Fabulous location for visiting family, value for money.. no cooked breakfast but there is a lovely bar across the road and breakfasts are amazing, also good selection of hot drinks that you can make in the room, plus porridge, cereal bars and biscuits.. ideal if leaving room early.. decor is within keeping of the building, very warm and cosy room 😊

Bed was really lumpy and not comfortable but we still managed a nights sleep after being out all day walking, also it wasn’t an issue as we weren’t really in the room all day but the TV we just couldn’t get it to work, asking to connect to android which we don’t have.. just a heads up for anyone who likes to watch TV in the room if a night.

Room was nice and warm and also very clean. Quite old fashioned but in a nice way. Gorgeous rug which was very clean. Bedding smelt lovely was super soft and it was the most comfortable bed I have slept in in a long long time!! Staff friendly and great selection of drinks at the bar. Bath in the bathroom with over bath showe which is always a bonus as I love a soak in the bath. Nice fresh fluffy towels. Bin and bed made daily. Fresh bedding every other night. Good choice of tv channels. Everything fully working. Car park available round the back. Water, porridge and a cereal bar provided daily.

Shame there is no breakfast - cafe down the road had a 45 minute wait for a table. Car park very tight and pitch black at night so quite hard to park. Old fashioned but was so nice for a change to modern everything. Tv quite small for the large room. Can be a little noisy up until midnight if there’s an event on.

Spacious rooms and the beds are so comfortable! The rooms were warm and comfortable especially as it’s winter and so cold outside! The staff are so friendly and it’s a very relaxed atmosphere.

We like that it’s in a central location in market Weighton and not far to York. The property itself has been furnished well with lots of original features . There is always a warm atmosphere and the bar area is always nice. When we walked in it had been decorated very tastefully for Christmas and the first thing I noticed was the beautiful Christmas tree.

The Hotel was located on the main street local to all shops in the pretty Market Town. The host was brilliant, allowing us early check-in as we were going to a wedding. Check-in was simple, and the room was very spacious as was the bathroom. The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast was not available, but there was a complimentaryporridge pot if you need a snack. Just opposite is a lovely little cafe, so food is not a problem. The fixtures and fittings are all original, giving the hotel a great feeling of history and quality. Very friendly staff and owner and very clean. A great place to stay in the centre of the Market town or to use as a hub for discovering the beautiful surrounding countryside.

Been here many times and it never disappoints. There is a reasonable free car park at the rear. A bar leads out to a lovely enclosed beer patio. Rooms are all high ceilinged so comfortable and airy even without opening the windows. They state room only but there is a nicely stocked breakfast basket with instant porridge pots, snack bars etc and tea/coffee making facilities. It is very central in this charming rural spot that hosts several places for an excellent breakfast (Half Moon opposite, Wicstun kitchen a two minutes walk along the road to name just two).

What a lovely place to stay! After reading the reviews we knew The Londesborough Arms would be good but it exceeded that! We arrived early and we're welcomed by a very friendly lady. Our room was spotless and there was a lovely breakfast pack too. The bed was super comfy and our stay there was like being at home. The staff were lovely and the housekeeping superb. We will definitely be back to stay. We are thinking of booking now for York Christmas market as there is a public bus stop very close by.

There was nothing not to like at all

Nice central location, with parking. Nice big rooms, I had a lovely church view this time. We've stayed here previously as it's very handy for visiting family locally. Also very good if you're travelling with your dog.

Had to ask for extra bedding, which was quickly supplied, as the summer weight duvet really wasn't up to an icy late November night. Didn't go in the bar as bright bars with big tv's aren't really my thing.

The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. The bed was comfortable and the complimentary breakfast items were very welcome. The location is good with shops across the road. Wish we'd had longer to explore Market Weighton.

Slight confusion at check-in. Reception desk was unmanned, eventually we spotted a bell. someone directed us through the busy bar area, then straight back to reception.

It was a very spacious room with the most comfortable beds! The accommodation was really clean as was the whole building. The location was perfect for us too, close to family who live in the town and all the shops.

It says b&b and we thought we would get a cooked breakfast or buffet but that wasn’t on offer. However there was a complimentary basket with instant porridge pots and breakfast cereal bars.

Large room with plenty of space for clothing, etc. Large, comfortable bed. Nice bathroom. Great location with easy access to shops in town.

You can't control the heat in your room. It's on a timer for the whole building and is limited hours on from 6 or 7 pm until maybe 8 am. Also, the pub had a rock band playing Saturday night from 9pm to midnight which reverberates into the rooms.
