The staff were very accommodating and the room was comfortable. Very clean and the food in the restaurant in the evenings was really good. Great options for a vegan. Good quality meat for a regular diner.

We were not aware that we had to pay extra to use the spa and swimming pool or that we had to book ahead. Luckily it is half price for guests £20 for 2 and luckily they had an opening for 2 hours that evening. Only downside we shared our 2 hour spa time with a very loud childish bunch of lads that had no respect for calm tranquility use of the facilities. I’m vegan so disappointed to hear that paid £12.50 for breakfast that offered very little. Vegetarian sausages not available on the morning even though We booked ahead and was told options available. Spent £12.50 on dry toast tomatoes and mushroom.

hotel is really nice very clean rooms, friendly staff. restaurant is excellent food was delicious.

the hotel shows pictures of a gym which I thought would be either included with the price of the room or for a small fee to use daily, when I asked I got told it was £35 per person to use on a Sunday and £20 for any other day of the week which I could not believe. they advertise as if it’s part of the hotel which it is not, it is part of the spa. I actually searched for gyms nearby and they all cost around £3-6 per day. I think the hotel need to revise this as it would get used more often.

A great stay, with the bonus of on site spa (at an additional cost) that was lovely and we used both days. Well located and plenty of parking on site too. We attended for a wedding and would stay again without any concerns.

Ordering breakfast for your stay the night before was a little bit tricky, as you may not know what you want in those circumstances. The bed was a little bit small (but I am bigger than the average human too)

The spa was lovely and not too busy so had a lovely relaxing time there. Rooms were quite spacious and modern. Beds comfortable and shower powerful. Breakfast was good and very reasonably priced. Staff were lovely. Bar/ restaurant was nice and busy in the evening, had a nice feel to it.

Ventilation unit outside the bathroom was noisy but only with the window open so a small niggle. Would have been nice to have a proper cup of tea with breakfast as water kept in flask jugs doesn’t brew tea.

The hotel was great. It was comfortable and clean. The food was amazing, well done to the chef and the waiter ( man) that served us.

That you had to pay for the swimming pool. I can understand paying for the spa facilities but not the pool if you are stating there It is not stated on booking .com or in the folder that is in your room.

Dinner & Breakfast lovely. The spa facilities were great, although it was an additional charge, it's one I was happy to pay for. Only suggestion would be that it's 1 charge per 24 hours.

Whist the room was generally clean and sufficient for the night, the extractor fan in the bathroom was coated with dust and could do with it being cleaned out. Same for the remote control, needs a deep clean.

The staff were very welcoming. The bathroom was excellent. No problems with parking.

The room was too hot and if you opened the window you could hear the noisy traffic from the A55, so a poor night's sleep. The mattress needed a topper to be more comfortable. Compared to other rooms we've stayed in, it was expensive as it didn't include breakfast.

The location is perfect for a quiet night stay, modern decor. Rural setting. I didn't eat in the restaurant but it looked lovely inside.

Just a small mention, by being a female business traveller staying alone, I would have liked the reassurance of being able to lock the door to the room from the inside.

Lovely spacious superior room with lovely views, separate bath and shower. Kath is a great asset to this hotel, she cooked a lovely breakfast and was so friendly, helpful and funny. Used the Spa facilities which were great, lovely outdoor jacuzzi and big warm pool inside. You get two hours for the fee you pay to use the facilities. Towels, bathrobes and slippers can be hired for the Spa. Great location to explore north Wales. Lovely staff throughout the hotel.

Check in reception is not obvious when you enter the hotel, you have to enter into the Spa reception.

Breakfast was delicious

I came back after darkness one evening and found the White House very difficult to find. I drove past it a couple of times. Also I parked in the front and found the motion sensitive lighting to the entrance inadequate.
