It was really cosy and stylish. It had good facilities, a kettle, hair dryer, iron etc. I had a good nights sleep and felt really at home there. There is a separate entrance so no need to go through the bar to get to the accommodation. Was really well located with a Co-op and a pizza place across the road. 7mins to Southport by car. Staff were lovely and the room was topped up with coffee and biscoff each day and the bins emptied every day.

Friday night was a little loud up until midnight but seems that it’s just a really good pub so that’s to be expected. Food service at the pub stopped at 6pm which was a bit early for me with work but I was able to get food to eat in the room from the local shops and amenities.

Large rooms, comfortable beds,good bathrooms.Tea and coffee facilities.Friendly staff. Accommodation separate from pub. Spar and co-op across road also subway and pizza place. Five mins down the road very nice pubs and restaurants ( luckily as ours had no food) Unfortunately there was no food as chef hadn't come in.

Building work next door but not fault of accommodation. You can hear pub noise in rooms, but music finished early enough. Must be underfloor heating as no control. It's a good 30/40mins walk into city center, about £6/7 for taxi. Presume should be buses near to city.

Very good size ,comfortable huge bed ,clean nice and quiet and private ,free parking, Food in pub downstairs was nice and reasonably priced

TV played up ,and as we were in roof space the rafters were very low which we kept banging our heads on sort of funny at first but as no protection it hurt and it got a bit to warm but its better than too cold . All this was not bad just a niggling annoyance not enough to spoil in fact we will be rebooking soon

Room was spacious, clean and the bed was very comfy. Staff very courteous in the bar downstairs. Good atmosphere.

Think Arthurs are missing a trick with not serving breakfast to their guests. When asked the pub didnt open until mid day on the Sunday. The price is quite high for room only in my humble opinion. We stayed as it was near to an event we went to on the Sat night. I would recommend tho and would stay again.

On first glances it is a stunning, really lovely room. The presentation was excellent and it was really clean. The toilet & shower have automatic lights, and the room has a selection of soft lighting .or full room lights . The bed was huge and there were loads of pillows, very comfy and slept well. Plugs on both sides of the bed . Very handy. The bath water was lovely and hot and very relaxing. Bathroom seemed to have more head space than the bedroom.. The location was excellent.

I'm not the tallest person in the world, and I cracked my head twice getting out of bed and once making coffee .. It's not like I didn't know they were there , but getting out of the bed you automatically stand up .. not crouch, especially in the night to go to the loo..😳 The bath in front of the shower was very difficult to get the plug up.to drain the water out .( used two spoons in the end) Parking was tight, and on the other side of the pub, access only from the outside not through the pub. it was raining heavily the day I stayed so yes, I got soaked . Ate in the pub, and it was ok ..the fish was frozen supermarket fish .. not freshly battered fish. Although good value. Loads of stairs ..

Excellent location near a venue we were visiting. Easy accessible carpark and separate entrance for hotel residents. Comfortable large bed, very warm, had to turn heating down. Good sized shower and quality soap and gels.

Some noise from the busy road, our room was at the front. Steep steps to first floor might cause problems for some people, but help with luggage was offered. Minor point, needs extra electric sockets, lots of things to charge these days next to bed.

Very friendly staff on arrival. We were in a superior double for 2 nights which was a great size with a massive bed. Lovely decor and plenty of space for getting ready. We were staying for a wedding in Meols Hall and it was a great location, 5-10 mins walk around the corner.

Our daughter and her partner stayed in a standard double room and it was quite small but they only stayed 1 night so was fine for just the 1 night.

Staff very friendly and helpful - room was very clean and comfortable - food was good and a nice atmosphere in the bar and lounge area

Was a little noisy when in room up to 11.15pm with music downstairs that was loud and some returning back to rooms late on non carpeted stairs and lower door slamming shut. Also could smell cigarette smoke in room from smokers outside if window was open - this said, this would not stop us staying here again in the future - it’s a very nice place. Just comments only for future residents to consider if wanting to book.

The staff were extremely friendly and made us feel very welcome. The check in time was early (2pm) and we didn't have to leave until 11am. We were easily able to park in the hotel car park. The suite was really quirky, being in the eves. The bedroom had a small sofa and a mini fridge, which were a bonus and the bed was really comfortable. We really chose this for the two baths (as we only have a shower at home), and they did not disappoint. There was a large TV in the bathroom as well as the bedroom.

The only issue was that there was only one rail with three coat hangers for your clothes. The room would benefit from a chest of drawers, as I realise that the shape of the room would not allow for a wardrobe.

Clean comfortable rooms and lovely staff

We had to wait 45 minutes to order breakfast and it took a further 30 mins to be cooked. We ordered poached eggs which were overdone and the coffee was awful. We also feel like the music downstairs shouldn't be played so early on a Sunday morning as not good fot guests....especially if the place doesn't open till 9.30am ? Thanks
