Very good location, a short walk from Paddington station and Hyde Park. It's a simple and old hotel, you get what you pay for and now more but since we used it only for sleeping it was all we needed. What is good is that it's in a quiet area so we could sleep well. I also liked the small selection of tea in the room which was re-filled every day. The breakfast is simple, for example only boiled egg and not scrambled or fried eggs but again here you get what you pay for 8 GBP.

The hotel is not the newest anymore. The cleaning staff does their best and it was clean but due to the age for example in the bathroom there are some things which seem no longer to be made good looking.

Excellent helpful and friendly staff in all areas and a very clean hotel. Breakfast was good and they also sell some unique London souvenirs plus drinks and snacks. It is in an excellent a location so close to Paddington station (Tube, Elizabeth Line & National rail services) plus heaps of restaurants on the area. Will definitely stay here again when I return to London. Thank you team; you all do a super job.

They only change towels every 3-4 days and whilst this saves so many towels being washed each day, my suggestion would be to make it an option like all the other hotels we stayed in during the past 6 weeks.

Excellent stay, very good location. Lovely helpfull staff, helping us to store our luggage when we arrived long before our room was going to be ready. Great (continental, not english) breakfast. Comfortable quiet room, we were on the third floor looking over the back yard and it was very quiet. Spacious bathroom with a good shower over bath. I would definitely stay again.

Insufficient ventilation in the room. As the rooms don't have aircon, the room was quite stuffy, even on a mild summers day in June. The windows only open a tiny bit for safety reasons, and heavy drapes impede any airflow you might get. There was a small desk-top fan available but there wasn't really a desk to position it. At the very least a floor fan would help a bit better.

The staff is very nice and do all they can to make your stay as good and pleasant as possible. The location is fine - between Paddington station and Lancaster gate, which gives a lot of flexibility. Breakfast is fine and there is always plenty of food, but it also a bit ordinaire. A larger number of restaurants very close to the hotel.

The hotel is as such okay, but it is a bit worn and outdated at some places. Could soon do with a makeover. Breakfast could have include some hot "stuff" like bacon, scrambled eggs etc. - but the things that were for breakfast very okay.

Staff were always friendly and offered help with anything we needed. When checking out they offered the store room for our bags which helped alot due to our train not leaving for anither 10 hours. The room was perfect clean and had everything we needed. And the information book in our room told us everything we needed to know about meals, room service, and access to irons and hair dryers. We have already decided we will be staying here again next year.

Nothing, everything was great I just wish we knew we could put our bags in storage the day we arrived instead of carrying them around London

Wonderful hotel for a 2 night stay! Had all the necessities. Room was clean and tidy, bathrooms were in good working condition, rooms had good AC and the TV had lots of stations. We were able to drop off our bags before Check-in and front desk was very nice and welcoming. We received 2 free bottles of water in our room upon arrival and there was a little tea set for nights. Breakfast was mid- nothing spectacular (boiled eggs, bread, pastries, croissants, tea). The bag drop area was a bit outdated but the room section of the hotel was more modern. It was very close to bus and train stations- 5/8 min walk tops and close to restaurants, supermarket and such in the Paddington area. Very safe area and close to the city Centre- we got to most of the main attractions within 20 min or so by public transit (with traffic). Overall a very good experience for a short stay!

Very good location, couple of minutes walk from Lancaster Gate and Paddington stations.Quiet part of the street, very friendly staff and good breakfast.Room was clean and we appreciated new windows.

Bathroom sink has two separate faucets, one for warm and other for cold watter, which is very inconvenient. A bit more spacious rooms would also be appreciated. We appreciated continental European electrical socket, but since we both had to charge our phones during the night, 2 sockets for a two person room would be best. (We also had EU/UK socket adapter, but our phones didn't charge on neither of the 2 UK sockets.Perhaps our adapter was faulty, cannot be sure).

Couldn't fault it, exactly what you need in a Hotel, admittedly we literally used it to sleep in, didn't use any of the facilities like the bar or food. The room was a reasonable size. Good to see an ironing board and iron plus a fan in the wardrobe if needed. The area is great for places to eat. The Italian cafe opposite was great for breakfast and an Italian Restaurant towards Paddington Tube station was also really good. Other types of cuisine available so would definitely find something to suit any taste.

Nothing. The price, but then it is London, so to be fair, it was one of the better priced hotels we looked at for proximity to Hyde Park.

It’s in a great location in Paddington. The table of life statue is right there when you walk out of the Paddington station. You can get an express train from Heathrow 20 mins to Paddington station. SO CONVENIENT! There’s a grocery store, great restaurants and Hyde park and Kensington park is right there. Great safe walking neighborhood and not crowded

Our first night we were above the lobby exactly on corner of 2 streets and I couldn’t sleep all night. Next day we moved to a back sided room. We did not have breakfast here

really great little hotel - 5 min walk from paddington station - will stay again for sure. Would recommend this hotel for anyone needing to be centrally located at a really good price!

only thing that spoilt the trip was the noise of neighbours - opening & letting the doors slam, eventually went out and spoke to them at 1.35am! the doors of the rooms are heavy and noisy when just left to slam shut...not really a hotel issue tho...just an inconsiderate people issue
