Have frequented the Old Mill Inn many times as a dining guest, but decided to stay this time, I was not disappointed. The rooms are exceptional appointed, with all the modern technologies that might confuse those that aren’t up to date! The underfloor heating for one is very efficient, but a tad complicated to control, found it very warm. Had to call on staff to show me how to put on the bedside lamps, even they had trouble! The surround music system was indeed very good, controlled by a digital screen on the wall. It is a very, modern and comfortable place to stay, not to mention the excellent food supplied in the restaurant. Looking forward to my next stay!!

On arrival we found the car park to be extremely small which would be the only criticism about this place. Receptionist was charming and very helpful and showed us to our room and explained everything we needed to know - and every member of staff we encountered was pleasant and friendly. We ate breakfast and dinner at the hotel during our two night stay and the food was exceptional - all freshly prepared. The cleanliness of the whole hotel was really really good - some more upmarket hotels where we've stayed could learn a thing or two from the Old Mill Inn on all counts from staff, food and cleanliness.

Car park was the only downside, however we arrived at times when parking space was available.

Myself and my partner have just arrived home after a two-night stay at The Old Mill Inn. Our experience from check-in to check-out was brilliant. All the staff were so friendly and willing to go above and beyond to ensure our stay was very memorable. The rooms are of a high standard, very comfy, and are spotless. We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis but also had an evening meal one night. The food was excellent and the live music in the evening at the weekend was also very good. We are very much looking forward to our next visit to The Old Mill Inn, thank you very much to all the staff, who work hard and bend over backwards for you.

Pretty old mill building - nicely renovated and exceptionally clean. Deluxe Double bedroom was wonderful - big, really comfy bed - didn’t want to get out! Big space, all the facilities we needed including hairdryer, mirrors, water, tea and coffee selection. Bathroom is superb - large walk in rain shower and large bath. Nice bath products. Underfloor heating. Dinner in restaurant was good. Live music after was excellent. Breakfast in the morning was fantastic! Can’t fault anything and to top it off all staff members were wonderful - really friendly, helpful and always someone around to help.

Not much!! Parking could be tricky if busier but we found a space no problem. Food at dinner was good but not great.

Super cosy , room was lovely and clean. Bed super comfy room easily warmed up. Very nice cosy stay :)

My partner and I felt some of the female staff in the restaurant were nosing in on our conversation and finding amusement in our conversation. My partner noted after the meal he felt they were talking about us the whole time. As bar/restaurant staff ourself we never complain about staff however on this occasion we felt their behaviour very unprofessional and upsetting.

Everything - the rooms were beautiful and to a very high standard - also spacious with modern decor and a lovely bathroom. Just perfect. Every member of staff we spoke to was engaging and so friendly- we felt so welcome. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and again - great service. We also had drinks in the beer garden then dinner in the restaurant- and that was first class. We so enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the hotel to our friends.

The staff (both hotel and restaurant) were friendly and extremely accommodating throughout our stay. The rooms were well equipped and comfortable - the deluxe double room had what an American would call a "real" king size bed! The restaurant had a great menu with many excellent gluten free options, which as a celiac, I greatly appreciated. You can beat the location as a base in Pitlochry. Definitely don't miss this place if you're coming through!

We loved our stay at the Old Mill Inn, it felt like a very luxurious treat. The room was stylish, comfortable and absolutely spotless. The bed was large and the bedding felt crisp and fresh. We loved the high quality products and toiletries too. We also had a delicious evening meal in the restaurant- we have dined here before and this time was just as fantastic as before. Every dish was very tasty and fresh- the apple and rhubarb crumble was the best I’ve had! The breakfast was lovely too. We enjoyed sitting outside in the afternoon having some drinks- the garden and surroundings are lovely and it was very relaxing to sit beside the old water mill. The staff here work so hard and are always so friendly and extremely helpful! We can’t recommend The Old Mill Inn enough and would love to return again in the future. Thank you!

Lively hotel/inn in a great location. Staff was excellent and accommodated all of our requests. We loved our well appointed and large rooms with modern bathrooms, #s 5 and 6, which were in the back and positioned like a mini suite, with one exception: each night we heard the bar staff empty recycling bins of glass bottles snd empty kegs right beneath our windows. Otherwise, would have rated it a 10. Would definitely come back and will recommend this place to friends. Parking was convenient and the chef made breakfast bags for us when departing early for the airport.

The staff were excellent and made us very welcome. The room was beautiful with a good selection of tea, coffee and water and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The food was first class.

Minor things only, the food was excellent quality and priced accordingly but the wine was city centre prices in a rural location. The facilities were great the only small thing would be 2 packs of shortbread in a double room.
