Nice area, close to beach and restaurants.

Most staff was helpful. When I asked about extending my stay, Shelley immediately said they were completely booked even before I could mention dates. She then asked me to go online and book (even though I was standing in front of her). When I came back with my reservation and told her we were able to book an additional 4 nights, she seemed bothered and responded with “I will see what I can do” even through I had a confirmed booking. She made us feel unwelcome.

The comfort of the bed was incredible! The cleanliness of the room was nice. Loved all the neat lights and charging stations. The lady that checked us in was super friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was nice too. Location is wonderful and AC worked fantastic. Really neat having both types of curtains. Can't wait to stay here again. Free parking too.You can easily walk to the beach.

Only thing was the water pressure is kind of low in the bathroom sink.

The location was perfect. It’s within walking distance to the beach. It’s not far from Walmart (in case you forgot something). Breakfast was good with the normal pastries, a few hot items, and a waffle iron. They had a peach juice I had to try. It was delicious, and I’m not a big fan of peaches. It had a cute little courtyard. The check in and check out were easy. The room was good for what I needed.

My room was on the first level, but I went through the breezeway and ended up on the 2nd floor on the other side. If you are unable to do stairs, I suggest walking around on the parking lot. This is an older model that has been updated. If you don’t like the older motel layout, you will not like this motel. Parking could be better. They need a better layout at breakfast. A lot came down at the same time. It was almost standing room only, but the walk back wouldn’t be worth it due to your food being cold. This room was fine for what I needed.

For a solo traveller, who needs to spend a night close to the ocean it was a perfect solution providing all what I needed. Considering rather high prices of accommodation in California this hotel was relatively not so expensive, but comfortable and clean. In addition the breakfast included in the price + free coffee and tea has been provided. There is well rated restaurant near by and in a walking distance there are other fast foods plus Walmart.

You don't see the ocean from the hotel, but after crossing a quiet street (it is actually "access to the hotel street", with no other traffic) you can easily get to the ocean.

Breakfast had good variety of food. Scrambled eggs were good. Rooms were clean. Staff was very accommodating in trying to find connecting rooms during check in.

Would have like connecting rooms instead of next door. We were almost next to the freeway, and you could see and hear the traffic, but when the door was closed you couldn't hear the traffic.

Breakfast was plentiful and constantly being checked ! Definately a bonus! The updated room had hardwood flooring and awesome backlit mirror. Bed was super comfy! Quiet, courtyard spacious. Can hear the ocean surf at night.... Greatly accommodating. We loved our stay!

I had an unfortunate incident with my booking on booking.com. I was supposed to have 2 full beds and when I arrived, I had a king bed. It was a nightmare because the hotel was full. I had to pray for the solution. The customer service rep at the front desk Ms. Elaine Rodriguez worked miracle and another guest was willing to change rooms with us. Her attitude was amazing! She was my angel for the situation. There was another incident that happened with my credit card and Ms. Rodirguez admitted to the mistake and addressed it with her supervisor, who was very supportive. The rooms were amazing!

Although I booked my room through a third-party vendor which I will NEVER do again, no customer wants to keep hearing that you have to contact booking.com to address issues like the one I had experienced. This wasn't with Ms. Rodriguez perse but other staff. It would have been nice to at least be asked if I can call booking.com on your behalf to try and help you? Also, if you have families that are booking several rooms, please try and book there rooms right next to each other. I know my situation was a last-minute problem solver. But in general, it is kind of annoying to be in between families and they are running back and forth making a lot of noise. Especially, when they have children.

The staff was amazing! Super friendly and accommodating, it was a huge bonus! The beach was closer than we thought it would be, the proximity was amazing for the price! The room was large, and comfortable, and definitely somewhere we would visit again for a trip to the beach.

The tub was a little dirty, and the breakfast was disappointing, with only a few things to choose from, and one staple in these breakfasts, yogurt, they only had vanilla, icky! That was really all, just some first world problems that would not deter us from another visit! My experience was really a good one. And I really did enjoy the staff who checked us in!

Shower head was broken, bathroom sink faucet had low water pressure, eggs at breakfast were very runny, doors and door locks looked very used and old

Convenient access to water, highway, city of Marina and restaurants. Staff was very friendly and hospitable. Liked room location, easy access. Beds are very comfortable.

All was great. Just a note- bathroom door has a very small clearance for opening. Surprised it isn’t a pocket door.
