Location is good. Provide good American breakfast. Next to it has a nice Japanese restaurant and Laundrette

No elevator. Key card not working if placed against the phone.

This hotel is a good one but feels far more like a motel. You park in front of your room and each room connects directly to the parking lot. This is extremely practical but then you have to cope with noise coming from the street (like in every motel). If police/ambulance sirens wake you up, that could be an issue. However, the breakfast was good enough even though no "freshly" cooked eggs or sausages were available. Room size is very good.

Noise from the street can be heard inside the room. If you are sensitive to that, be sure to bring your earplugs because this is more of a motel than a hotel. Aside from the classic DIY waffles, no "freshly" cooked meals were available for breakfast.

It was very convenient to have free parking and breakfast available. The pool was also a great space to hang out in the warm weather since my daughter and her friend were stuck on Zoom meetings all day. Clean towels were always stocked, and the staff kept the facilities clean. We appreciated having a kitchen in our room since we had an extended stay.

A little variety in the breakfast would have been nice since we stayed for 5 nights, but I understand it's a low-maintenance breakfast offer. The microwave in the room was weak (it took longer to heat food than normal), but we appreciated having it regardless. The property is dated. The outlets need to be changed out. The plugs were not tight, so plugging electronics in was challenging; they kept slipping out. Also, upgrading to new outlets with USB readily available by the bed is a must in 2024.

That was a nice hotel with clean rooms, fresh towels, and white bed sheets. The hotel is not new, but good maintained. We had a basic room with a bed, TV, and bathroom. We also had breakfast included, where you can get some yogurt, eggs, fruits, coffee, and pastries. What I really loved was that we got free early check-in. We got to SD around 9 a.m., and I called the property to see if we could check in, maybe around 12, because we are very tired and waiting until 3 pm. will be difficult. They said our room is ready, and we can come anytime for early check-in with no extra cost!

Pillows are too high, and it hurt my neck after sleeping.

The minute I walked in I knew the rooms were cleaned, like really cleaned. I could smell the cleaning products and a faint smell of bleach, which I personally loved. I don't think I have ever stayed in a room anywhere where, even more expensive ones, where I could tell they thoroughly cleaned. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and made us feel welcomed, even asking us how the concert we went was. Friendly staff is always a plus for us. I would definitely stay again.

The parking spots were a little small. we were right up on the cars beside us. But that was it.

Room decor was a little dated but very clean and the whole complex was well maintained. Breakfast room had everything you need to start the day and there were vending machines and laundry facilities though we didn’t use them. Lots of eateries around the property and the area felt very safe. My only gripe was that our neighbours above and beside us were very noisy. We could hear entire conversations they were that loud.

Well kept older hotel with large rooms and heated pool. Large clean rooms. Super easy check in and front desk staff were great. For us the location was perfect and access into parking lot was easy. Lots of parking to. Stores and eateries very close.

Room keys. Every day someone’s room key did not work which meant we ended up in the lobby daily to get new keys. When we checked out we had about 6 keys and only 1 worked. Breakfast was minimal. Waffle, oatmeal, bagels, yogurt, hard boiled egg and cereal. Would have welcomed a pre package egg sandwich! Plenty of coffee and its good coffee. Internet was sporadic but when it worked it was good.

The location is good. It's not in a 5 star location but I tell you what. There's a lot of restaurants and places to eat around the area. 7 elevens nearby for that late night cravings lol. But with a family, it's highly convenient having a full kitchen and a full fridge with a microwave and stove.

I don't mind the kitchen being out of date because what's important is it works! Lol. But the carpet has hard spots in it and it could use a replacement. Other than that, we have a very comfortable 4 night stay. We would definitely stay here again 😁👍🏽

The hotel lot and room itself were very clean and in good repair. Nothing fancy. Beds were very comfortable and clean with multiple variety of pillows. A/C worked well, with one caveat. The price was quite good, compared to other options. Staff was friendly, available, and helpful. Very basic included breakfast — waffles, fruit, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs, OJ, coffee, etc. Dining room was very clean. Nothing fancy, but good enough to get on the road without being hungry. Coffee was very good. WiFi streaming speed was quite impressive for a hotel. No delays for me, and excellent bandwidth the whole stay. The hotel business is tough, but I loved the conspicuous cleanliness, repair, and bright colors of this place. Nice. If you don't require luxury, this is a solid choice.

Time lock on dining room was delayed. Had to get help to gain entry at 6am. The breakfast didn't seem to be very popular (I only saw one other person there), so I won't complain about lack of offerings. There were plenty of options, if you were starving. The only protein items were hard boiled eggs (like other hotels I like — in the fridge, FYI). OJ was limited, but probably more than enough for the amount of guests attending. Overall, a solid variety for a family to eat in the morning. Room A/C needed to have the dark drapes pulled away from the vents to cool the room at night. Not a deal-breaker, but FYI. WiFi login needed to be renewed every day — again, not a deal-breaker, but FYI. Room coffee not impressive, but dining room had very good coffee @ 6am.

Yes, the rooms are a bit dated, but they had everything that you would need on a trip down to San Diego. Decent good sized rooms with full kitchen facilities. Breakfast was adequate with plenty of choice from cereals to boiled eggs etc. Location is ok, plenty of places to eat and shop in the local area, although skewed to the student population in the area. We got ourselves a local bus Pronto Card, which allowed us travel to to Harbour area and Downtown in 30 minutes for only $2.50 a trip each way, without the hassle of driving through busy traffic and finding parking, great value.

Rooms could do with a spruce up. but they were more than acceptable.
