I enjoyed everything about my stay. The Staff were delightful, excellent breakfast, very comfortable room and bed and a great location - 3minute walk into town. Car parking was good and free as was the WiFi.

This is NOT a criticism, and all was made very clear before I booked. Check in is after 4.00pm and until then the door is locked. I believe however that you can organise an earlier check in if required. There is no restaurant other than the breakfast room but there are a plethora of good restaurants and pubs within a few minutes walk. Also there is no bar but an excellent mini-bar is provided in the room and the prices are very good

Everything!! The room was so incredibly clean and well designed. The water in the room and touches like wine glasses, make up remover and pads made it feel really luxurious. The rooms were well sound proofed and loved the option of the communal lounge. The breakfast was lovely, there were continental options to help yourself too (no pastries unfortunately!) and table service full English breakfast options. I felt truly spoilt and so well looked after during my entire stay. Really appreciated being able to leave my car on arrival instead of having to faff about with moving it. I would stay here again if ever back in the area.

24 hour reception would have been great. Or the option to grab the key earlier so we could arrive after check in time - although to be fair this wasn't something I asked!

Very nice hotel, friendly staff, very central location. Room was really nice - The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The breakfast was cooked to order and staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is 4 stars and one of the cheapest in the area, which was surprising as it was such a nice room. The room was large and had 2 chairs and a table and a full wardrobe. I would recommend staying here in Knaresborough.

The shower was not very good - not very warm but was ok. It was not very powerful. There was a fridge in the room with drinks you could purchase, which I turned off as I cannot bear the noise of a fridge.

Beautiful period house conveniently located, very spacious bedroom, very comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom. Bedroom decor very pleasant.Good quality teas and coffees as well as bathroom products. Lots of options for breakfast, which was beautifully cooked. All the team were efficient, very helpful and really friendly. Our bedroom was at the front of the house on the road but we didn't find it too noisy. Knaresborough is a charming town and we only wished we could have had more time to explore.

The car park area and reception at the back of the house would benefit from some attention. The bedroom carpet was ridged in places and could do with stretching or replacing.

Breakfast in the hotel was fab! Great range of choice and lovely service, there was a young lady named Keris that really made an impression on us - very frindly, helpful and polite! The quality of the food was also very good. Location of the hotel was great, literally a few mins walk into the market town. Room we were given (8) was at the very top of the building at the front and the rd traffic was very loud/busy late on and earlyorning - no fault of the hotel obviously! But ment we couldn’t have the window left open during the night and it was quite warm in the room due to the fab quality of the quilt/linnen! Plenty of little touches, tea/coffee/hot choc and toilettries available which was welcomed.

The whole house is beautifully decorated. The room was large, comfortable and warm. Fantastic thick towels in bathroom, with powerful, hot shower. Excellent tea tray and a generous size fridge. The box of chocolates on the bed was a lovely surprise. The breakfast was suoerb: the porridge with sultanas steeped in malt whisky is a must. The staff were very friendly, chatty and happy.

Nothing really. Yes, the road is busy but you know that when you book and it certainly didn't bother us.

Beautiful. Classy, welcome, spotless. Sweet and very friendly young lady who went out of her way to show us around. Huge rooms, love the place. Only time I’ve ever been back somewhere twice..

Nothing Bed was so comfy we had the four poster room. Shutters on the little Georgian window, interesting apple catchers, orchards, paintings, thick thick carpets. Close by to everything but far enough to not be bothered by any passersby noise! Queen sized bed.. deep long bath with cotton voile to window blowing gently. Buses to Harrogate all day even on Sunday 🚌

What a beautiful B&B a lovely warm welcome from the owner. He gave our selves and my sister and partner the choice of rooms being very honest. The large one at the front, so may be a bit noisy or smaller one at the back. We chose the large at the front. We were not troubled at all by noise. It was warm and cosy lovely big ensuit. If I was being picky, the shower wasn't very powerful. But, we often find that in B&Bs .I would highly recommend it. Oh and the breakfast was magnificent great choice and all cooked fresh.Its very central and walking distance to shops and wonderful pubs and eaterys.. knarsborough is a lovely place. We did a great walk on sat. Along the river, Nid gorge about 7miles it was stunning. Great pub halfway round. Then, when back into Knarsborough, as you cross the station, you must go into the Gin and Ale bar on the platform. Wow, what a find.

Shower could have Been more powerful.

The breakfast was outstanding .There was a huge buffet with fresh fruit cereals etc followed by about 10 different choices of cooked food. I have stayed in many hotels and B & B's but this breakfast was better than any other I have had. The room was spacious with two comfortable chairs and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was well equipped .One of the best rooms I have stayed in .The staff were so friendly and helpful it made the stay quite special.

Nothing could be better

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and the room was immaculate. The breakfast was very tasty. We would definitely come again.

The heating was on all night and the room was too hot. We opened windows but as we were in a room at the front the traffic was noisy sat at the traffic lights.
