Staff friendly, lots of facilities on site to use.

Wasn't made aware before stay that parking had to be paid for separately, I may have not checked throughly, but £10 for the night when you've already paid for your room feels somewhat steep.

Room was comfortable & the instructions given on check-in were informative & easy to use/understand. Breakfast was good (see below for further explanation on this area).

1. When checking in I could of been reminded that breakfast wasn't included in the rate, & I could of then decided then if I wanted to pay for breakfast either then or what the process was to pay on the day, rather than getting to the breakfast room to be told it wasn't included & then having to go back to the room to get my credit card - This was not only embarassing but also as my mobility is limited was not ideal. 2. There were no tongs to pick up bread for toast, as I was suffering with a cold I would not potentially contaminate the bread for others picking a slice up after me, however not everyone woud be this self aware!

Easy check in, staff were always friendly on the front desk. We also liked the fact extra coffee sachets for the room were provided at Reception. Good location as easy walk to Kenrick Park tram stop to get the tram towards Town Hall. Breakfast, we saw no fried eggs at the buffet area, we asked if fried eggs were available and the kitchen made them fresh for us - no issues at all. Wellness facilities, very good, one of the strongest saunas for heat we have experienced.

Men's changing room in the wellness area could do with an upgrade and a deep clean, but it didn't put us off from having a good time.

the staff on arrival where very good helpful the room was above what we expected really enjoyed our stay would definitely use again it was real home from home ,obviously caters for longer stay customers, even had iron and board ,hairdryer ,the bathroom was spotless ,tv and kettle which for 1 night stay is essential to us ,everything you could want for relaxing stay ,we didn't use the restaurant or gym facilities but all looked well maintained and clean

the only thing we found a problem for us we smoke and had a room other end of hotel away from main entrance so a long walk to get outside to smoking area ,but that was our problem not the hotel

Staff were rude. Sitting in sauna and the staff member opened door and said “that’s time get out” so rude the way she spoke and tone she used. Also had an issue with room service was handed a piece of paper with qr code to book room service ordered and then was told that you can only have pizza after 9pm. I explained that I had ordered from the 24/7 room service menu and also spoken to reception about our plans. We arrive late so it was a quick trip to pool then room service and there was no mention at all about a reduced menu. Just small things that really let the stay down that could be easily rectified.

The staff and how clean the hotel was on the inside. The interior of the hotel, including the room, is beautiful, modern, and clean. The breakfast was above average and had a good selection. The room was warm and comfortable. Enjoyed spa

Entrance not appealing didn't have the wow factor or curb appeal. Needs to match the interior of the hotel. Also, having seating at the front by the car park and entrance ruined aestetic of the entrance. Outdoor seating is more suited to the area next to the lounge on the green area, especially for smokers. The rooms were nice and modern, but they needed to place kettle next to sockets for use. Also, getting in and out of the shower was an issue due to the positioning of the shower door next to the sink, and a rail for the hand towel is needed. Mirror behind door should be placed elsewhere, maybe where the luggage rack was. Spa could do with updating like the hotel.

The staff were delightful. Mairita on reception was particularly helpful, she went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. The rooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. I was here for work and spent a fair amount of time in my room so made good use of the desk and fridge that were provided. The large carpark was good as I drive a sizeable vehicle.

There was a noisy door outside my room on the first night which would not have been noticeable had I been one of the ones up early for the gym, however I was actually having a lie in so they very kindly moved me to a different part of the hotel.

Lovely hotel, staff were all so friendly and helpful - great first impressions when you walk in. Modern decor. Restaurant lovely to look at however we didn’t eat in, rooms were lovely and cold from air conditioning, can alter to heating if you wanted to - not stuffy at all on a hot day. We asked reception for a fan too this was no problem. Room service great. Outdoor seating was a nice touch, reception area had a lovely ambiance. Room was very clean. Swimming pool and spa facilities were our favourite part. Kept lovely and clean and included with price of hotel, so pleased with our stay will be returning.

The only slight downside was it is out of town so had to travel if you wanted to go anywhere of interest, however we stayed here as we needed to be local to the west mids ambulance hub so hotel was close to that. Taxis and Ubers available however nowhere was really in walking distance. Other than that, hotel itself was beautiful & very happy with our stay!

Receptionist upgraded my room to one near the entrance, restaurant etc when she heard I have difficulty walking. The room was amazing...clean ,spacious, cool(it was August and hot), and nothing was too much trouble for the receptionist when I asked for help...she came to car to help me get my luggage and checked if room had a shower as I cannot get in/out of bath. All staff were very helpful friendly and willing to chat a bit about themselves when asked....fantastic in these days of increasingly robotic technology.

The food served in the restaurant was not that great...chicken was too tough to eat and dry. But staff were really lovely and I just needed something to eat before sleeping as I was very tired when I arrived. Would like to have used the spa facilities but did not have time as I only stayed one night.
