My husband and I stayed here for three decadent nights. We love being able to settle in and explore an area without having to check in and check out everyday. The bed and breakfast was exceptional. Breakfast everyday was gourmet and delicious. We love being able to see popular sights without having to deal with tons of tourists. Great views of the North Sea and nice walking trails with rock pools. Location was perfect for getting to the whisky distilleries and the towns of Aviemore, Elgin and Inverness. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast!

Our stay at Sunny Brae was wonderful. John and Rachel were warm and welcoming. John assisted with making dinner reservations (a must in Scotland, as we have come to learn!). The views across to the water were beautiful. Only a short walk on a path along the beach to the port. Breakfast was delicious and filling. We loved our stay!

Sunny Brae is a charming and relaxing place to stay! I can’t say enough good things about the owners and staff; they were extremely friendly and helpful. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and walking the beach relaxing. Comfy beds and clean rooms with attention to detail. Walking distance to restaurants and the shops in town. Would highly recommend staying at Sunny Brae on your visit to Nairn. Will remember our visit fondly.

Everything. Room was warm, clean and comfortable. The service and friendliness of the hosts was excellent. The guesthouse was bright and very welcoming. The breakfasts were very enjoyable, well cooked and presented well. We had a beautiful view from our room.

We absolutely loved staying at Sunny Brae. the location was perfect, the accommodation was so comfortable and clean, and it was lovely and spacious. For us, Rachel and John absolutely made our stay! They were so lovely, and so attentive. They could not have done any more for us. Really friendly and welcoming, and made us feel at ease. Breakfast was exceptional both mornings and in a lovely location within the hotel.

This is a warm friendly second generation family run small hotel.Perfect location, comfortable rooms and leisure areas. Breakfast was freshly cooked and more than ample to start the day. The hosts John & Rachael very welcoming. Much preferred to chain type hotel.

Perhaps another table on the outside patio area would be beneficial.

A lovely stay while visiting friends in Nairn for a few days. John and Rachel were excellent hosts throughout and the rooms were spotlessly clean. The breakfast was the perfect way to start the day too and thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Recommended.

This Bed and Breakfast is a gem. Outstanding location overlooking the Moray Firth on a clear sunny morning, is just an uplifting start to the day. Breakfast is excellent. Service is second to none. The facilities are spotlessly clean, quiet, very comfortable beds, and excellent sleep quality. There are lots of little touches that make this bed and breakfast stand out from the crowd. The owners offer such a warm welcome, discreetly looking after all your service needs, and offering great tips of the local area. I can’t recommend this location more highly. You could spend a lot more money staying elsewhere, but not enjoy the excellent welcome, first class food and accommodation, and value for money. Best place to stay in Nairn.

It is very difficult to say anything other than the venue is very special with a superb dual aspect dining room, bright, light bedrooms, and cleaner than home. Absolutely no dislikes whatsoever.

A bigger tv would be better in the bedroom or positioned closer to the bed so it could be more easily watched. Not a huge deal though just a suggestion.

Perfectly cooked breakfast, with plenty of choice. Excellent location, across from the beach and near to the museum. Lots of advice about local restaurants and places to visit.
