The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and it had windows that open, which is important for me. I loved the Crabtree & Evelyn products in the bathroom. The breakfast was delicious.

A small thing by way of feedback. A suggestion, not a complaint. There was only one small qr code in room to link to guest info, which I didn't see until nearly the end of our stay as it was on the opposite bedside table to where I was sleeping. Need these on the desk or dressing table as well. Hard copies in room would be helpful for people who don't use technology. Some info like breakfast times hard to find.

The room size and layout, plus cleanliness and comfort. The ambience of the hotel was excellent, we liked the ground floor layout. The breakfasts were superb, great selection and quality.

All the staff were very young and inexperienced, didn't seem any senior people around. bar staff seemed particularly busy and panicking, needed a level, cool head around. I didn't like the thought of booking up to go in the swimming pool, restricted access, we have children who love swimming, plus a busy schedule.

It was very convenient to get to and fairly close to everywhere we wanted to go. We were greeted warmly. The rooms were spacious and the bathroom very updated and modern. We appreciated everything that was offered in the room. The beds were very comfortable. I am so glad that the hotel offered fans in the room because it was really warm and the fans kept the air moving. We had the included breakfast and we were well-fed! We were able to eat breakfast and dinner at the hotel which saved us a bunch of driving around. Would definitely stay here again.

Just that the room was hot, but this must be a common complaint because we had 2 fans in the closet that we were able to hook up. No other complaints.

Plenty of room in the carpark. Room was comfortable and nicely decorated and stylish. Free cookies on arrival were a nice touch.

The room appeared to have air conditioning, however it wasn’t working, but there was a freestanding fan in the cupboard. The floor of the room we were in had a very slight rumbling that must’ve been caused by something to do with the building’s heating or ventilation system, but it didn’t impact the stay at all. We sometimes like to listen to music on YouTube, but although the TV was a smart Samsung, the smart features weren’t accessible due to the hotel software on the TV.

Great location, lovely welcome on arrival, great room and well stocked bathroom. Room big enough for 3 adults and sofa bed a good size. Bar was added bonus. Loved the Eh Up Duck cocktails. Swimming pool a real treat. Breakfast extra but good value and well stocked too. too.

Just tiny things but did not distract from excellent stay. Booked room for 3 and only given 2 cups. We were near the lift and while very convenient, we could hear the lift especially late night and early morning but maybe just because two weddings were on while we stayed. Parking extra but felt worth it.

The room was comfortable and although it was very busy at breakfast, there was no shortage of food, either in choice or quantity. The weather was hot and the availability of a water dispenser in the public area was a nice touch.

We ate in the restaurant in the evening. That was disappointing. It took quite some time for our main meal to arrive and the waitress seemed to be “lost”. I can only guess that she was still being trained but looked unhappy about it. She took it upon herself to ask if we’d like the desert menu - before we had finished eating our main meal. It then took numerous efforts when we were actually ready to order a desert to get her attention. In the meantime she dropped chips from another person’s order on the floor - and then did nothing to clear them up despite pointing them out to her.

We had a one night stay 2 adults and 2 children. It was a very comfortable hotel. Resturant and bar staff very helpful and friendly. Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Lovely decor.

£5 car park fee just because we booked through booking.com. Children were disappointed they couldn't use the pool after their breakfast as there was swimming lessons on. We couldn't wait til 12pm.as we had a schedule to keep to. No staff at check outdesk when checking out. No way to communicate to staff if there is any issues before leaving. I had tried ringing reception from our room before checking out but no reply either.

The room was clean and some bits were clearly recently renovated, like the bathroom. The room was spacious with a separate table which was nice and the decor was nice. We liked the pool downstairs with the sauna and the steam room. The location is also good, it's central Stoke on Trent (Hanley) but it's not in too noisy location.

No fan in the bathroom, it needs it as the walls are starting to peel already. The £5 for the car par as a paying guest was a disappointment. I don't think paying guests should be paying for a car park.

I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The room was spotlessly clean, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at ease. All the amenities we needed were available, and upon request, a mini refrigerator was promptly provided, which was essential for storing our baby’s milk. The staff members were a highlight of our stay—they were incredibly polite, kind, and always ready to assist with a smile. Every little request we had was taken into consideration and addressed promptly. The breakfast offered a variety of choices, with everything being warm and fresh. The quality of the food was excellent. Additionally, the restaurant and bar exceeded our expectations with their extensive menus and delicious options. Room service was also top-notch, providing many choices that catered to all our needs.

The only problem was the pool; though lovely, it was so busy that there was no space to move, and with a 1:1 swimming lesson happening at the same time (which didn’t seem to be organized by the hotel), it felt really overcrowded as everyone had to move to one corner, prompting us to leave. I would suggest the leisure team take fewer bookings for the pool to improve the experience.
