Great location in a quiet street in West Hollywood, close to many restaurants and stores. I loved how lush and green the grounds were and the cool rock n roll vibe with all the photos and memorabilia - all exceedingly quiet and low key. My one bedroom suite was quiet and spacious and had its own little private terrace facing the pool. The staff was friendly and provided excellent customer service, which made the stay very special.

My room and the hallways where I stayed were very outdated. The carpet and decor were worn and seemed like it was from the 1990s. The outside area around the pool also seemed like it could use a power wash and paint job.

This place was outstanding, staff, accommodations, location, atmosphere! They have it all! Walking distance to many areas, the resturant was beautiful, as you enter over the Koy Pond and the staff was so curtious and fun. The history and artwork is fantastic. The pool area is very inviting and has services for handicapped to alos enjoy which was fabulous to see.

Nothing, it was an amazing experience~ I had one small issue of lip marks on a slider (child sized) and mentioned it on my checkout, they were so gracious and extended apologies, assured it would be cleaned for the next guest and told me to watch for a discount on the resort fees to make it right!

Delicious breakfast - incredibly croissants - and great prompt room service. I liked the layout of the hotel and how you can amble through the grounds and open space. While it's close to Sunset Blvd it's set back enough to feel less hectic. Liked the layout of the suite.

The bedside lighting situation. There were only recessed overhead lights which were very bright. It would have been nice to have softer lamp lighting bedside in order to read without disturbing the person sharing the bed who wants to sleep. There are nice options in the living room with a table and floor lamp, if something similar could be available in the bedroom area that would be perfect.

The property is like a beautiful tropical oasis in the middle of LA. The location near Sunset plaza is excellent with restaurants nearby. It’s tucked away and not directly on the main road which makes it better. The restaurant is beautiful, good food and service. The breakfasts choices too were good. The front desk is very helpful so is the concierge. We spent 5 days and had a wonderful time.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite, and it was wonderful! The hotel itself is its own private oasis, making you feel like you're anywhere but where you actually are. It was quiet, reasonably well located, and incredibly secluded. The restaurant onsite was fantastic, staff were great to deal with, facilities overall were wonderful. We wish we stayed here longer than the 2 nights that we booked, and will definitely return on our next trip.

Everything far exceeded expectations, couldn't complain about anything.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Sunset Marquis. The staff were friendly & helpful; and the rooms & facilities are top notch! The location is ideal especially if you're not driving - it's right next to Sunset Plaza and the Sunset Strip is a little further down the road. There's a lot to do within walking distance or a short Uber ride. One of the reasons I didn't get to visit the hotel restaurant is that there was so much to explore in the area with lots of places to eat so you're really spoilt for choice. I didn't get to use either of the pools but I walked around the beautiful, well manicured and landscaped grounds and it seemed to me that the villa pool area is the only part of the hotel that could use some modernising / improvement. The on-site gym is fully equipped and temperature controlled although you also have the benefit of using the Equinox gym on Sunset Plaza as a guest which is a great bonus! Super comfy beds and luxurious towels, gowns, slippers and toiletries - a real treat 😊

The staff at the Sunset Marquis and at the Cavatina restaurant were absolutely wonderful. Upon check-in, they upgraded our room, and they always excelled at ensuring that we were comfortable. The food was so delicious. I ran out of time to indulge in the lovely-looking pool but perhaps next time.

A helpful item in the shower would be a nonslip mat for us klutzes.

Well I stayed in one of the 4 renovated rooms so my experience is great. The suite looked amazing, it was spacious and clean. The staff is helpful, the gym (they are not using equinox as mentioned on the website but have created one in the facilities) is amazing and fully equipped. 24/7 room service provided. Location great. The Geranal ambience of the hotel is beautiful

The place was a complete surprise At first it seems underwhelming, quite like an apartment block As you explore more it just takes a complete turn Beautifully appointed rooms but most of all , the friendliest staff a special shout to Logan Noel and Jesse

Fun, beautifully designed hotel in a quiet, central location with many good restaurants within walking distance. There was a good mix of families and other travelers here—we felt comfortable as a family but it didn't feel overrun with kids. Our suite was spacious and comfortable.

We didn't find much to complain about with this hotel! The only thing we saw as a downside is that the only parking is valet, but they were super quick to get our car every time.
