We just came home after five nights here. Our stay was beyond what we expected, really lovely property, clean, homely, breakfast exceptional, cooked to perfection, plentiful too 😊 Janine, Paul and Bradley were the loveliest hosts very friendly with lots of knowledge about the local area 😊 The location could not of been better either, we will mostly certainly be back

The only teeny tiny thing I would of liked is a bedside lamp , I love to read with more sombre lighting, the lights above the bed were very bright , having said this it in no way spoiled our stay 😊

We loved our stay here. The communication was great with the owner right from the start. She offered tips for places to eat and was super friendly. Our room was perfect. Spacious and clean with the most comfortable huge bed. The view was spectacular. We were walking distance to everything in town. There is parking available at the property too for smaller cars. Our room had a fantastic view overlooking the river, our hosts were very helpful and friendly. There was private car parking for smaller cars on site, which was a real bonus. The location being right on the river was excellent although most of the town was a short walk away (a few minutes over the bridge) this only added to that going out for the evening feeling (although there were two pubs a very short walk away on the same side of the river as the guest house). The breakfast although maybe not the widest choice was very tasty and served with a smile by your hostess.

The bathroom although very clean and tidy was a little on the small side.

Welcomed at the door by Janine, and shown to our front room - beautifully appointed, with huge comfortable bed and armchairs; overlooking the harbour. Excellent friendly hosts, able to share local info and recommendations. As so often mentioned, our breakfast was very tasty, and served hot! Good selection of cereals, fruit juices and fresh fruit- all served in a light airy dining room, or in the conservatory (warm and sunny when we visited) An easy 20 minute walk either around the quayside, or to the beach

As soon as we pulled up outside we were blown away .The view was stunning .Then we met our hosts they were the most wonderful people you wish to meet. The Mainstone was well above expectations , the rooms were well above our expectations the breakfast were fantastic . There was nothingnot to like

We were lucky enough to stay in this lovely guest house. Lovely large room with an en suite shower. Ours had a big bay window over looking the harbour with stunning views. Everything was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice. Thank you to the lovely hosts for a perfect stay. The location is perfect and has free parking, a car space for each room. Only a few minutes walk to the town. Would definitely book again.

Janine and Paul have a gorgeous 5 bed-roomed B&B right in the heart of Looe. They took great pride in the personal touch and nothing was too much problem. We had lovely toiletries in the bathroom, the bed was comfortable, there was a proper hairdryer and plenty of well placed sockets for chargers etc. it was beautifully decorated and clean with a great breakfast. There was a small but lovely sitting area to the front of the property and you could eat lunch in the small conservatory overlooking the estuary full of fishing and other boats. The B&B was just over the bridge from the main hub of the town, so it was lovely to see but not noisy. There was a parking space for each room.

The parking spaces were better suited to smaller cars so better not to take a large/long car. Our room was lovely but at the rear of the property so I would have liked a front bedroom for the view and sea air, but that isn’t a criticism!

Firstly, the accommodation is near the train station and there is private parking on site. Our room was the best of all in the guest house. It was wonderful, full of natural light, very very clean and with great view. About the breakfast, there was a special option for vegetarians. I was pleased with that! Janine, was very sweet and kind, she made us feel at home. She was an incredible hostess!! We will come back soon for sure!!!

I wish, we could stay more days..

Little Mainstone was situated in an ideal location, just a few minutes walk from Looe. The views of the harbour are amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and the choice and quality of the breakfast was exceptional. Little Mainstone was spotlessly clean and the small garden was just beautiful to relax in .

Nothing the quality and finish was superb.

A friendly welcome to a very well-run guest house. Bed very comfortable. Good shower. Nice to have body shampoo as well as shampoo and conditioner provided. Easily accessible power sockets by the bed and above the dressing table. Breakfast room looks onto the harbour, very relaxing and pretty. Unlike the other side of the harbour (East Looe), this area is very quiet at night. This guest house is an ideal base for walking to Polperro, about 2-3 hours, a beautiful coastal route. (Get the hourly bus back for a couple of quid).

The bathroom basin was a bit small, and not easy to use as it was under a wall cupboard. The breakfast menu is quite meaty, with limited veggie/vegan options. However, the mushrooms were fresh and delicious.
