Swiss Holiday Lodge is just a couple minutes from town in a very quiet beautiful area but easy access to anywhere around Mt. Shasta and we could see the mountain from our window! The Lodge is surrounded by well kept grounds, has a wonderful gathering place with gas firepits, chairs & swings. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus, we made it 3 of the 5 nights we stayed, perfect for relaxing after a good day on the mountain. The continental breakfast even had a few extras, fresh peaches & pears, boiled eggs, toast, juices & drinks, plenty of variety for a continental style breakfast. Our room was clean & neat each day & the friendly staff took care of everything. We loved this little hide away and will come again. Thank you

No complaints at all. My family & I really enjoyed our stay. The family who runs this lodge does a really good job. Room was clean, my kids loved the hammocks and I was able to make us a good meal and not spend money eating our because of the community kitchen. Waking up to Mt Shasta right in our back yard was amazing. Literally just open our curtains and their she was, speechless! Property was very clean cozy and free breakfast. I was literally living in Heaven On Earth! Thank You Swiss Holiday Lodge for making our first visit so memorable and we will definitely be coming back and stay again.

We stayed 3 nights here and enjoyed it so much. We had gorgeous views of Mt Shasta out the window from our pillow and we also enjoyed sitting in one of the outside areas and doing our own Happy Hour there each day with amazing views of Mt Shasta. So many motels in this area have no outdoor area.... The room was very well equipped with microwave, coffeepot, and nice frig with freezer section that was nice for ice packs for coolers. And all of this when they also include breakfast every day. A cold buffet of breads, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, etc etc. We didn't do this but they also have picnic tables and BBQ grills for people who want to do their own dinner right there (with a full shared kitchen available). Bed was very comfy and although the bathroom was small, it had everything needed and a nicely tiled shower. I would definitely stay there again! Relaxing, enjoyable, with nice host family...and the best views to enjoy while relaxing over a glass of wine!

Very clean, well maintained, they even refreshed our beds - although we were here for two nights only and it is a motel! Lots of towels (although for three of us I would take at least one more), warm and with a spectacular view over Mt Shasta 😍

It was a bit pricey in my opinion, but to be honest - it was a last minute booking during state holidays, so I shouldn’t complain about that. Breakfast was not very convenient to eat in the main lobby, but in summertime having breakfast outdoors should be really nice.

Hotel is well-managed and very clean. Staff was efficient and friendly, check-in was easy. Room was a standard 2 double bed hotel room, but very clean. Good working microwave and refrigerator. Good supply of toiletries and towels. Continental breakfast was included in the price and had a good array of offerings, plus a box of fresh, local fruit for guests to take along on their travels. Location is just a couple of minutes south of downtown, in a very quiet location.

Mattress was a little soft for our tastes.

Our stay at the Swiss Holiday Lodge was fantastic. We booked last-minute as we decided we didn't want to go through the pass that evening after all. We were a little wary staying at a non-chain hotel, but this place was absolutely lovely and we 10/10 would stay again. Super comfortable beds, the heater was already on when we arrived so the room was nice and toasty, and the internet worked well for Netflix. The bathroom had been recently renovated and was very comfortable. If you're just driving through this is wonderful, with easy access on and off of the interstate, and if your destination is Mt Shasta, it's even better. They have an outdoor hot tub and a covered grill section, both of which I believe are open in summer, and would make it a great home base. They've definitely done their best to provide options for breakfast, and when the coffee ran out the man running the front desk immediately brought out a fresh pot. Thanks for a great stay.

Nothing, we had a great experience.

The rooms are REALLY small, but very clean. It also was very quiet. I am a light sleeper and was not disturbed all night. The towels were good quality and soft, which was wonderful. There was nowhere to sit for breakfast, but we were able to take to our room. I used the tray from the coffee pot in our room and it made it easier. The location is great with Mt. Shasta right behind us with a fantastic view. The pool was closed, but the hot tub was divine. It felt great after hiking all day. I was the only one in it!! We had our dog with us and my favorite thing was the wonderful green lawn area that she could run in, right outside my door. It cost $20 a night for my dog, but having the lawn for her was fantastic.

Like I said, the rooms are small. There was just two is us, so it was fine.

good location, off the freeway and close to the town. scenery from outside is beautiful. Breakfast was ok, some boiled eggs, bread, bagel, cream cheese, cereals, oat meal pack, coffee, some Togo snacks and couple of fruits. Hammocks were installed in the front of the property which were cool and pool/hot tub was great.

rooms look dated. kitchen was not stocked. beds weee ok. Sofas were dated and old lot of dust. That said it’s not a 3star or 4star accommodation so it’s kind of expected. we used it to stay only one night, so it was ok for us.

I was reminded of many motels visited during childhood road trips. There was some charm pulling into the lot and seeing the pool/hot tub and outdoor spaces. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. The bathroom was very nice with a nicely tiled shower and floor. Being able to open windows wide allowed lots of fresh air to love through.

The property had everything I was looking for.

This hotel was perfect for our recent family ski trip. We loved the hot-tub, the breakfast was pretty good and what really helped us was a community kitchen where we could use the oven and amenities. The family that owns and runs this place are so attentive and hard working and super friendly

The rooms were a little dated and small for a family of four, but we managed. The beds were very comfortable though and the shower was great
