I came to The Lynch just for one night for a family funeral nearby but could quite happily have stayed all week! I loved the gorgeous house set in beautiful grounds and wish I had more time to explore. I loved the comfy bed and the big bathroom with fluffy towels. The breakfast was absolutely superb and Lynn the housekeeper was absolutely lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she helped me out with a wardrobe malfunction which had me in a panic! :D I also had a very interesting chat with the owner over breakfast

The only thing that would have been helpful would have been an iron in the room but it was explained in the file and Lynn helped me out anyway.

The house is beautiful, the environment relaxing and such a warm welcome from the manager! My room was extremely spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. It was very convenient for me to be so close to the centre of Somerton and yet quietly tucked away. It was lovely to have a walk around the grounds. I will return - and thank you!

If I were to be staying for more than one night, it would be pleasant to have a guest sitting room as well - in such a large house., one expects this. The shower had a noisy drip, which could be disturbing overnight.

Lovely welcoming staff, the breakfasts were superb, bed was extremely comfortable and I had a brilliant sleep. Would be happy to stay here again; I also imagine that in the summer the grounds are brilliant for having a drink ooutside

Some of the decor was a bit old school but it's a matter of personal taste, did not affect stay and experience whatsoever

Everything - the most wonderful piece of Grade 2 property we have stayed in. Wonderfully comfortable and very much felt like home away from home. We will be back again before Xmas . The owner has a fantastic life story to tel and is a wonderful raconteur and his staff were perfect and an excellent reflection of his values.

Nothing.

Beautiful house and gardens, lovely bedroom with great en suite. Friendly owner and excellent manageress who really made the visit 10/10. Fabulous location with free parking on site and good local amenities. Breakfast was amazing.

Can't think of anything to improve the stay, but if forced I'd ask for some of the owner's favourite jazz or classical music to be played during breakfast.

Clean, comfortable, superb breakfast, Lynne was very friendly and helpful as was Heidi who served our breakfast, wished we could have stayed longer as I’m sure Roy the owner, would have had many more stories to share over breakfast. Thank you all a great stay.

Nothing to dislike.

A very pleasant country house property with a lot of character. Very large bedroom with en-suite bathroom and views of the gardens. A quiet location within a short walking distance to town square. Breakfast was 'cooked to order' and very good. Very welcoming hosts.

The staff were very friendly and the location was very peaceful with beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was great in the morning. Perfect for the short stay we were looking for.

There is no reception so it would be helpful to know this beforehand and perhaps be provided with a mobile telephone rather than the landline so we can communicate the check-in time precisely.

Staff were very warm and accomodating. A very comfortable room and ample breakfast.

Lynch Country House hadn`t been advised of my booking and were not ready for us. Thankfully they had space for us. This was a huge relief as I was travelling with my disabled son.
