We loved our stay in the secret cottages. Well appointed, fun vibe, and a super good location. We ate nearby at the Glenn Ellen Star, and wine tasted at Talisman across the street. In the morning we went for breakfast down the street to Le Pascals, a great French cafe. The best collection of pillows and towels. We had a shower and a large jetted tub in our room. And plenty of fun snacks There was a coffeemaker in the room where we got enough to get us out of the house and on towards breakfast. A cute patio that looks over the river, which we could hear softly all night.

During the winter we were there (Feb 2024), the inn is rebuilding their restaurant and bar. When it is finished they hopefully will offer breakfast as a part of the daily rate at the inn

We really loved the Glen Ellen Inn and Cottages. We loved that Calabasas Creek runs behind the property,and added the soothing sound of moving water. The view from the deck and yard space in our cottage was amazing. The space was lovely and romantic. We loved the jacuzzi tub and steam shower in the room, and a very comfortable bed. Just a small walk to the local grocery store, saloon and breakfast spot. 1 mile to Benzinger Winery where we did tastings, and they give you a 2 for 1 at their sister property Imagery. Close to Sonoma city, but small town quiet and friendliness.

Not really a bad thing... We look forward to returning another time and experiencing the restaurant/bar at the front of the property, after renovations are finished.

Rooms are quiet, cozy and comfortable. Love the fireplace. Great shower. Ooodles of towels. I like that it is within walking distance to a couple of nice restaurants and a little market.

A good reading lamp would be appreciated. The many decorative pillows are cute, but there are too many; there's no place to put them, except on the floor. I wish there were some flexibility in charges. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to leave a day early and would have greatly appreciated a refund on the third night. As most of the other rooms were unoccupied, it's not like the room would have been booked anyway.

I stayed in cottage #1, it was fairly spacious, the bed was comfortable, the spa tub was amazing, outside the cottage is a beautiful setting, it is close to a quaint grocery store, and the neighborhood is quiet and feels safe and friendly. The hosts refilled snacks, waters, daily and were very communicative.

It is very open, with a skylight and large French-like doors, and I found no real way to darken the room so I am glad I brought my sleep mask so that I could nap. It was kind of busy as far as set-up, meaning there was a lot of space and there was a lot of stuff in that space and I would have liked a few less chairs, or decorations.

A beautifully appointed little cottage with high-quality bedding and towels, lots of pillows. A great jacuzzi tub. Complimentary snacks were a very nice touch. At the back of the tiny property is a seating area with comfy chairs that overlooks a creek. Great outdoor vibe just steps away from your door! It's obvious that the owner of these cottages has put a lot of thought into creating a nice experience for her guests! Convenient location, walking distance to everything in Glen Ellen and easy drive to many vineyards.

Absolutely magical. Like a thicket from a Disney movie without the need for personal tragedy lol. Everyone around there in the neighborhood was friendly (I play a lot of Pokémon go so am out a lot) and all the staff I encountered were boisterous and helpful

The surrounding environment of course, but also that bit of magic that the personalized decorum imbued.

Perfect location to get to Sonoma and Nappa. The cottage was very cute, quiet, and clean. Glenn Ellen Market is great, and breakfast at the Garden Cafe was awesome. (Across the street)

Unfortunately they were remodeling the martini bar. We were looking forward to that.

The cozy feel of the property, contactless check-in, the owner was so accommodating responsive. Our cottage was clean and cozy, and the property was just enchanting! All of the amenities, the small details, like a special makeup towel, a shower steamer, filtered water for the coffee, and a rubber ducky for the jacuzzi bath. The fireplace was great, too. On-site parking! And we LOVED the town of Glen Ellen! So many great food and drink options a walking distance away. Glen Ellen Star and the Garden Court Cafe are amazing, and the folks at the Jack London Lodge saloon were super cool about me cheering on my Astros in the World Series! Fantastic stay, and can’t wait to go back!

Loved the cute cottages and area they are in by a river/brook. Wonderful amenities and very comfortable. My husband loved the steam shower. We will come back for these reasons and great quiet location.

Gee… can’t say there was anything wrong. Sorry they closed their restaurant but they are going to have it replaced by full bar which we’d love to see when it opens.

Beautiful, calm and felt very private. The communication, personalized attention, and efforts made to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Karen was friendly, respectful and courteous. Excellent and comfortable cottages and would highly recommend!

Renovations to the main inn and restaurant were occurring, but I can’t wait to go back and see how they chose to improve it! nice to know they keep improving to provide the best experience possible.
