It was old but clean.

The bed was not comfortable.

Great value for location, cleanliness comfort and welcoming staff! walked to the beach! They offer free use of beach chairs, toys, boards and towels. Very comfortable and great for families. Great breakfast next door at Cappy’s.

The bed was very comfortable, the shower was good and warm, and the room was quiet and clean :) The location was also great, with a grocery store, restaurants, and the beach nearby. Special thanks to Diana, who helped me find an open place to buy a phone charger at night - saved my day! Very kind!

The only thing that wasn't good was that there was no cleaning room service, at least on the days I stayed.

Location A+ Was very comfortable and clean. I usually stay at the big hotels near the airport, so I was a little skeptical about renting a motel. I was very pleasantly surprised. I really liked being able to park my car right outside my room so loading and unloading was easy. There is a nice little park out back, which was wonderful when traveling with a dog. I liked being able to walk out the door with her rather than going down 14 floors and through the lobby every time my dog has to go. I will stay there again!

Could use some updating, particularly the TV. They had full cable, but I am very used to a smart TV that I can stream my own entertainment from my own devices and cast them to the TV.

Near to the beach. Free available chairs, boogie boards, and towels. Very clean. Well lit secure parking area.

Location was great. Access not far from everything Newport has to offer. Pretty clean place and the 3 beds were perfect for 3 guys. Don't see 3 beds for a normal hotel all too often. Both ladies at the front desk were very pleasant the few times we needed them.

We did spill some water on the floor and when we wiped it up with a towel, the floor was disgustingly dirty. Not a major thing, but something they should be aware of.

The bed was very comfortable. I was also pleasantly surprised that the room was as quiet as it was. It’s on a busy street but there wasn’t much noise at night. I also liked that there were towels and chairs available to take to the beach.

The hotel is rather old and the flooring isn’t the greatest. The tv was of poor quality. The picture wasn’t great even with adjusting the settings to get the best contrast possible.

Positives: Good Location (close to Lido, Balboa, Back Bay, etc.), pet-friendly, clean, a bit kitschy (but not overly), cost given location and amenities. Small community park is adjacent and coffee house/bakery and a couple of restaurants w/in walking distance.

Nothing really to complain about. Everything mostly good or better. Maybe a bit picky, but towels could be more substantial.

Staff was friendly. The hotel is in a great location and easy walk and access to the beach, the hotel provides beach towels, chairs, and umbrella's if needed - taking away the need to pack for the trip. The room was very clean.

The hotel is a bit dated, but had a very good paint job and bedding, and it's obvious the hotel has done things to make it less dated. The cleanliness made up for it. More outlets might be helpful for travelers with more electronic devices.

We didn’t eat breakfast here but we walked right across the street to the beach. Perfect!
