Very clean, comfortable accommodation with more enough space. Quiet at night and early morning.

Booking.com description says 'secure dog paddock', but we arrived to read a sign that said it wasn't. It was hard to exercise the dogs safely around the property. I booked a secure field nearby. Overall, dog tolerant rather than dog friendly. Like many similar properties, we were charged for each dog each night, which, no matter where we stay, feels excessive. Very little choice, so it is usually unavoidable.

Lovely apartment with everything you need. First thought there was limited cooking facilities until we found the portable oven/grill and hob in a kitchen cupboard. We were able to cook a steak dinner and everything was available for us to eat comfortably , even serviettes were provided on the table. Plenty of rabbits to watch in the fields. Hubby took his electric bike and the owner was very helpful in storing it overnight for him .

Can’t think of anything we didn’t like

We loved the location and really liked the accommodation which felt both spacious and cosy; the owner was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and helpful in giving us info about places to eat, taxi companies etc.

Would have like a hob or a couple of electric rings in the kitchen in order to be able to make a bacon sarnie in the morning - I'm not great with a microwave (but understand that's a personal preference and we did know thee wasn't one before we booked) - other than that - perfect!

Good idea for boot stand for mucky shoes Well equipped kitchen mini oven and boiling hob 👍🏻 Separate bins for recycling

Water for washing up was only ever warm and had to run tap and waste water so resorted to boiling kettle Freezer in top of fridge not brilliant ,we had melted Icecream even after turning settings up

Cute cosy chalet, very well thought out ! Had everything we needed including microwave, fridge and selection of cereals and milk for breakfast. Good shower . Very clean . In a lovely setting, woke to birdsong and rabbits playing in the garden .

Some road noise which understandably can't be helped , mattress firm for us ( personal preference). But really no concerns- we had a great stay!! Very impressed.

The cottage was beautiful, clean, airy and it had everything you needed. It was like a home from home. The views around the property were lovely. It had a fantastic gas bbq which we used 3 times while we were there. Lovely garden furniture and dining area so you can enjoy being with family and look at the horses in the paddock. Jeanne was a lovely host and my kids enjoyed playing with Polly the dog and petty the horse.

There was nothing we didn’t like

Beautiful scenery, lovely cottage with all the amenities you can think of, the host was aware we were staying for a wedding and left a lovely surprise bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us which I thought was really sweet :) Jeanne was really accommodating and friendly. Really handy location as well if you’re attending a wedding at Bunny Hill wedding venue (10 minutes away in a car). Wish we had more time to spend at the cottage to get the most out of it! Would recommend for a chilled getaway :)

Nothing, it was a good quality stay.

We stayed for 1 night as we were attending a wedding at Bunny Hill. The location was great. The cabin was cosy, clean, and well thought off. There was fresh milk and coffee in the fridge, ceral, and biscuits. We had a really lovely stay

The hot water tap in the bathroom should have a warning sign as extremely hot and could quite easily cause a burn

Lovely, we stayed in the its floor double room. Very homely, clean and welcoming. Little extras like fresh milk in the fridge was a bonus. Highly recommend 😀

Think maybe look at getting more lights on signage when approaching by car, as the two red triangles were hard to see especially when cars coming the other way.

Lovely cabin, clean and comfortable, everything we needed for the 2 nights we were there. Lovely comfy bed, good size bathroom, fridge with some milk already in there. Tea,coffee, hot chocolate and cereal left for us. Dog treats, towel and bowl for the dog, lovely touches.

No coat hooks, minor floor. Some road noise which wasn’t a problem but could be for light sleepers.
