I stayed with my family for six nights, and it was an incredibly joyful and memorable experience. We chose Hampton Inn based on its high ratings and its convenient location near the beach. From the moment we arrived, the reception staff was warm and welcoming. I booked a guest room with two queen beds and an additional complimentary bed for the baby. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, making us feel as though we were sleeping on clouds. The room service was professional and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect. The breakfast offered each morning was absolutely delicious and flavorful. One of the standout features was the 24/7 availability of a coffee machine for guests, as well as the thoughtful addition of a personal coffee maker in our room. The hot jacuzzi and swimming pool were absolutely fantastic and added to the relaxing experience. I honestly have nothing negative to report. Last year, I stayed at the Hampton by Hilton John Lennon Airport in Liverpool, UK, and the experience was just as luxurious and outstanding as the Santa Monica branch. Large room, clean and comfortable.

Check in- reception made the process more difficult than it should have been. For some reason our name with booking.com didn’t exactly match our passport- was a combination of both my husband and my name. The staff member could see both names on our passport but refused to use common sense. Stated she couldn’t check us in and we needed to contact booking.com. This had not occurred at any other hotel with using booking.com which was stated. After reception staff checked with her manager, he stated it was fine- pretty much should not have even been raised. Other issue was lack of staff on at breakfast. Breakfast area was dirty and surfaces needed to be cleaned in this space.

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. It was my 3rd choice, but will now be my 1st if I stay here again. The location for what I needed was great, the room was roomy and clean, the breakfast was substantial (hot/cold, great selection of breads, yoghurt, fruit, juices, waffles, coffee/teas, non-dairy milk options, plenty of seating). This was a budget friendly, family freindly option that exceeded my expectations. Only thing was parking charge was $52/day. Too too much but sadly this is the going rate around here at hotels and sometimes feels like they are conspiring. I was bummed that my Hilton Honors membership got demoted based on 'lack of use' so no more complimentary water - but this is on Hilton corp, not the hotel. Hilton shouldn't expire your points or demote you bc you haven't stayed at their property in 12 mos. How do they expect product loyalty like this?

Location was great! Our room was spacious enough for two adults and two teens. The breakfast was good...eggs, toast, cereal, Danish, muffins, yogurt, etc. Something to please everyone's pallet. Three blocks to Santa Monica Pier 66 & beach. Several restuarants within walking distant (Mel's Dinner was great)! Nice shopping, strolling on pedestrian friendly promenade. Trader Joe's grocery and Target nextdoor. Oh, and the staff is excellent. Maritza was super sweet!

Bed was comfy, yet the fitted sheets would come undone while sleeping. Thinking you might need to upgrade those. Never had that issue before at a Hampton. There in lies the reason we always stay at Hampton. No surprises.

We chose this hotel because of its excellent location in Santa Monica, one of the best neighborhoods in Los Angeles for tourists. It's safe, quiet, and close to the one of the must-see attractions in the whole LA area, Santa Monica Pier. The hotel is also close to Metro Rail station, which is very helpful while going to Downtown, Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, and many other attractions, because taxi to that destinations may cost you a fortune, and you also may get stuck in notorious LA traffic jams. We got a spacious room on the fifth floor with a comfortable king-size bed and a huge balcony with a small but lovely ocean view. The room was very clean, with all the needed facilities. The hotel personnel is very friendly, willing to help with lots of questions from the tourists. The breakfast was decent, and it saved us time and money we did not have to search for meals in the city.

The hotel was beautiful. This was one of the cheaper hotels in the area and it went above and beyond my expectations. They had a nice selection at breakfast, very clean hotel room, nice heated pool, and staff was very friendly

I didn’t like that we had to pay $55 for parking. Seemed a little silly and wish we could have done self park but the valet guy said valet was the only option and it was $55. I also didn’t like that as soon as you exited the hotel you were met with homeless and people on drugs.

The first person we met at counter was rude told us we were to early to go away and come back later luckily for us a young lady came along to him to go away that she would deal with us and checked us in all we asked was for at least one room to put all our luggage in because we had three rooms booked but she was really nice and gave us three rooms

Breakfast more fruit and fresh options

Breakfast was good. Need to get one of those conveyor belt toasters. Lots of folks standing around waiting for a 4-slot toaster to toast bread, etc.

Could hear a lot of walking/noise in the rooms above us. Not sure what to do about it, but some noise dampening tech could be deployed to lessen the noise. Front desk staff was great though: moved us to a quieter room. Thank you, front desk people!

This hotel’s location in Santa Monica was very convenient to shopping, restaurants, highways, and the ocean. The lobby in Hampton Inn and suites was large, bright, and comfortable to spend time in. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped. What I loved the most was the professionalism and friendliness of the staff, especially the people at the front desk! The generosity and convenience of the breakfast was much appreciated. They changed it up a little every day to make it interesting. I enjoyed breakfast there every day, and appreciated the choices offered. Another thing I really appreciated was that when I asked for a “quiet room”, I was given a room on the courtyard.

I stayed during a strike. The strikers outside made a lot of noise. (But the staff remained professional and very helpful throughout.) iI would not have booked this hotel if I had known there was going to be a strike 5 out of 6 days! Would have loved more fruit choices than “apples and oranges” in the breakfast.
