any of the main farm animals because you can park right outside your room and the bigger livestock are a fair distance away but they were fun to watch from the window.

The host was absolutely incredible she made me feel so at home. Showed me around and where the milk was should I want a hot drink. The property is beautiful I struggle with sleep at the best of times but I honestly had the best sleep I have had in months. So peaceful and relaxing and the room was just beautiful. The bedding smelt incredible! And the farm dogs who are so beautifully behaved and loving we’re a added bonus!

Loved the area very nice and quiet and Elfel the owner is really nice and helpful with great communication throughout. The two lovely black labs that greeted us on arrival was nice and they are big softys that just want some cuddles and maybe a treat 😂 rooms where very clean and under floor heated was lovely will be back again soon.

My stay at Vale Farm was perfect. I was greeted on arrival by my friendly host Ethel and shown to my room which was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything I needed. The bed was very comfortable, there were lots of electric sockets and nice big bath towel. It is a very peaceful place. After I checked out at 10:00 am, Ethel kindly let me stay and eat my breakfast in her breakfast room. Another bonus was being able to park right in front of the room.

First impressions on arrival were very impressive, the owner greeted me warmly and took me to my room which was excellent. Fabulous comfy bed, plenty of tea, coffee and milk.excellent shower and so peaceful. Family live close by so the location was perfect for me. I look forward to returning.

I am a NHS worker, I am burnt out I needed a stay that was peaceful and in the middle of nowhere. Well this was amazing fresh air animals on site but locked away 2 amazing dogs that made me feel secure and safe i would rather trust a animal over human. But my mood was low and I was suffering some form of anxiety the lovely dogs stayed by my side and played... just knowing they are there made it better it really was a amazing stay.Any issues or concerns it’s a phone call and she is there so I would definitely go back. I should have booked 2 days.

Really had a great stay. There's a farming building in one side and all the rooms are on the opposite side, in the courtyard. I got a very small room, as indicated in the description, but it's very comfy and there was all the equipment that I needed. And most of all, it's very quiet. I was fearing that there's a road near the house, but this is a very small one with almost no trafic at night. And all the windows are facing the courtyard, not the road. Possibility to use the fridge in the breakfast room. That's too bad that we can only have breakfast at the B&B (that you need to pay in cash for it, btw.... we can't pay by card) but we can go at the shop or takeaway and bring some food and eat it either in the room or outside on the benches and tables in the courtyard. The owner's dog might want you to share your food with her.... hard to resist ! (lovely dog, no annoying barking at all!) :-)

Loved it here as it was quiet and tucked away and yet near enought to all major roads to make getting around super accessible. The room was really clean with simple yet thoughfully decorated. The bed was really comfortable.The farm buildings renovation provides rooms around the courtyard , which is great as you can park you car outside your room. I didnt have time for breakfast , although the reviews in the visitors book were very postive. However, a selection of breakfast cerals, yogurts , bread for toast and tea and coffee was left out for me to access instead which was really appeciated. I loved cups and saucers not mugs in the room too - a nice touch.

The room is part of a recent conversion of farm outbuildings, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. It’s off the beaten track, in a beautiful part of the country, well suited for a break away from it all. Lovely hosts, very friendly, make sure I had fresh milk, and that I was comfortable in my room.
