We got there and checked in at 8:30 p.m. so we actually got the last available room. I didn't realize initially that we needed to specify a pet friendly room, so the mistake was mine, but they were still kind enough to accommodate us and asked us to take extra care of a non-pet friendly room. The room was upstairs and really cute. Nice decorations and bright fresh accent wall paint, with a cute seashell trim along the ceiling. The room was very clean and the heater worked well. We stayed there in November, so it got very chilly at night. I was thankful for the heater. The staff was kind and very friendly.

The only reason I did not give them a perfect 10 is because the bed was extremely firm. I loved the cute comforter they had on the bed, but the bed itself was hard as a rock. Hubby and I both woke up with backaches.

Excellent otherwise. Great value and fantastic location. Friendly staff and easy check-in. The bed was comfortable. The location is excellent, with just a 5-minute walk to the boardwalk. I am staying here again in August.

This room has some water heater issues. I took a shower between 5-6pm before dinner or so. I ran the water in the shower for 20 minutes before hot water was coming through. This was the only glitch on the whole stay. Also, the ceiling insulation is thin. The upstairs occupants could be heard walking around pretty well. This might be expected given the hotel age.

The bed was so comfortable to sleep on after not sleeping at all the previous night (due to a bad experience at a different motel). Also, the guy in charge was kind enough to let my husband and I check-in early so we could take a nap (again, we had not slept at all the previous night). Before we went inside our room, we could see the cleaning ladies cleaning our room really well; we could even smell the cleaning products so we felt better about staying here.

Wish there was a fan for the room but luckily I brought my own from home.

The motel itself is beautiful, quaint and nicely decorated with a beach theme. The location is excellent, close to downtown shops and the walking distance to the Embarcadero. There are several good restaurants nearby as well, all within walking distance. It was quiet and peaceful with great views from the upper floors. This place is also pet friendly, although there is a small fee for pets. We will be staying here again on our next trip!

Everything was great! One of the better places we have stayed in on our travels!

Exceptionally clean, friendly, accommodating, rooms SO cute @ colorful, bayside, wonderfully/centrally located right by idyllic lil “bayside” with all kinds of shops/coffeehouses/restaurants/inns/infamous “Morro Rock,” and lovely walking paths by the bay,…..truly can’t say enough about this amazing/awesome, super duper friendly, KIND town AND inn!!! PS. Best Pizza at “Pizza Port!!” right down the street on Main:):):) 1/2 hr drive to Paso Robles….Central Coasts outstanding wine region with over 200!! wineries, incredible restaurants, remarkable consignment stores!!, beauty rolling hills and topography, fresh avocados for sale along route!!!🤩🤩🤩👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️🌙🌟⭐️⚡️✨💫🌙🌟⭐️⚡️✨💫

Mattress a tad soft for my liking….but certainly acceptable AND very clean!!!

The room was clean, and the location was all within in walking distance of the pier, shops and restaurants. Some places were closer than other I believe the longest we walked was about 20 minutes still we could walk from the water from park to Dockside in 15-20 minutes.

If I had to be picky the sofas in the room could use a deep cleaning or be replaced but we did not spend a lot of money on the room, we most were out and about so it was not a big deal.

The hotel had a cute boutique feel, and it was easy to find because it's right on the main road. At the same time, I didn't notice any traffic noise so that was a bonus. The arrival and check-in process was easy, and it's right across the street from some amazing views of Morro Bay and Morro Rock.

The only small complaint was the bed I slept in, it felt as though it had been "well used" and had a bit of a hole I was sleeping in. In fairness, I was quite tired so it didn't matter, and I even had a room with 2 beds but it wasn't bad enough that I felt the need to switch to the other bed.

I was on street level. The location is great to walk down to Embarcadero, town, morning coffee. Interior paint color was very beachy and cozy

My ONLY reason for not giving all really super good review is the noise from the next door neighbors arguing was as if they were in my room AND when late check in's came and dragged their luggage up the steps next to my room it was loud. Short lived but loud.

It was redone front m the last time we stayed. To be honest we gave it a poor review in the past and it was only that we needed an affordable option this time and new it was a clean bed to sleep in but we’re pleasantly surprised at the remodel and will stay again

Parking can be an issue if you come back to the hotel after being out. There doesn’t seem to be enough spaces for the number of rooms so you have to park on the street

An exceptional value in a charming, beautifully clean and organized family-run motel with views of Morro Bay but a quiet residential setting at the south end of town. The quality is consistent and staff very friendly and hard working. I've been coming here for over a decade and enjoy returning to the same room each time for an annual break. This motel is a tightly run ship, and friendly, organized staff work hard and maintain consistently high standards at a very good price.

Amenities like the microwave and fridge are getting a bit old and worn in the room I rent at this point and this time I did notice that the bed sagged badly on one side and bedding has now got very thin and not really warm enough now the quilts previously used have been replaced by a simple bedspread. All are kept very clean and in repair, though, and these are small quibbles.
