The garden area out back was so beautiful and inviting. My room and bed were comfortable

The whole place was very cute. A large house that felt like a home with roommates that you don't know and don't want to tick off. So, for the most part, everyone is respectful and nice. The staff are very nice and accommodating. You get the personal care from them not having a hotel with 5,000 plus people.

I wake early and sometimes I'm looking for coffee and that doesn't usually get made until about 7:30 AM. Not a big deal, but just saying, I would like to think that many travelers to San Fran are from cities and states further east that San Fran, so they may be on earlier time zones. I also wish I knew there wasn't an ATM nearby. I didn't bring cash and I had to leave early so I horribly didn't leave any tip for the staff.

Property was clean inside and out. The decor was very tastefully done and had a lot of charm. The rooms were perfect and had all the amenities. Breakfast was nice with pastries, bagels, fruit, cereal, juice, milk, yogurt, etc. Nice seating areas outside on on the covered patio. All around nice bed and breakfast. I will return.

The room got chilly and the small provided space heater was a bit loud when it turned on. I had the room next to the kitchen and it was a bit loud at 6:30-6:45am when they were brining in the breakfast and preparing it.

What a wonderful place to stay! The house is lovely and clean. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. The location is very safe and close to everything. The breakfast on the sun porch was very nice only topped by the wine and cheese in the evening. If you need parking, for a small fee you get access to a private road and secure parking behind the house. We enjoyed our stay immensely and Will definitely be back! Thank you 😁

Nice breakfast selection. Location of the guest house was just perfect for us. Easy to get to and access to public transportation. Gorgeous garden, comfortable lounge, lovely idea for wine hour.

Unfortunately we were in room 21 on some of the hottest days of the year…! The sound prevention methods (double windows) also prevented being able to benefit from the cooler night air, it was stifling at times even with the ceiling fan.

This is a superb hotel. The building, the decor and the gardens are all amazing. There is a fantastic social feel to this place, with breakfast served in the communal kitchen and dining area, and the daily wine and cheese social a great opportunity to chat with fellow guests. Our room was quite small with a private hall bath. This was the only room available at the time of booking, and normally we wouldn't choose a room like this, but we did based on the strength of reviews and the fact that there was secure parking available. We're so glad we chose to stay here because our stay was so enjoyable. Our bed was extremely comfortable; there was ample wardrobe and storage space for our clothes and bags; and our bathroom had everything you could need. Location is good, situated between Mission and Castro. The area felt safe to walk at night and there are endless food and drink spots for all tastes within easy walking distance. Above all, it's the staff that make Parker Guest House what it is. From check-in and throughout our stay, everyone was super friendly, welcoming and helpful. If we're ever in SF again, this is where we'll be staying.

A very pleasant welcome, the guest house is very well located, just a stone's throw from Dolores Park and a few minutes' walk from Castro, with its bars, restaurants and shops. The area is very quiet and the guest house has a very pleasant garden. The breakfast was simple but very good. If I were to return to SF I would probably come back to this hotel.

The rooms could be a little larger for the price. Except of that the hotel is perfect.

The noise of the tram at night in the room facing the street could disturb sleep street needed more lighning, it was a bit too dark at night

Parker's House is a precious gem in San Francisco! The staff is incredibly friendly, the couple (who I guess are owners / managers) are always present and willing to help. The common areas are really INCREDIBLE – they seem to take you back to the era when the house was originally built. The garden is so beautiful. Decoration is superb! My husband and I have been travelling a lot lately, and we can say without a doubt that that’s a level of detail even 5-star hotels sometimes do not manage to uphold. Bravo!

Excellent location for access to the Castro and Mission sections of the city. Easy access to downtown on the Metro. Beautiful grounds, with blooming flowers everywhere. Good continental breakfast. Wine social in the late afternoon. Helpful, friendly staff.

Make parking reservation ahead of time. Parking in the area is very difficult. There is a TV in the room, but it's in the closet, not sure how it was supposed to be watched. Cleaning was done on a request basis only. For the price of the room I would have expected daily cleaning.
