The Vincent is an exceptional hotel. The staff are amazing, polite, attentive, and work hard. We went for our anniversary weekend and it was wonderful. We got a free upgrade , they came to our room with a beautiful plate of cake with happy anniversary written on in chocolate. We asked for a bottle opener, and within minutes, a lovely lady came and opened our wine and brought wine glasses. The restaurant was wonderful, great food and such lovely staff. Nothing was too much. My partner has a birthday coming up soon, and we are going back to stay. I would recommend The Vincent without hesitation. Wonderful

Beautiful hotel, from walking in the main reception you feel the warm welcome. The staff greet you with such lovely hospitality, the decor is beautiful and warm, we walked into our room it was a wonderful but cosy atmosphere loved the sliding doors to the window painted with ballerinas which also blocked noise out especially being on the front of the hotel with the great view of lord street. huge bed, so comfy. Massive deep bath/shower, water constantly hot, plenty of towels lots of space to move around. Fridge with two bottles of water and milk, safe which you put your own passcode in so at least you don’t forget it. Ironing board and iron which come in handy, hairdryer. Great cocktail bar, love the ambience. Great restaurant, breakfast really good. Staff again warm and friendly..great position for shopping, bars, cafes, restaurants etc

Parking £20 per night, would like hash browns, fried/poached eggs you need to ask for so best to order before you get the rest of your breakfast.. internet not great. Couldn’t really complain about anything really..

When I arrived, I was informed I had been selected as 'guest of the day' and I received an upgraded room (junior suite). The room was amazing, had everything you could want and more, there was even a little plate of chocolates and forest fruits with a nice note from the hotel on the desk. Even things like the fact that there was shampoo, body wash and conditioner in the shower, and hand wash and cream at the sink, the tea and coffeee facilities and cold water in the fridge. There are also lots of nice touches around the hotel and restaurant, e.g. a sign that unattended children would be given an esspresso and a kitten...just lots of things that make you smile and make it feel different from a standard hotel.

Penthouse was amazing bed really comfy. sofa so comfy.Cocktail bar very nice. Good was fine.

No information about how to use coffee machine or how to use TV in bathroom . Run out of Malibu in cocktail bar. Plus fire alarm went off at 4.14 early hours of Sunday. As a fire safety warden I understand what to do in a fire, no one at desk to ask what was going on and eventually the concierge turned up saying false alarm as someone had set alarm off due to vaping. One this was dangerous as no one except myself and another guest came to find out what was going on . And no instructions on how to use sauna.

The staff are amazing, very welcoming.

The lights. I know it's ambience but we ladies need light when doing hair and makeup. The mirror on wall was tinted so didn't help at all. The bathroom is a tad brighter not much thou. So found myself doing my make up and hair in the bathroom. No plug socket near bathroom so was hard to use hair straightener. Says hairdryer but not one included. No sockets by bedside table. But some socket around the room. Other than that, fantastic hotel! Love the Japanese Tub so relaxing. the decor was nice and modern, TV was small, couldn't get some channels due to signal issues or no signal for mobile use and work. But that's not hotels fault. Paintwork needs touch up. Few scuffs here and there. Restaurant was beautiful, nice food, staff were lovely. Enjoyed my stay. Thankyou

Checking in was easy. Staff took our cases and the car key and dealt with those whilst we went for a spa day. Upon our return our cases were in the room. Very modern and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was so warm- deep bath and powerful shower - fabulous! Breakfast was relaxed and there was so much choice - continental or full English. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

Room was slightly chilly when we arrived as the window had been left open- although I liked the sliding screen rather than curtains, once the window was closed.

Gorgeous hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful. We actually got a free upgrade from standard room to suite and Emily went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, we had a wedding not far that didnt start till 2:30pm and she allowed us a late check out included in our room, as I am heavily pregnant in order to make things less stressful. She is an asset to have at the hotel and so pleased we had her looking after us in our stay. Food we got on room service was delicious and so was the breakfast.

The hotel has a really good location which is a few minutes from the train station and looks out to Lord Street. The hotel is very nicely decorated, excellent reception desk team and has a restaurant attached which is great if you are a solo traveller. The room was spacious with everything you would expect and a very comfy bed with plenty of pillows. The room and bathroom were very clean. The breakfast was really good and had an excellent choice of hot food, cereals, pastries etc.

I didn't like the low level lighting in the hotel corridors and in the room. I appreciate that the hotel may be trying to be eco-friendly but not useful when trying to apply make up or read. Also I didn't like the shower/bath configuration. I had to step up onto a wooden trellis and then use a grab rail to throw my leg over the side of the bath/shower. If you have reduced mobility I would ask the hotel in advance if they have an easier shower to use.

Comfy bed, nice full breakfast which was included in my rate. Friendly staff who knew what they were doing.

Parking was on street, pay and display. Booking.Com listing implies that it's free and that it's private hotel parking. Bathroom- Japanese style bath totally useless. Impossible to relax in, needs loads of water to fill and then you can't sit it in for more than five minutes before you get backache from having to lean forward almost clutching your knees. - taps on both bath and sink really awkward to use, no clear Hot, Cold or Off position so you have to fiddle around by trial and error, and it's easy to leave it dripping. I had tried to contact the hotel to clarify both of these questions before travelling, but got no response to either my booking.com message or direct email.

The hotel was extremely comfortable and the staff were excellent. They provided me with a room with a walk in shower, which was perfect. The food in the restaurant was much better than the usual hotel food and I was particularly grateful for the valet parking option which was very welcome after a full day at work.
