Everything! We loved this place! Great quaint picturesque place, right in front of moonstone beach! Super clean, great value: Rooms are modern, sleek and comfortable! With a dining area, kitchenette with a good size refrigerator, real china, fire place, bathtub and separate shower. No carpets, which is great for my allergies! Upon our check in we got a nice glass of wine as welcome and brownies! They have complementary coffee in the lobby throughout the day and brownies at 5pm! They deliver a charming basket with breakfast to your door every morning! What's more, while in the middle of our trip, we had to cancel another hotel and call this hotel directly to ask if they could accommodate us 1 night earlier, and they did! On our first night we asked for a recommendation on a dining place, they sent us to Madeline's a great French restaurant with great food and we even got a 10% discount! On our second night, we were tired and went to the bar they have on site, grabbed some food that was fresh and prepared right there! Brownies from the front desk and some wine and we could rest for the night with the fireplace on! On the morning of our check out, the hotel manager was extremely nice! I wanted to buy a couple of trinkets and he gave me those as a courtesy! I'm recommending this place to everyone and when we come back to Cambria, we'll definitively stay here!

Always a lovely breakfast basket: lemon cake, oat cake with raisins, bananas, apples, string cheese. We haul the basket to the Adirondack chairs with a blanket (supplied by the facility) and sip our coffee to watch to fog burn off over the ocean. The perfect start to any day.

As with anything today, it could always be cheaper to enjoy a get-away. There is an extra charge each night for the dog(s). I don't think the clean up for the dog is any more after the fourth day than the first, so I wish it was a less expensive, one-time pet fee.

The rooms were clean and comfortable directly across the low traffic road from the beach. Plenty of seating for wave watching and the morning pastry and juice baskets were a delightful touch albeit a bit late for this early riser. Staff was friendly and accommodating and yes, as was described, they are extremely dog friendly.

No room makeup service provided as usual and customary, by request only (with an envelope for the expected remuneration) and after 3 nights.

When we discovered that my husband would not be able to step into the shower in our standard room, the staff were kind enough to let us move into a handicapped room as soon as it was available. Extra work for them, but no extra charge for us. - We don't travel with our dogs, but really enjoy watching the dogs that are staying at the Inn. - Most of all, we enjoy sitting outside at Cambria Shores Inn- The landscaping is nice. We sit on Adirondack chairs and watch the ocean, which is just across the street.

The breakfast basket did not serve our needs, as it came later than we wanted, but mostly, we preferred to go out for breakfast where we could get hot food and a good amount of protein to start the day. For those who want a light, leisurely breakfast, the basket has a nice selection of breads, fruits, and juice, complete with plates, glasses and cheerful cloth napkins.

I loved the breakfast baskets that came in the morning! The homemade breads were so delicious!

Although we loved the baskets, seeing more of a variety in the basket would have been nice. Plus our room was one of the only ones that didn’t have air conditioning and it was one of the hottest weeks of the summer. We had a patio and a fireplace which was nice, but the air conditioner would have been a nice bonus. Luckily we brought a fan with us and it wasn’t stifling.

Cant beat the location and views, located right across from beach. Enjoyed long walks along the beach and trails - so convenient to be able to stop by “home” at the inn as needed. Very nice new renovated details throughout room. Deep soaking bathtub. Had a patio with nice ocean view (not private, so expect to encounter your neighbors :). Lisa and other staff were very kind. Free glass of wine upon arrival, cookies and brownies in office were nice touches. A few doors down from the Sea Chest restaurant, highly recommended (cash only). The morning basket was charming, thank you, not really a healthy breakfast but you can always supplement by yourself! DVDs were a nice idea, I was excited by the novelty, but we couldn’t get any discs to play all the way through, they were all scratched up. :)

Soft bed, lumpy pillows, so I never had very good sleep (although cozy). A little warm on early August night, no a/c but a small fan in the room would be helpful. Can’t open the front window for breeze because it gets loud in the very early morning with the sound of people working (?), doors, cars. Our first morning we were awakened to the sound of some kind of pounding outside? Might have been an anomaly.

The location was great. Room was clean bed not so comfortable. The breakfast basket was not good at all they should not call it a bread basket and the rooms are all partial view. The staff was great. They really don’t have room service. They do serve a little food out on the wine tasting patio but it’s limited and when the foods gone, it’s gone. They do not offer breakfast as I had stated this is the bread basket which really is just choose apples banana, and orange juice. I would stay there again just be more prepared.

They should give extra towels. I didn’t like that they don’t have food on the property only a little bit of dinner food and really no breakfast so the bread basket consist of Apple banana, some pastry orange juice and string cheese.

Very well maintained older property. Rooms look to have been redone and they are lovely. Fireplace and jacuzzi tub were especially nice to have. The views could not be beat - loved having morning coffee and evening wine in the provided adirondack chairs overlooking the ocean and beautiful sunsets. Boardwalk and beach access was directly across from the property. Morning breakfast basket brought to the room was an especially nice touch.

Breakfast basket could have used some variety - same thing each morning. Added protein such as hard boiled eggs would have been nice. Still, it was very nice to have.

Beautiful location on the Central California Coast. The property is on a slight hill so it affords a nicer view of the ocean and beach than surrounding hotels. It is super dog-friendly and while we didn't have a pooch it was fun seeing all the doggos running around living their best life. The morning breakfast basket is a nice touch and the staff are super friendly. Looking forward to coming back!

I loved our stay at this inn. Right over the road from Moonstone Beach and the boardwalk, it's in a great location. Lovely sea views, ample parking and lots more. Cookies, brownies and wine tasting in the lobby. Breakfast delivered to your door each morning. Just a few minutes drive from the town. Walking on the boardwalk every evening, Peaceful, bliss! Hopefully stay here again one day.
