The whole experience was extremely good right from arrival to leaving, The accomodation was excellent - both the bedroom and the en-suite bathroom were spotlessly clean along with all the other areas eg the lounge and dining room .The shower was powerful with hot water available at all times of the day and the bed was extremely comfortable . Breakfast was served in the dining room by happy and friendly staff and the choice was very good - the full English breakfast was delicious with high quality ingredients . Parking was easy as it was so close to the accomodation which is in a wonderful location in the counryside .

Perhaps the accomodation/rooms could have air- conditioning units added . Other people could park more neatly - possibly the spaces need to be marked out .

We enjoyed our stay in a beautiful peaceful setting. Our room was comfortable with everything we needed. The breakfast was first class with a great choice of quality hot and cold food. The staff were helpful and there was lots of information of places to visit and things to do. We highly recommend Highfield Farm for a relaxing comfortable holiday.

There was nothing to dislike about our holiday.

Quiet. Lovely lounge area to relax in. Breakfast was sizeable and tasty. Georgina, was extremely helpful and accommodating - she gave us a lift to the nearest village as taxis weren’t available (think rocking horse…) she even lent us an umbrella to walk back from the nearest village with!

Away from town. Pricey for what you get. TV in room was tiny (like a caravan TV)

2 bloke cyclists . Easy check in - good instructions as we were the only people there for the night. Lovely facilities. Spotlessly clean. Great bike lock up. Fabulous breakfast and lovely staff the next morning. Nicest ace we stayed in all week on our bike tour.

A bit far from town as we had no car,but walked down to nearby village for pub and fish and chips.

Lovely location, peaceful and quiet. Nice, clean room, not huge but sufficient for one night. Great breakfast which we thoroughly enjoyed. Easy check in via keysafe as we arrived later in evening.Pleasant and friendly breakfast staff. Thank you for a lovely stay :)

A fan in the room would be helpful as it was rather warm and only had a small opening window.

We arrived in the car park just as a cooking class had finished (I think the property also has a culinary school). They were taking some left over cheesecake to the kitchen and must have seen us eyeing it up as they immediately offered to give it to us and wrapped it in foil for us to take to our room. What a welcome! We entered the entrance to find a cute little brown bag on a peg with our room keys and information guide inside. The bedrooms were cosy, clean with huge beds, good selections of tea and coffee and all the amenities that we required. The blackout curtains were a bonus given that we have young children who wake up as soon as there is a peep of sunlight. The hotel was lovely and quiet during the night. Breakfast was outstanding. Varied, cooked to order and happy to accommodate our special requests. We were so content at the hotel that we actually wanted to stay for a second night but unsurprisingly when we checked for availability we found that it was fully booked. We were visiting friends in the area and will definitely be staying here again when we visit them next time.

There was a green emergency light on in one of the rooms we booked, which was far too bright at night. Luckily we were able to cover it using the brown paper bag we were given on arrival (two birds eh?!) so we didn't need to call someone to the room out of hours.

The set up of cookery school with accommodation all done to a high standard. Great room , spacious with all you might need. Very comfy bed .

No restaurant in easy walking distance but we bought fish and chips locally and had them using the cutlery and crockery provided by Wolds escapes so it is the most minor of issues. No problem at all if you're not on bikes and cycling the coast to coast as we were.

The location was lovely, so quiet and peaceful. The staff were outstanding, welcoming, friendly, nothing was too much for them, they are a real asset to the company. The food, breakfast, was delicious. The sitting room, was a real advantage, somewhere comfortable to sit and read as there was only one chair in the bedroom and two people in the room.

It would have been lovely if the room had had a view of the surrounding countryside instead of, mainly, looking at a roof. Initially the plug in the handbasin was incredibly stiff and difficult to operate but after two days (we were staying for four nights) it was much better and worked correctly. Similarly for the first two days there was an unpleasant smell of drains in the bathroom but, again after two days this disappeared!

Breakfast was fine and staff was very attentive. The location was nice and quiet. The room and bathroom was clean and tidy.We had a very enjoyable stay.

We would have liked a proper double bed instead of two single beds together.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this stay, everything was just perfect for our overnighter. We were greeted warmly and breakfast was an absolute treat that charged us up for our ongoing trip north 😃 Hopefully we can stay with you longer when next in the UK. Thank you
