Totally recommended!! Their photos are genuine! Completely value for money. 'Spacesavers' at 12 St James Row in Sheffield did truly their best to accommodate us in the best way. Our flat was actually on the 1st floor, which was reached only through a convenient staircase and where our keys were safely kept in a key box at the front door. But a secret pin is needed too, in order to enter the main entrance of this Savespacers's building. Even further specific other pins are needed to reach the separate garbage building's safe place. It is a red brick traditional style building outside, but with really nice and modern useful renovations inside, just next to the Sheffield Cathedral and at the heart of the city Centre. You can reach anything on foot or even take the tram, bus or taxi just outside the flat. Our renovated flat was Nr 3, a very convenient 'place like home' with two soundproof bedrooms which had a large bed for two each, with really soft and clean bed linen and mattresses, and with separate ensuite wonderful private bathrooms with all the relevant toiletries and towels each, facilitated by a storeroom, a hall and an open-space stylish spacious kitchen with a salon of 2 sofas, coffee table, smart tv, strong private wi-fi, and even a special complete dining table place. We had a refrigerator and freezer, a dishwasher, a washer-dryer clothes machine, a powerful well used oven with an electric kitchen and hood, a new microwave, a new toaster, a kettle, and all the necessary kitchen equipment and more. The whole flat had unique strong heating, a central one and even separate in the bedrooms, hall and the kitchen, too! We stayed there with our night light clothes, while outside was snowing and showed -5 degrees, and we really felt nothing of that bad weather! The staff and especially the Spacesavers's landlord was really kind and helpful, and immediately met any needs of ours. We will be definitely a returning customer there.

As an international guest,it's worth the stays. Convenient checked-in and checked-out as the host was very proactive and gave us instructions prior arrival to the property. Feels like home. Excellent location. Very clean apartment. Close to the city centre. Internet accessible, bedrooms facilities/amenities and kitchen utensils provided by the host of the property. We can do things as needed. The staff were very helpful, caring, has good interaction and communication levels to guests. I'm honoured that the host of the property does not required me for a deposit of this apartment. Thank you very much. Me and my family will be staying here again next visit for sure. Highly recommended for the stays.

It would be nice if the ironing facilities and iron are in place.

Location was perfect for a day/eve visiting the local bars. Very prompt and personal service/assistance when we couldn't find the code for the key lock.(My fault) Apartment a little basic but clean and tidy. Nice and warm on entry and throughout.

The mattress was unfortunately like a bag of spanners... Lumpy, creaky and a little small for a couple of our age.I ended up sleeping on the floor (although sleep was limited as I am 61). Think you really need to invest in a better one and an extra duvet/pillows.... But we survived. Carpark was actually good and close by but as first timers here, it was a little confusing as to where we could park as many of the spaces were reserved... All turned out ok tho.

Great location, we came for a competition at Ponds Forge and were pleased the flat was only 10 minutes away and very easy to find from the pool. It's also got a great view of the cathedral and has a tesco express about 5 minutes away. The Chinese bakery over the road did the best cake I've ever had. Also very easy to walk into the city centre, or to the tram stop. The communication was excellent, everything I needed to know was sent punctually and clearly, especially the information about the deposit, which was refunded very quickly. The few times I did have a question they replied incredibly quickly. I really liked that there was an ensuite as well as the bathroom, and the flat itself was very quiet. The beds were very comfortable which was great after a day of swimming. Overall very happy, it suited us and I would love to stay here next time I'm in Sheffield.

I can only think of really minor things, none of which really matter, for example there was only one light switch in my room and no lamp so you couldn't read in bed and just go to sleep you had to actively get up, walk across the room and turn off the light and then go to sleep. My friends told me the oven was a bit tricky to get to work so an instruction manual for that might have been useful.

We had a last minute stay in Sheffield and this was the perfect property. You won’t find a better location for the price the process was super easy and the owner was fast at responding and returned the deposit very quickly. The property had everything we needed, to be honest it was the comfiest sleep I’ve had in a long time. It was 2 min walk to the main shopping street and restaurants. Parking was only a 3 minute walk and only £10 for 24hrs which is cheap for Sheffield. Great to have a kitchen so we could cook. It was lovely thank you once again we will most definitely be back!

There wasn’t anything to not like the property was warm and comfortable had everything we needed and is perfect if you want something affordable. We didn’t want to leave!!

My friend and I stayed here for one night after spending the day hiking at Peak District. It was a spontaneous last minute thing. But we were able to reach out easily to the managing team, and although I had some technical issues with my booking, he sorted it out quite efficiently and made the check in process quicker. The location is only a 10 minute walk from the traij station, not to mention aesthetic as it is right in front of a cathedral and a lane lined by beautiful trees. It may seem far if you travel via taxi/car and take a little longer due to one way routes and blocked roads due to construction road works. You can also get here via tram as there is a stop less than 0.2 miles away. We stayed in a one bedroom flat equipped with a kitchen with living room, a bedroom with a double bed (although we would have preferred twin beds for friends), a toilet and a utility room with washing machine. There is a small walk in closet sort of room with an iron board and hangers to hang your clothes. So plenty of room to store your bags too. It's only a few minute walk from the city centre so quite convenient. We enjoyed our stay here ♥️👌

Excellent communication throughout the whole process, very fast responses and clear instructions for getting in. We didn't have any questions or problems but if we had, I'm confident they would have been answered/resolved quickly. The apartment was clean and incredibly spacious, we had everything we needed for our one night stay. The sheets were very soft and the shower was good. Altogether it felt like we got good value for money. Security deposit was promptly paid back on the same day as checkout.

The bed wasn't that comfortable, the sheets were nice and soft but you could feel every single spring in the mattress and the pillows were quite flat. The room was echoey because of the lack of soft furnishings and the high ceilings. It felt like we couldn't speak at normal volume because the room above us would be able to hear, and likewise we could here every single sound the room above made, even if they were just walking around and talking. Also a lot of noise whenever someone went up or down the stairs in the hallway.

It is a nice location close to the centre of Sheffield. The property was clean and well laid out. It is simple but sufficient for a short stay. The bed was comfortable.

I was caught off guard by the required security deposit. Yes, this is mentioned on the page but is hidden behind a sentence that says additional fees may be charged, with a link to follow. Yes, I should have seen it, but I didn't and was annoyed as the security deposit was more than twice the charge for the one night. Grumble, grumble. Black sheets and duvet? This does not inspire confidence.

Lovely property, amazing value for money and really like how it is a contactless check in and check out so no awkward interactions between people are required which is great if you someone like me who isn’t massively keen on social interactions when it comes to checking in to a hotel with my partner. The location is also great, only issue is that when it’s dark outside it can be difficult to find the right building as the alley in which it’s located is poorly lit but other than that it is in a beautifully historic building. Would definitely recommend this place!

The only issues I personally found were difficulties in using the oven, instructions for how to use it were not on the guest guide sheet, I understand it is a standard kitchen appliance however I for one have not ever encountered an oven that works like this particular one does. The toilet seat in the bathroom was not attached properly which wasn’t necessarily an issue but just a potentially safety risk.

Great location, right in the centre. Good value for a self contained apartment and had everything we needed for the two nights. We were going to the arena and the tram is directly outside the apartment so the accomodation was amazing. Very close to lots of shops and food places. Very friendly owner and very responsive when I messaged with questions.

The apartment window we were in was ground floor, and opened out onto an alley that lots of people walked along so we couldn't open it very wide without people looking directly in. Not a big issue as they had a fan for us to use. Still recommend at the price, and not something that affected our stay, but just to note.
