Beautiful hotel that seems fairly newly built and almost resembles staying in an art gallery. Staff are very friendly and are happy to help in any way. We were upgraded to a corner room with stunning sea view. St David's is a very small but gorgeous town so by the time we got there around 21:30 everything was closed. As we had not eaten, and the restaurant was closed, the staff were happy to make sandwiches for us. Overall a great property and more than happy to stay here again.

Breakfast area can get really busy during holidays but that's no different to any other hotel I suppose. We only stayed 2 nights and nothing to complain abut really

Easy parking. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. Our room (a Superior Deluxe Double) was spacious, well equipped, and everything worked as it should with the exception of the bedside reading lights. The room was remarkably quiet and the bed comfortable. The shower was great and we appreciated the automatic night light in the bathroom. The hotel employs a very capable Chef and we much enjoyed dinner in the Blas Restaurant. The breakfast was mostly prepared to order and the quality was high. Ordinary filter coffee was served which was good. Complementary Welsh cakes were always on offer in the reception area.

Bedside reading lights were too dim for us. Continental breakfast offerings were limited. Real ale was not available in the bar. The layout of the hotel means the bar and restaurant areas are buried inside, so sadly fail to benefit from the extensive sea views across St Brides Bay.

Staff receptive and friendly. Room was lovely and spacious - offered a free upgrade. The two doors to the bathroom was a little excessive when valuing privacy! Breakfast was great - could request slightly different combinations, and gluten free bread/granola readily available (but need to mention in advance). Booked dinner once, an experience!

Patio area outside the room looked scruffy and neglected bearing in mind it was still high season

I would bet money that this is the most luxurious hotel in Pembrokeshire, perhaps the whole of Wales, west of Cardiff. The staff were GENUINELY interested and attentive. At check out, we were personally asked 'what is one thing we could have done to make the stay better' instead of the usual 'everything ok?' which you know the person does not want a real answer for. Immediately after here, we stayed at an equivalent hotel in North Wales and had terrible service. Fiona at reception and the two ladies at breakfast in particular delivered excellent service at all times. Dinner: I was surprised to see the bill for dinner. They could charge 25% more than they do. It felt underpriced for what it was. Breakfast: i prefer my breakfast low-brow with beans so at first I was hesitant, but the quality of every ingredient was off the scale. Incredible. Small thing, but we have stayed in LOTS of hotels recently and this was the only one in Wales which actually had UMRELLAS for guests.

I would suggest all hotels nowadays get chromecast capability on the TVs

The food was, for me, the very pleasant surprise and the biggest attraction; it was exceptional. Breakfasts were perfectly cooked with excellent choice. Dinner was exceptional both evenings, everything delighted. And of course service, from reception to dining to everyone was not only professional but also very warm and friendly. A perfect combination. The art and design was an added bonus but for me it was the hospitality I valued the most.

Overall a very high standard. Excellent staff with considerable attention to detail. This culture continued through to the room and the bathroom. The annoying lack of consideration in other hotels certainly was not a problem here. For example - hooks provided for coats in the room and clothing in the bathroom and draw space.

It would have been nice to have a seat in bathroom so that we could dry our feet easily, but have to say that in comparison to the pluses this was a minor item.

Super bedroom and fantastic bathroom. comfortable big bed. Very good breakfast and superb cooking. We commented upon the excellent Pembrokeshire potatoes and were most kindly presented with a small bag of them! On leaving our table we noted that the head chef was in the dining room, and I complimented him on his honeycomb in the dessert, saying that it was far better than my attempts. The following morning someone knocked our door and presented the recipe! In the scale of pleasing your guests it doesn’t get much better….sincere thanks. ( I could not think of how I could reciprocate so later sent a copy of my book End to End by Christine Green, ….How I cycled solo LEJOG, 20% going to Women v Cancer. I doubt the chef will cycle the 1000 miles but you never know. Perhaps I might inspire him as his cooking inspired me)

It is a very modern property with VERY modern art work, which I could not appreciate. Decorated in bland grey/ black with a “Japanese” feel about it. My breakfast was almost spoiled by the huge painting s of Tom Jones and two others gazing down at me. These three paintings seemed to dominate the dining room and I found them off putting. Otherwise all fine.

We had a ground floor room with a large bed small patio and a sea view across the fields. The room was very quiet and immaculately presented. A good selection of hot drinks and fresh milk in the fridge. The breakfast was a quality affair with beatiful presentation.

I dont have any compalints about our stay and I would stay there again when visiting St Davids

Everything scrupulously clean. Large room and spacious bathroom with all usual amenities and even a terrace which unfortunately we didn't use because it rained heavily while we were there. Pleasant, helpful staff. Convenient for the city and the nearby beaches. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of hot and cold items.

We would have appreciated instructions on how to turn the volume down on the tv. - a minor issue

Hotel was amazing, our twin room was beautiful and very spacious and loads of storage, bathroom was huge and lovely shower, we had a free room upgrade too which was a lovely surprise and we had patio area. All staff were friendly and very attentive and fantastic service. The breakfast was excellent lots of choice. This hotel totally deserves all the amazing reviews it's getting. Can't wait to return here.
