I was very happy with my stay at The Old Talbot Hotel. The bedroom was equiped with everything I needed, it was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The bed was really comfortable and there was enough room for me to set up my toddler's travel cot. The bathroom was modern and shower had excellent water pressure (nothing worse than a dribbly shower). Netflixs on the TV was an added bonus for my toddler. Parking available outside the room and the hotel was within easy driving distance to the wedding venue I was visiting. I would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

The toilet roll holder was broken - not that it bothered me or affected my stay - more of an FYI!! It would have been even better had breakfast been included in the price I paid.

I stayed in room 1. It was lovely, very cosy and had a cute Terrace outside. As I was travelling for work and arrived late/left early I didn’t get a chance to use this. Facilities were plentiful and the room was very clean. It very much felt like a bedroom rather than a hotel room, which is a welcome thing when you are away so much. Staff were friendly and walked me to my room which I thought was very nice of them.

I’m being extremely picky here but as someone with a bad back the bed was way too soft. It’s a real shame as I travel to MK weekly for work and would have liked to stay on a weekly basis. This one thing has meant I won’t be able to stay again and I am really disappointed as I thought I’d finally found a great place to stay. The coffee machine wouldn’t work and as I left before 7am there was no one around to help.

Lovely little cottages on site of the pub. Stunning inside, very clean, kettle ect there and some toiletries and some amazing brownies!

A fan is needed!!! It’s unbearably hot in there. A member of staff behind the bar actually gave us theirs for the night. One of the chefs on our first night was really rude to us when we asked a question and I don’t expect to be spoken to like that. We did however get sorted when we spoke to a couple doing health and safety at the pub who went out of their way to help us with our issue and every other member of staff were amazing! Shame on one member to let the whole experience be anything other than a 10/10. Will 100% be rebooking again.

Really good location for silverstone Beautiful hotel rooms and really nice that they're individual little cottages. Massive rooms. Really nice touch with the Brownies, coffee machine, squash and hot chocolate. Glad there was plug sockets on each side of the bed and also by the big mirror as we stay away a lot and this is always a major bug bare of mine. Food was lovely - although a little pricey, the portions were big and it was fresh and not chain food which justifies it

The shower temperature seem to have a mind of its own. It was a good temperature and then seemed to go scalding hot and back again. Maybe a suggestion for a black out blind that you can pull over the door window

Pub was in a good location which was easy to find. We had 3 beautiful rooms for our party of 5 adults and 2 dogs. The rooms were within a separate building alongside the pub car park. Each room was a good size with modern decor. Very thoughtful extras such as a chocolate brownie, lime cordial, Nespresso coffee machine with 4 pods. Nice welcome card from the chambermaid. Dinner and lunch menus in the room so that we could peruse before we went next door to the pub. Bathroom good size with good quality toiletries, and large soft towels. Evening meal very good, and great service, reasonably priced. We ate outside in the pub garden which had plenty of comfy picnic benches, and pretty flower beds. Good free WIFI. We were travelling with 2 dogs, and they were made very welcome.

Breakfast menu was limited, and quite slow service. Once it arrived, food was good, and reasonably priced. There were a few scuffs/chips on the bedroom walls, which could be easily remedied.

Absolutely lovely. Stunning place. So clean. So new and modern looking. So homely. Will definitely stay again if in the area. It’s on a main road but set back and I couldn’t hear the road at night. Slept really well

Nothing I really didn’t like except there were some treats in a pot that looked like they’d been there for months and I’d booked with breakfast included and there was no hotel breakfast only pub breakfast which started at 10:30 and I had to leave for work by 8:30 but working with the hotel on a refund for breakfast. This wouldn’t stop me staying again. They’d stopped doing breakfast but I’d booked before and hadn’t been told and no refund given so hopefully now I’ll be given one now it’s been identified

Room lovely with plenty of tea and coffee and even provided with little home made brownies. Towels soft and fluffy and bed and pillows super comfortable. A lovely little space well decorated and nice to be able to sit outside and have a drink. Pub lovely although we never had chance to try the food.

Only addition that would be helpful in the room would be a mini fridge to keep milk cool for a cuppa. Small milks provided but only 4 which we used in first two drinks. The hotel did give us a jug of milk but would go over quickly if nowhere to store cool.

We received a very friendly welcome when we arrived, our room was very cosy and warm, nicely decorated and clean and was well equipped with toiletries, a coffee machine as well as the usual hospitality tray. Car parking just outside the door which was very handy. The pub itself was nice, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was very good, nicely cooked and fresh.

We couldn’t find any real fault with anything at The Talbot, overall we were impressed and enjoyed all aspects of our stay.

Room was lovely and comfortable and was decorated nicely with some nice touches. Shower was very good and bed was comfortable and room was warm. Private seating area outside room Staff were very friendly and couldn't have been more welcoming

There was a breakfast menu in the room that offered a good selection but when we went to have breakfast we were told there wasn't any. We could have a bacon or sausage sandwich and that's all, we had a vegetarian in our party and there was nothing for her. We asked for a slice of toast and they said they couldn't do that so we left. I suggested to the mn behind the bar that the menu should be removed from the room and he seemed amused.

I liked they were separate accommodations from the pub so you could get access to them without having to go thru the pub. Also there was no breakfast available but they offered to make us bacon sandwich in New Years day which was very kind of them. Staff very pleasant and welcoming. Would stay again

Price difference for the room I stayed in to what my family stayed wasn't really justified, I had a deluxe room and the only difference was it was slightly bigger.
