Morning staff very attentive and welcoming. Property was clean and close to the airport so Uber in the morning didn’t cost much. Good value for money and would use again.

Shuttle bus service had us waiting upwards of 45 minutes even though the hotel is less than 10 away. Would recommend just using Uber as was only £3 more.

Hotel is 10/15 mins walk from the train station. The room was spotless, a good size and the bed was comfortable. An iron was provided on request. We ate in the restaurant and the meal was lovely. The hotel provided a transfer to Gatwick airport at 4.00am at a small charge.

All staff very friendly and welcoming. Bed comfy. Lasagne lovely. I walked to the Airport in the morning, as I like the fresh air. Just had a rucksack. Be aware takes about 40 minutes.

The staff were all extremely friendly and efficient. The location was excellent and the shuttle bus to and from the airport worked perfectly for us, which was much appreciated seeing as we had very early morning flights!

The convenience!!! £8 per night parking, £12 each way for transfer and a perfectly comfortable night stay. Much more convenient than parking at the airport. Really simple process - especially for our 5.55am flight Very friendly and personable staff

The Corner House Hotel is located very near Gatwick Airport; there is a bus stop a few hundred metres away. It is also in walking distance from Horley centre with pubs and shops. The hotel had a very pleasant atmosphere and my room was clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom (use only for that room) was across the hall) I had a very good evening meal and breakfast there. I used the hotel shuttle to get to the airport which was very convenient. All the staff were pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again in future.

The only small snag was you had to go a short distance outside to get to the block with the room.

Great location and shuttle service to Gatwick made it a great chance for an early flight, when the airport hotel were way too expensive. Short walk from the station, and the shuttle to the airport takes less than 10 mins. Very helpful and friendly stuff, made us feel very welcome. Rooms are very spacious and with a great bed. Bathroom/shower is not the biggest but very good pressure and hot water. Basic toiletries, very good towels, fridge in the room. Overall a very good stay, quite frankly will consider it over the airport hotels, as it's quite easy to reach and rooms are far better

Rooms are relatively basic and a bit dated, but they have all the amenities, are well insulated and allowed us a great sleep

Shuttle van came quickly to get us at Gatwick at 2am.

Room was small, no floor space for luggage. Two beds slept three of us ok.

You can tell it's family run because the staff seemed to care about providing a friendly and hospitable service. The check in and out was good and the reception man personally took me over the road to my room. The house across the road was ideal because it was generally quiet. The room was small but exactly what I needed. The bathroom was clean and perfectly adequate.

The shower could have been stronger. It was not a nice surprise to find that my room did not come with free parking. I understand that much of their trade is holidaymakers who book and pay for car parking while they're away, but people who are resident really ought to get free parking. I would never expect to pay for parking except at an inner city or airport hotel. This is neither.

Gatwick airport hostel works great for an overnight layover in London. It's about 45 minutes walk from the South Terminal and shuttle service is available on demand for 12 pounds per room. The area is nice, a few shops and restaurants of different kinds are within 15 minutes walk, plus they have breakfast service for an extra fee and a bar in the main building.

Charging devices was a bit difficult due to a single unused socket, it'd be nice to have a couple of them available or wall USB charger ports for travellers from other countries.
