Great location, helpful staff, very clean and comfortable (although a little outdated) rooms. The Cheesecake Factory attached to the hotel was really convenient. This hotel is ideal for large groups or families especially. I liked how the lower level had easy beach access.

The rooms and carpet and curtains could use a little update. The windows going out to the beach from the porch on the lower level were really foggy. The room telephones could use an update. They should also consider putting an ice machine on the lower level as well and installing a vending machine or somewhere in the hotel to get basics. The store next door is closed up so it would be convenient for the hotel to have a few items on hand for purchase.

I have stayed here a few times and every stay seems to get better. We had a second floor room with a balcony overlooking the beach and volleyball courts within Marina del Rey Harbor. We had a great evening having dinner at the Warehouse then caught the show at the Comedy Store and finally had drinks on our balcony. We had Starbucks and a nice breakfast from Doordash delivered and again, had our meal on the balcony and chatting with people passing by. It may not sound like much unless you appreciate the quiet, location, accessibility and economy of this place. We do appreciate those things and we will be back. Well this was my bad as we should have brought drinks, snacks or a nice bottle of wine with us but I forgot. The room has a fridge but not stocked! So we had to travel a bit to stock up but it was worth it!

The room was perfect. The area was great and the price was just right :-). I would definitely recommend going to this establishment to stay.

The instant coffee was questionable. there was no hot water to make the coffee. The staff was busy talking to themselves and did not notice that I left two cups full of instant coffee waiting for water that did not exist. I left the cups with the instant coffee at the table but nobody noticed and asked me if I needed help. there were too busy having a conversation among themselves

After a long flight from London, it was lovely to find such a great room with its terrace and brilliant view over Mother's Beach. It was easy to walk to Venice Beach and along to Santa Monica Pier where we could enjoy the surroundings and the local bars and restaurants. We also took an Uber up to Hollywood which was close enough to be practical even on a budget. The staff we met were all friendly and charming and ready to help with all our queries. We'd recommend the Foghorn Harbor Inn to anyone visiting the area and would book again in future. Thanks for a great stay!

Unfortunately breakfast is not included but 5mn walk and nice place to have breakfast at a reasonable price. Cheesecake factory next door for a nice diner. Need a reservation. Just on little beach in front on marina.

This was a good value, small, older motel right on the beach at the marina. It has a great view, although our room did have one since it was on the back side. The bed was really, really comfortable. It was an easy 15-20 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

A coffee maker in the room would have been nice.

This family run hotel was such a good find and is a real gem. The location is perfect with an amazing view of the marina and the beach just a few feet away. The staff are lovely and can't do enough to help. Rooms are spacious and very clean with a large fridge, microwave and an endless supply of Nespresso coffee on hand. We initially booked for one night and had a first floor room and we're able to book for a second night. We needed to move to the ground floor but our room there was equally amazing and the manager helped us move. There were lots of nice places to eat and the hotel was within walking distance of South Beach. What a lovely experience. We will definitely return one day!

The location couldn’t be more perfect, just at the beach and a walking distance from Venice

The cleaning service didn’t do anything for 3 days, I don’t need a detailed cleaning, but it would be nice to have our towels changed and rubbish bin emptied
