The place was amazing. Everything you could wish for was provided. Christmas touches were added The host was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the town and places to eat. Breakfast was absolutely out of this world. The menu was very extensive with so much choice. We would definitely recommend this place. if you are visiting. Great place to stay in Winchester.

Absolutely pleased with everything. One small note would be to leave more tea bags. We would have loved another cuppa 😊

A very pleasant room in a lovely house. The landlord was really friendly & made me feel welcome. Although there was nobody greeting guests in person, the information left out was thorough & easy to follow.

It was very hot overnight, I think due to the thickness of the duvet. I had to sleep without it as I was too hot. There was no information about wifi that I could see on any of the welcome info, (I forgot to ask as well) so I assumed wifi wasn't available.

I liked the room and bathroom and people. I liked the idea of getting breakfast delivered on a tray etc.

I think there should be choice of breakfast. I wasn’t asked anything about my dietary requirements so a lot of food was probably wasted because I don’t eat dairy etc. I wasn’t able to have all the food i would have liked either e.g. would have eaten cereal if there was other milk.

Lovely twin room with en suite bathroom. Richard was a very welcoming and considerate host. Breakfast tray was fully loaded with a nice selection of items. Clear instructions for check in were given pre-arrival and everything felt very well organised. We were attending an event at the University and the location was ideal.

No issues - we’d definitely stay again.

The location was perfect for us as my daughter was visiting the University Open Day and there was off road parking. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. Richard as a welcoming and friendly host who spoilt us with all the delights from the breakfast tray- it was a feast!

Very clean, exceptionally friendly host. The breakfast tray was excellent and really well stocked. The house has been decorated beautifully for Christmas, inside and out, and loved the Christmas touches to both the breakfast crockery and bed linens. The location was good, not too far to walk, and easily reached by public transport.

Nothing, have booked again for next year already.

The breakfast was exceptional! well presented, good range of products, really good. Host went out of his way to get Earl Grey tea for my wife The walk into the town centre was about 20 minutes, so great location.

What's not to like!!

Lovely welcome. Room was really clean and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. Little Christmas touches....Christmas crockery and napkins and amazing lights at front of house....were very lovely. Very convenient for city centre. Would definitely book again if visiting Winchester.

Everything. The location was close enough to walk to the centre, although the walk back up the hill wasn't the best. Richard certainly made us more than welcome & the breakfast was superb.

Very clean, generous breakfast delivered to your door. Good parking. Did the job for a 1 night stay (we were going to a wedding nearby).

We mistakenly thought we'd booked a hotel - this is very much a B&B and think that should be clearly stated. Bathroom was very small, decour dated and sound travels very easily.
