Some guests were extremely noisy after 12 midnight. Maybe there should be a message to come back quietly after 11 pm. Also NO internet and the TV didn’t work!!!

The location of the property couldn't have been better or more ideal. We were a short walk from the Santa Monica Pier as well as several restaurants in the area. The hotel was perfectly nice, and the room was spacious and comfortable. Location, however, is what sets this property apart. We would highly recommend the Ocean Lodge Santa Monica Beach Hotel to anyone who wants to spend a few days around the ocean and all of the fun spots around the pier.

The good outweighed the not so good to such a degree that it's almost impossible to remember anything that we would consider subpar. Some of the restaurants and bars were a bit on the pricey side, but we expected that.

My parking experience at the hotel was extremely disappointing. The maneuverability in the Parking Area was Severely constrained Due to the limited space available. Arriving Late at the hotel, I Found All The Parking Spaces Already Occupied. The Assigned Spot, which I had to navigate into, provided to be a significant challenge, requiring careful maneuvers to Prevent Potential Damage to my car or Neighboring vehicles. Regrettably, my efforts were not entirely successful, and I discovered a small scratch on one of the side doors of my car. This damage was incurred while attempting to navigate within the confined space, ultimately colliding with one of the columns present in the parking structure. This experience has left me dissatisfied, emphasizing the need for improved parking management and space allocation at the hotel.

The hotel is in the best location of Santa Monica, a couple of minutes walk to the pier, so close to the metro station. The staff is very friendly, especially the lady at my 1st day. I arrived early, she let me checked in immediately which was so so nice.

It is a little bit pricey. And if the luggage storage time can be a little bit longer, it will be great! My flight was at midnight, but the lady at the reception said I had to pick up my big suitcase at 5pm

Just two blocks from Santa Monica Pier. The room was very clean and a nice size. The guy at the desk was very nice and helpful. New air conditioning unit, which worked great. We loved staying at this quaint motel. It was a 50's style motel that had been remodeled. I would love to stay at this motel again.

Parking was very tight. I parked in public parking on the other side of the bushes just a few extra feet to walk for about $18 for 24 hours. The bathroom windows also need work.

Staff and Front desk were amazing , as well as very caring and understanding , too . We cleaned our own hotel room , so , we didn't use any other services . We enjoyed the very close location to the beach and to the amazing restaurant right next door / Chey Jays Seafood and Backyard Grill ! It was so nice not having to go too far to grab a bite to eat, and then walk a few feet away to get back to our hotel to rest up ! We are definitely booking again at this hotel / location and everytime we travel here to Santa Monica , California ! This hotel is the BEST ! We didn't like that we had to leave , so soon , and , that we didn't get to stay longer? 😪

We stayed in a 2 room suite which is really hard to find! The beach decor was so warm and welcoming! The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable! The staff was friendly and accommodating! This hotel is is within walking distance to the pier and beach! From the balcony you can see the ocean and the night life!

The parking is very tight and you have to pay an additional $33 for it! On the upside, they let me leave my car 2 hrs. before check in and 3 hrs. after check out. The staff is great and very accommodating. I would recommend paying for the parking, so you can go and come as you please! It is limited, so reserve a spot when you make your reservation!

The price was much less than surrounding hotels. Loew's across the street was 3x the price. We wanted something very close to the beach. The staff was excellent!! Very friendly and accommodating. Housekeeping was great too. The room was very clean and updated, mattress was firm, and shower was large and modern. Coffee available downstairs, but they give you a small coffee maker in the room. It was perfect for what we wanted.

You hear the sirens, motorcycles, and loud cars on Ocean Ave at night, but so do the people paying 3x what you are, and there's nothing you can do about it. Appreciate being so close to the beach and pier.

The location of the hotel was wonderful. We were able to walk to the beach and restaurants. The beds were really comfortable. The wifi was fast. The room was so cute and spacious. We loved being on the top floor. It was nice there was a keurig inside of the lobby. The staff was friendly.

The only thing we didn’t like was the carpet in the room was so dirty. Our feet were black walking barefoot on it. We had to wear shoes inside of the room. We wished the carpets were shampooed. Otherwise it was a great stay.
